  Acquired a GH5 for sports videography and brief filming. The 10bit color really injects a subtle touch in many of my images compared to my Sony camera bodies. The 180 fps recorded natively to 60 is silky smooth. 4K 60p is available with internal recording. 10 but is through HDMI out. I'm just finishing filming for a 90 minute documentary and the entire film was shot on the gh5 in 4K DCI in vlog recorded straight to the SD cards 10 bit at 150mbps at 24p. Affordable products and pleasant staff. Always look after me no matter what it is I purchase. Highly recommended

  I purchased the TG-6 for a water rafting trip on the Colorado River snaking through the Grand Canyon. A journey of ethereal beauty and window to enjoy the numinous. Mostly been using it for underwater photography and coastline fun. This camera produces wonderfully detailed photos of small species! Love that it is completely waterproof and so tough. The best thing since indoor plumbing for sure!

  They've all Nikon DSLRs in the market, both used & new, from advanced D850 to beginners' 610. I just received the D750. I shoot dance photography in low light and it is superb for use. This is a great camera, it represents (in my opinion) the winning combination of features and performance available today for the dollar.

  Ryan is an EXCELLENT cinematographer for both Advice &Stewardship for companies in need of broadcast or cine-style equipment. He made the experience fun while ordering online for both beginners and more advanced videographer. Shop is clean and well lit.   A dreamland for birders, hunters and boaters in the market for all types of binoculars. They've image-stabilization binoculars, waterproof, marine and astronomy binoculars from renowned brands such as Bushnell, Canon, Bresser, Fujinon & Hawke Sport Optics.   Store has a wide selection of DSLR video supports, bought an Opteka X-Grip and I'm disappointed with the plastic build and instability. This unit may very well be only suited for small (and I mean LIGHTWEIGHT) consumer cameras of less than 2lbs.

  I ordered the SiOnyx Aurora Sport as a supplementary tool for my astrophotography rig. battery is removable/replaceable! Build quality is outstanding, and the light amplification is impressive. It has a rugged body and additional ergonomic features include GPS, an accelerometer, a compass and a 1/4"-20 tripod thread. Includes time-lapse, image stabilization, digital zoom, and shutter functions. I highly recommend it as a night vision device and stargazing too.

  I've been dealing with Park Ave Video for over 10 years. Always great prices and friendly service. Back in the day when I purchased my Leica II Model D off of them, they were throwing in a new 120mm film with purchase. Couldn't pass that up. Don't put an ounce of faith in the negative reviews here, especially Reddit. If you are unsure where to start, be sure to take the 1st Photography class. You will learn about cameras, equipment handling, and even get to take a few practice shots. It is worth every cent.

They'd the exact gaming laptop we wanted and showed us immediately-a ASUS Zephyrus G15 15.6". The laptop looks very sleek, thin and seems sturdy and well made.   I love Arri Alexa, simple to learn the curve and operate, their cameras are built like tanks and solidly reliable with the superb image quality against the competition. Park Ave Video is the only store Authorized by Arri in Manhattan and teems with their cine cameras, ENG & Multi-camera studio ecosystems, stabilization rigs, lightings such as HMI/LED & controls.   I'm an ardent Panasonic addict and my HC-X1 does not disappoint. I primarily shoot weddings and corporate events. The design feels rugged and an improvement over past Panasonic cameras in this price point.   I'm not usually one to write poor reviews, but I do think people need to be aware of this shop's shortcomings. Rode mic orderd is not only functional but prevents me from using my DSLR viewfinder. Getting someone to address my concerns has been almost impossible. Later on the product return was recieved but my partial refund took a month. I wanted to keep business local but now I'll turn to the online companies. They have lost me as a customer.

  No-nonsense local store offering a wide range of camera accessories, lighting & other products. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Bought a Fujifilm camera from here and am very happy with it. Another store told me I would need a $500 lens and the staff here told me that is not correct and helped me configure my camera for the desired effect without more kit. Great store.

  I brought my camera to clean! And even told them that I have a very important photo shoot. Anyway after five days they called me saying that it's ready. I came from far, picked it up, back home an checked, it wasn't even touched. I came back, and you were to close, so cleaned it in 10 minutes and I was wondering why you kept me waiting five days. Anyway my camera was and is still dirty and dusty! Honestly I am not able to come to you every day just for cleaning my camera! And I know I have to pay at least other fifty bucks somewhere else to clean it. But you should be more responsible! People rely on your knowledge and expertise! It's better not to disappoint them

  First time there, the place was quiet and clean, easy parking. We (2 people) spend 1 hour there, left with the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and 24-105mm for wildlife and landscape photography, in total cost $2,500. The instructor stayed with us all the time inside the store and explained everything very clearly. Definitely, worth to try if you never used the camera before.

