We have two sons with learning disabilities, the Reading Eggs and Math Seeds programs are very helpful in helping them to reach their potential.

I’m extremely satisfied with the whole curriculum for all three of my children. I found the small steps to be very effective for kids who are learning English as a second language.

My oldest was a struggling reader and like the publishers child, he was guessing and hadn’t grasp the skills of reading. He was a reluctant reader and I really struggled to get him “excited” to read. I too tried numerous programs, workbooks, flash cards and he was still falling through the cracks. When we had the opportunity to try Reading Eggs for a free trial, we jumped on it out of desperation. My second oldest was out spelling and out reading his older brother, but he was behind for his grade level too. I wasn’t aware of how much they’d fallen behind until we started reading eggs. I’m happy to report my sons LOVE reading eggs and they propel each other forward to learn more and compete on which map they’ve completed or who’s done the most lessons for the day! A friendly reading competition?? I’ve never been more pleased as a parent. Long story short, Reading Eggs has changed our year and outlook on school and education. It’s been WONDERFUL.

I have a special needs kindergartner and he was really struggling with Nessy Reading. We switched to Reading Eggs and I have been amazingly suprised how he has taken to it and has progressed. The down side...we ordered the workbooks, readers, ect. that go along with the app lessons. They are sent media mail, which I was not aware of, we live in Idaho and the materials took 3 weeks to arrive. Unless we wanted to back track, we had no use of the first four lessons packs... I had ordered the whole bundle.. so it was a waste of money...

My son really likes the program. The only issue we have is the volume can sometimes vary greatly between lessons, and sometimes within the same lesson. This can be startling and distracting to kids on the autism spectrum.

Over all I love it! I have a 5 and 7 year old and they have both really enjoyed the program. The 5 yr old isn’t reading yet but jumped leaps and bounds in just a few weeks of the program. The biggest problem was to get the 5 yr old to sit for long. But this is so engaging it has been a huge help. They both really love that they can’t miss too many or they don’t get to go the next level. Although that can be frustrating as well it has been a really good challenge that they both really want to do! The 7 yr old is being challenged to think through the stories a little more then the normal reading lessons for school and with the vocabulary words used which I really love. Mathseeds is great as well! Going over those math routes is so important. Thank you for making something so educational-fun -and very kid friendly!

I love this program as does my son. I feel it is even better than abc mouse. However. I rated it a 3 star because it is not compatible with the kids amazon fire tablet which is what we have. I only found this out after I purchased the yearly subscription so now we are stick with what to do. Other then that,, cust service has been great and the program was working.

I am an educator and homeschool parent. I have many subscriptions, but this ranks in our top 2. We use it daily for phonics and reading, but surprisingly, Mathseeds is a good supplement or introduction to math on its own too. I love the fact that your journey through stages and concepts begins with a placement test. If you get 3 wrong they stop you there and you will begin on that level. More importantly, if you feel that it becomes too challenging or not challenging enough, you choose another level. It is just the right amount of repetition once you get their leveling just right. It introduces concepts at a great pace, is colorful and captivating, but fun. My son recently turned 5 but is advanced. I appreciate the fact that I can challenge him using this program alone but also he enjoys this very much! Since you can try it for free, it’s really no risk!! I have recommended it to other families and will continue to do so!! I even plan on doing a review for YouTube and social media so others can see why and how it works. @ICanYouCanLearn (Learning with Lindsay)

My grandson truly enjoys the interaction he receives from Reading eggs with the Math portion of the program as well. There are times when he does not want to stop, even to get something to eat, and this is rare for many children who do not have an interest in education or course. Thank you, Reading Eggs, for your continuous contributions to our children who utilize your program!

We love this! My son hated reading, he dragged his feet and we got nowhere. We started this program and he loves it and has improved so much over a couple of months. It is not taking him long to get to where he should be! This is the best reading program we have tried and we will continue using it.

I looooove this program! And so does my daughter! We struggled to start homeschooling this year (she’s 5 with...a personality ) and this has helped us bridge that. The only thing I don’t like is that it has to be connected to internet the entire time. I’d love to use in the car etc. but not stream data. -Certified teacher turned homeschool mom approval!

