  Worked well Worked well. One thing I found difficult was the need to ""add"" for the income. I overlooked that until the end when I realized there was no mention of income from the w-2 having a place for input. I had to go back and look for the area where income had a box within but not just available.

  Wow team you guys did a wonderful job … Wow team you guys did a wonderful job on this product thank you so much. One quick thing -- on state voluntary donation of refund feature, it would be helpful to know the amount of refund anticipated on this screen in order to say what should be directed toward each fund. I think you guys could help drive possibly millions of dollars more toward these vital programs by making this feature really effective and fun. I had to advance ahead a few screens to get the state refund $ amount and then go back to apply it.

State refunds or taxes due are calculated after reporting all of your federal and state information, so our website does not auto-generate your state refund until all information is entered, then it's reflected on further pages. In cases where there are multi-state returns, we have to manually allocate credits to ensure accuracy.

  I have been beyond stressed about … I have been beyond stressed about filing my old tax returns for years out of fear that I owed money, but this year it had to be done in order to get back into college. PriorTax has made it so easy with their user friendly site and they even have customer service staff on call to answer any tax related questions I had.   Great - last minute tool!! This process was less painful than TurboTax, though Turbotax is painfree. I have never filed this late in my 30 years of begin in the workforce and this was great! Simple and easy. Just ensure you have all necessary documents!! Loved it!!

  Good, but not perfect I love that I don't have to purchase and download software for filing a late return, but it's not quite as intuitive as TurboTax. Still good and cheaper than filing with TurboTax

  Filling in the W2 and 1099 was a bit … Filling in the W2 and 1099 was a bit confusing. I actually had to go bad several times to get this information correct. The confusion was weather you were asking for our information or employer (or contractors) information. Please review how this is worded. Most of us will respond better to ""Your Information"" other than some other wording.

  Hello Carolyn, The income information entered by customers is used to complete your tax return, however, we are not able to generate IRS records such as W-2 income statements. Our website allows you to complete your tax return without submitting any documents unless it is required. If you do not have your income statement and are looking to obtain them, your employers should be able to send you another copy. You can also request an income transcript from the IRS on their website.