The tall guy, who the one who helped us choose a Joby Gorillapod , was really funny and calm the whole time and made absolutely sure we knew what to do before setup for optimal results.   Friendliest staff ever! They really went above and beyond for us! Have all CFast Cards, CF Cards, SD Cards, XQD/Delkin Devices, and SSD storage for cameras. He knows what he's doing and make is fun for everyone. We went there for an SDXC for the 5D Mark IV, so even with no experience or equipment one can still enjoy the thrill of photography! :D They had everything we needed!. All in all, the place is great and the staff is amazing! I would totally recommend it to everyone.

  A Heaven for the backyard birder or hunter in the market for high-quality glass! Vast selection of binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, and accessories. They also carry rare spotting scope eyepieces like Leica, Kowa and Hawke Sport Optics. I did painstaking research before endorsing this sharp and micro-contrast Pentax XF smc 8.5mm Eyepiece. The XF8.5 is a very well made, compact eyepiece. It works perfectly work with Pentax PF-65 ED II. Thank you Ryan at Park Ave Video.

  Acquired a Tamron 28-70 f/2.8 for my my Sony a7iii. Thanks Tamron for expanding your Sony lineup and for producing such a high quality lens at a reasonable price. Images are nice and crisp - plus the noiseproof motor makes it awesome for my video work. Light and compact for real estate and some full body portraits. Highly recommend Park Ave Video!

  SeaLife SPORTDIVER, Love the unit and housing for scuba diving. This case allows for deeper diving to 45 meters.I shoot straight in Aperature mode for all occasions except video at night and Blackwater. Auto mode seems to give me best results for night reef. Aperature with max 200 ISO setting gives me best results with Blackwater. No issues of overly blue image haunting Olympus PT-059.

  They've all types of film, 35mm, 120mm, movie film and other formats. Color Negative Slide/Transparency B&W Negative B&W Chromogenic (C-41) B&W Infrared. All brands, Fujifilm, Bergger, Arista, CineStill & Ilford. I came specifically for B&W Chromogenic (C-41). I use this film for all of my projects. The most important thing is to expose your shot precisely. If you over-expose by more than a stop than its hard to get a good, contrast print from the negative. I have taken so really good photos with this film so its not all bad but I find it best just for craft projects where less creativity is involved. Its just not your retro B&W Chromogenic (C-41) are less forgiving. Good for school but I use other films for personal and portfolio work.

  Highly recommended! I went with a group of friends rent out lenses for a bachelor party. All the guys were very impressed, great selection of cine-style lenses to choose from.   A friend and I came here to try out super-telephoto lenses for the first time. This is a very welcoming and well-equipped place if you want to multiple native and third party lenses. Our salesman was Tom, he was very reliable and always made sure we understood how Catadioptric telephoto lens work with knowledge of using your camera in Manual mode. We left with Opteka 500mm F/6.3 Mirror Lens, It's not as sharp as the rest of my telephoto lenses, but the price tag outweighs the deficiencies, it's a $130 piece of glass!.   Sigma fp, build quality, colours, size are all excellent on this camera with cinematic effects in an insignificant footprint. I shoot a lot of church receptions, landscape, wildlife and family gatherings. It's very versatile and I am able to bring it with me all the time. The picture and video quality are superb. Totally professional and friendly place. Made everything simple and straightforward from ordering to delivery, and made generally comfortable. Had a great time and in will definitely go back!

  Bought a Bolt VB-11 flash to use on a Hasselblad 500CM medium format film camera, I use the Godox X1 Trigger, and Receiver. No overheating even when shooting several hundred full power shots at a wedding. I like the flexibility of being able to use on my flash bracket, or mount it on a light stand with several dedicated light modifiers. In my opinion, the power, and price are well worth it, and outweigh the high end speed lights that cost more minus a power pack.

  Store has a solid selection of home TVs, including curved TVs. I had the option of comparing 55'' and 65''. Im always a Samsung fan. This is the first curved television I have owned and it is excellent! The picture quality is great and so is the sound. I am very impressed with the picture quality. The apps such as Netflix and Hulu work perfect. I would and will recommend Park Ave Video for curved televisions to anyone.

  Ikelite 4081.31 works well with quick release system. t's great to be able to detach the arms to work on your camera (multi-task, change accessories, etc) and re-mounted the arms quick as a flash. The connection points are good and solid, and no worries about them releasing in use. Very happy with this product. Just what I sought!

  I purchased the Canon MG3620 printer because of the wireless printing and it isn't that seamless. Sometimes it takes me more than five minutes to print a document from my Smartphone and don't get me started on the struggle to print from my from my laptop. I'm a self-professed photographer and I can confirm the picture quality is wanting.