The program so far has been great! I started homeschooling my 5 year old for kindergarten and found this program through good reviews. The only thing that'd make it better is an option to print a score/ certificate for every quiz done and not just the quiz at the end of the map so I could add them to his homeschooling portfolio.

My kids love reading eggs! A great break from the bookwork. I would love if the mathseeds matched how high the grade level goes with reading eggs. I'm homeschooling my kids, who are in grades 6, 3 & 1, and they all love reading and eggs and mathseeds they like (just not as much...not as fun), except that mathseeds doesn't reach a high enough level for my grade 6 son, and I'm left needing to find another math program similar for him to make it fair. Anyway, great program - I'm so glad I signed up! :)

The programme is really good and my son loves doing it. He has learned heaps and is doing so well with his letter recognition. I think it would be great if there could be an app that we could use offline as well. My son also finds it frustrating if there's an activity he doesn't enjoy but the only way to get to the next activity is to complete the one he dislikes.

Since we started JC on the two week free trial back in August we have seen a great improvement in his learning ability. Our son is so excited to use his new computer skills and spends at least 1 hour per day on Reading Eggs and Mathseeds. We are so happy with his progress. After the two week free trial we enrolled him for 1 year. This is the best money I have ever spent. We have started an Award book for his records and also his progress reports. Thank you for your support on the education of our 5 year old.

My 4 year old loves doing her reading eggs every day! Not only is it fun, but after 2 months of using reading eggs she is already starting to read! She is sounding out every word she sees in her world and can now read small sentences! This is the easiest and most effective way to teach children how to read. I have done it four times, this one being my fifth and this is so much better for us. I wish I had known about reading eggs when I was teaching my older children to read! I highly recommend this to everyone!!!

We have struggled to figure out where our son is at. he does the activities but gets a little bored. alos, the one activity allows for a car race if completed 100% correctly, but at least five times it says loading and goes to the home page instead of opening the game. a little disheartening.

My son is 5 years old and we are homeschooling kindergarten. He was really into reading eggs and math seeds for a little while so I paid for the year. Now he is a little more reluctant to do lessons. I kinda wish there were some way to have the program indicate which things need more practice so I could know what to look for. Also, there are some "activities" that my son doesn't respond to well and I need to work on those things in some other way and I think they may be part of the reason he becomes reluctant to use the program. The audio levels between different parts of the program is not consistent, some parts are so quiet that if there is any background noise in the room that the instructions become nearly inaudible and it can be difficult to distinguish sounds. I'm trying to follow the homeschool program from the bonus materials and I can't figure out where to find some of the resources listed and when I asked the question in chat, I never got a reply. I wish the app worked on my son's android tablet. Currently it is only really working for us on the computer at home. I also wish there was a way to have some of the content offline. There have been times traveling in the car that we would have loved to do some work when we don't have internet.

I love Reading Eggs for several reasons. The most important reason is because my struggling readers love Reading Eggs and are making so much progress! I am using RE and Math Seeds with my two ESOL children. I use it to guide my homeschool instruction for both of them. They do not resist and they love when my direct instruction aligns with the skills they have practiced on Reading Eggs. Sometimes I use RE as a preview of material and sometimes as a review. It is very effective either way. I wouldn't want to homeschool without it! The data is great and so are the supplementary resources.

Both my children love Reading Eggs! We started when my youngest was 4 after seeing a commercial on tv. I was so glad they offered a free 14 day trial to see if my kids would be into it. As soon as they started, we were all hooked! We started seeing noticeable results immediately in their willingness to try different sounds. They began picking up sight words and patterns quickly and enthusiastically. Getting to crack eggs and find out who the character is after each section is motivating and exciting. I recommend Reading Eggs to all of my friends with children!

At first, navigating the site was a little confusing as there are many features within it. One could just stick with following the lessons which progress as the child completes them. I am a homeschool mom of five kids. The four oldest are boys. We were introduced to reading eggs when my oldest was in kindergarten. The program is incredible. With four boys who are very visual readingeggs has been the program that enhances their skills and engages them the most. I recommend this program to every mom that asks about reading. My oldest two boys are fluent, excited readers and my third son is hatching egg 62 and working through first grade learning. They ask me if they can do reading eggs.

As a homeschool family, I've been so impressed and thankful for Reading Eggs! While I sat with my 7yr old and completed his math lessons, my 5yr old was able to teach herself to read using this program! Then we would switch places and my son would complete additional Math work on MathSeeds! It has been like having an assistant teacher in the room with me at home. And I love that it's a program they can navigate on their own with little help from me.

We have had tremendous success using reading eggs with our two oldest children. Our first was a reluctant reader who was getting very frustrated with it until we found reading eggs. She is now on the correct level for her age. Both of our kids also love Mathseeds!

The best elementary/middle school tool ever! My child has excelled and we still enjoy readingeggs. We will be finishing elementary/middle school by the age of 10 thanks to readingeggs and mathseeds as a foundation - thank you and keep up the good work. Homeschooling mom.

My 5 year old has enjoyed using Reading eggs. He challenges himself to save up a certain number of eggs by completing lessons, then rewards himself with an all game day. The other day, he casually read a novel word out loud in a store. I give a large amount of the credit to his time spent on these lessons.

My daughter needed additional assistance in progressing in Reading especially. We were using ABCmouse but when we came across Reading Eggs we quickly learned that Reading Eggs benefited our daughter greatly over ABCmouse so we switched. Excellent help in Reading, Spelling, and Math!

We love reading eggs! I’m just a few short weeks my kids have grown and learned so much. We refer it to all our home school friends as well as friends who just started pre k and kinder. We’ve been asked in the public library how we taught our 4yo to read level 1 books and it’s all because of reading eggs! My only gripe is we have to continually log into the the app on the iPad. I wish it would just keep the kids logged in.

We've been using Reading Eggs for a few years now as homeschoolers and love it and recommend it to anyone starting out homeschooling or for supplement. The site is easy to navigate for my kids and I, engaging, and fun, all while ACTUALLY teaching them something! Signing up/cancellation are both super simple and easy and they regularly offer discounts for renewal. With 2 more to teach to read, we will most likely continue to be members for years to come.

Three years ago my son was failing first grade. We started with reading eggs and finished the entire program transitioning to Reading Eggspress. He just finished third grade and is currently working through the fourth grade lessons. He is doing great in school! He is confident and proud of his accomplishments and he rocked his end of grade reading test!

I believe this was a good value for the price. My children of 9 & 10 enjoyed the characters and look of the program. The program moves at a good pace and helped them stay engaged. I will purchase again.

I like the concept and contents of the program. However, when I have questions, there is chatting on line function on the website, it never has any agent text me back. Sometimes, the program screen will hanging for many minutes and not able to continue, so I have to logout then login from another iPad... I wish to have more practice of the math calculation though.

I had ABC Mouse once. My son did not show any interest in it. A couple months after, I went and searched the Internet for apps that teach 5 years old how to read. Thanks be to the father above, I found Reading Eggs. It has helped my son tremendously. He now knows some of the sight words that were introduced in the lessons he already done. Which is my fault because I work and time is against me, or else he would have know more. Anyway, my son Is now asking for Reading Eggs daily. I went as far as to purchase the two workbooks that correlate with the app map lessons. My son can now read a short sentence that Reading Eggs taught him to do. I don’t remember the Map the sentence formation is but he now knows ( the, can, ran, and at, am, one, see, and, etc) , which is just a few of the words that he is now able to recognize instantly, that he was not able to, before I bought the app. I want him the now complete the all the sections in his age level so that we can redo them in more detail. I don’t regret spending a cent of my money for this app. It is 100% worth it, and I am still subscribing monthly until my son has mastered everything without help. Great job guys. My God continue to bless you so that you can continue to be creative in helping our future generations.!thanks

We purchased a 12 month subscription, that included Math Seeds, during a Summer Sale. For the price, I couldn't justify NOT trying it! My four year old thoroughly enjoys this entire program and she navigates it fairly well on her own. I love that we have a simple, educational program with multiple activity options (instead of stopping frequently to help her switch learning apps) on hand for those times when I need to work on paperwork. We've had some minor issues with the program glitching, which I hope to resolve soon. Despite those problems I'd still purchase this again, in a heartbeat!