  Lectrosonics M152 is an industry's workhorse with outstanding sound quality. The sound is incredibly clear and does not pick up a lot of extrinsic noise, such as movement against clothing etc. It is not the best mic on the market but for the money and the reliability, you can't beat it.   I'm a still amateur photographer, bought the Sony Sonnar T* FE 35mm f/2.8 ZA last month. The f/2.8 is a wonderful optic, and very compact and light. It is a truly amazing lens for its size and price. The FE 35mm f2.8 ZA lens is very sharp across its field of view, with excellent image rendition. I use it with a6000. Minus one star as the lens feels rather bulky and not suitable for travel.

  I am a longtime Nikon user well-acquainted with the brand's build quality and the D610 delivered by Park Ave Video is a beautiful piece of engineering, DX bodies pale in comparison with it. Sports, wildlife, travel photography it does it all. Add some high quality lenses to this FX and you can take amazing photos. Nice full frame FX Nikon DSLR. Great entry level full frame FX camera to get into full frame DSLR photography. HUGE benefits at a bargain price when I got the kit with 24-85mm for just over $800. If you are a DX user looking to move up to FX. This is your spot for sure

  im a videographer who specializes in marine documentary recordings. i record a LOT of species every year. Panasonic AG-AC30 had a few things i was looking for in a pro 1080 video recorder. excellent low light capability, xlr inputs with proper volume control, built in light, 2 chip recording, excellent picture quality, touch screen, etc. and this video camera meets all of the most important needs. it was also the only camera in this price range that had all those features. i highly recommend this video equipment store if you want a budget camcorder.

  Stumbled across this place whilst on the search for a Bushnell 10x42. Very responsive to emails, popped in for a chat today. Felt very welcome as a beginner in the bird-watching game. Didn't have stock of what I wanted but felt confident I will be notified when in. Large stock of Monocular accessories and other items. Thoroughly recommend for beginners.   There are good and bad for this store. There are 2 sides of every coin. The accessories and the camera. For the accessories, the staff are very friendly and answered my questions whenever I ask question. However, for the camera store, the staff are very rude. The staff there are mostly gurus and they get pissed off at beginners who keep asking questions. They just want you to quickly get straight to the point and buy their stuff. I am both happy and disgusted.

  Purchased tamron 2.0x teleconverter primarily for my Tamron 150-600 g2, it is manual focus only, do not even attempt to autofocus it. It works fairly well with my Tamron 150-600mm astrophotography rig for lunar observations. Image quality with this is excellent, although f-stop value changed from f/6.3 to f/13.

  I bought my second action cam here as an upgrade to my HERO6, it renders a substantially better image quality, ideal for color rectification and no image obliteration. Sony sensor is four times larger and it shows in results. My one concern about the Sony is that I will sometimes want a wider field of view, but I can get that with a .7 converter. A larger sensor has knock-on effects, especially for heat, but I'll live with that. I think that the Sony RX100 or other sub-compact is a better choice for many people, but I need a way to protect the lens while filming and this is not possible with sub-portable cameras.I thank Ryan for his patience in my upgrade, 10/10 company!

I purchased my latest Sekonic Light Meter L-398A Studio Deluxe III here, accuracy and durability at the highest degree. Small, compact, and easy to use for the photographers and cinematographers.   I'm a loyalist of Panasonic cameras and pro video.The place was absolutely amazing, friendly and attentive staff, wide choice of prosumer camcorders to shoot weddings or sports not to mention all Panasonic Lumix cameras, camcorders, multimedia projectors, commercial displays and whiteboards prove who the best is !!   A mecca for first-rate aircraft video! Whether you want a Mavic II or zenmuse aerial cameras, they've got it covered under a one-stop shopping. Purchased EVO II PRO 6K quadcopter, performance has been rock solid and completely indispensable. The pictures it captures are splendid. For filmmakers like me, the key benefit include the large 20MP 1" CMOS sensor, which can record up to 6K video. That video can benefit from 10-bit support and an A-LOG profile for incredible dynamic range. Plus, the relatively large sensor enables improved performance in limited light with sensitivities up to ISO 12,800 in stills.

  Never gone to Park Ave Video before, and was met with an incredibly friendly and helpful atmosphere as well as brilliant staff. They even gave us extra time due to RED DIGITAL issues at the beginning. We really got a sense they enjoyed serving customers - a rare miracle nowadays.   What a fantastic evening out! I'm so glad I decided to order the Leica 1.8-12x50 Magnus i Riflescope as a surprise birthday present for my grandfather, as he loved it! The staff were lovely and they went out of their way for us to get the most out of our experience there, doing something we have never done before. I came across this business, which is pretty local/easy to get to from Madison Ave. Rather than my first choice outside of NYC for riflescopes! It really was fantastic value for money, with the time spent, games/ competitions, various glasses tried (although I preferred using the Vortex) and I will definitely be back! It's in a fantastic area and we went out for coffee afterwards, as there is so much choice around Park Ave, NY.