Reading Eggs has been an absolute blessing to us. We homeschool and nothing that we were doing was seeming to help my daughter when it came to learning to read. Within two weeks of us using this program I could tell we had found what we had been missing. In just a short amount of time she has started to read. I can't say enough about how much we love this program.

The program and concept is great, but my kids can never make it through more than 15 minutes of using it without it freezing up and having to re-boot. I’ve checked my system and device, re-installed, etc. and have come to the conclusion that it has to be reading eggs. Also, I’ve reached out to customer service with no response.

We are enjoying reading eggs. Sometimes the sounds are almost British English though instead of American. Ocassionally this has been problematic for my child. My student would love to personalize her own avatar like abc mouse, but we are enjoying the program and email updates better than abc mouse. I like the reading and writing free worksheets and wish there were complimentary math worksheets to go along with what she's doing with math with your program. I do wish there was an offline program option, since we homeschool, and frequently are on the go. The worksheets help in this area, but being able to play offline through a level would be nice. Ocassionally games don't seem well explained and she's confused on what to do. This just means asking for help, which generally isn't a problem. I'd love a parent feedback option in the game to be able to message your company with whatever game we are playing and the issue.

It is incredible. My 2,5 and 7 year old use it and its incredible. All 3 love it and have learned soo much. They come back from camo asking me to do math or reading. This program has increase the knowledge of my children and has given them so much hands-on activities that it has been incredible! I am in love with it and sharing it with many friends as well.

Moderately engaging. My 4 year old figured out how to watch craft videos repeatedly. My 6 year old seemed to like it the most. With both my 4 and 6 year old, when they get to an activity that is too difficult, there seems to be no way to skip it or go back to a less challenging activity. We have had some programs where if you get it wrong a certain number of times, the program self adjusts to an activity that is more appropriately leveled. Also vocabulary is Australian based, so some things my children didn’t understand because we are in the US and use different terminology. I also have a 9 year old and they seemed to have a similar reaction. Moderately engaging, but no long term pull to keep them wanting to play. Overall I think it is a decent program, if your child enjoys it.

We enjoy the app but recently have been disappointed by some of the story reading games. In particular, the fill in the blank stories. There are too many choices given in the word bank which makes it very exhausting for an emerging reader to read through. Also. The blank space has numerous dashes which seems to indicate that they are looking for an answer with that many letters. However, that is not true and it is confusing. There needs to be clues given to help an emerging reader narrow down the correct answer or else she wants to give up. Then it's not fun either.

We love the content. It has helped my son very much. I am however a little disappointed with the app. It takes a while to load and we have to close it out completely and restart it a lot. And sometimes that makes him have to do a lesson over again.

This program has been wonderful and very helpful to my kids working on their reading skills. All 4 of my children think that it is fun and love to do their work using this program. Their improvements have been amazing! The content of the program I give 5 stars... but as a whole I give it 4 stars because I feel it could be a bit more user friendly. It is difficult at times to navigate through the lessons. It would be helpful be able to have a back button or be able to scroll to a part that the child got incorrect to be able to redo it. It would also be helpful to have a parents section that allows for review of what the child has done. I would like to be able to see what they are working on each time they do work. That would help me to be able to keep track of what they are having a hard time with and an easy time with. Overall I love the program and will continue to use and recommend Reading Eggs.

Both of my children use this program to help support their regular education. I have noticed them both really enjoy learning due to the games and fun learning activities. I have already seen an increase in school academics and confidence. No program is perfect and sometimes there are small errors but it is mostly due to human error, which is resolved rather quickly. Customer service has been helpful when needed. I have been able to use this program on a tablet and computer with no issues. Also, the cellular app on iPhone is great but not so great on an android.
