  Bought the Manfrotto Stand Compact to upgrade Manfrotto 305 stacker stand, this is a re-engineering for on-location photo shoots along with light heads and flash guns. It's not rugged enough for self-supported studio strobes. It felt little unstable with light strobe connected even without any light adjustment although it's rated for up to Nikon DSLR, the air cushioning was a very handy aspect.

  Bought Atomos video converters for the transmission of HDMI signal for my studio cameras to SDI for a longer cable add-ons to my switching board. The lockable HDMI connector ensures that locked HDMI cables won't accidentally get unplugged if there's a snag. Each one runs through more than 1 yd of cable and I have yet to have anything but rock solid connections.

  Good selection and friendly staff. However, as a beginner, I felt like I knew more about the full-frame I was looking to buy than the salesperson (there were some specifics I had to correct the staff on...). Prices are a touch high and non-negotiable apparently, which would be fine, if there was good advice with it. Went to a different shop the next day and purchased the same item with expert advice for less money.

  Exactly what I was looking for to enhance our boating experience PARK AVE VIDEO UNBEATABLE on pricing and delivery. Arrived on time and as expected. Very versatile 7x50 marine binos. German craftsmanship & engineering. Feel good in hand, superior ergonomics. Really super-quality optics/glass. They are heavy and feel ruggedly built. The picture is very nice and the autofocus is a great advancement. I am using them on a sailboat and they perform efficiently. I recommend PARK AVE VIDEO for his technical advice and for selling this product.

  Bought a Sony 18-105mm F4 APSC online from this store for my a6000. Went in the next day to pick it up and brought the lens. I choose it for it's sharpness and versatility. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a winning combination for landscapes, headshots, weddings, architecture, motor sports, and portraits. After I picked them up Doug ensconced in the Vello extension tube for me and did an excellent job. As a mechanical engineer myself I'm very fussy but could find no fault with his work. I will definitely be back to Park Ave Video again in the future. Thanks guys!

  I bought a gaming MSI GS65 Stealth Thin from them a year ago. Forgot to review the experience. It was over the phone and I know how erratic electronics related businessmen can get, but this one fellow (Ryan the name) was really patient with me. He was educational, not overwhelmingly enthusiastic(this part is just me) and an overall good guy. Anyways, thank you for park ave video experience. WOW WOW WOW FEEL

  I walked in here looking at prices for some DSLRs. At the time, I wasn't sure what I was looking for. The guy behind the counter gave me a chunk of relevant information and told me the other EOS I was looking at was a better deal than the one he has. I haven't had a chance to actually buy anything yet, but I will definitely be going there for my next purchase.

  I found a Brother HL-L6200DWT laser printer online on the website at PARK AVE VIDEO a couple of weeks ago. I called to confirm it was in stock and ask some questions before a big purchase like that. You see, this is my first Brother printer. The staff went out of their way to answer my questions and were patient throughout. Truly appreciated. I called after I received my printer to ask some questions and Ryan was kind enough to answer all my questions. Not once throughout my dealings with them was I rushed off the phone like some others. I live in Philadelphia and will always buy all my printers & accessories from PARK AVE VIDEO in the future. Can’t beat the customer service.

  Recently rang Park Ave Video regarding a used-for-sale product on their website. I was surprised to get a reply from the owner within an hour!! I was asked if I could phone the store and speak with a specific person regarding my questions. Service was excellent, full of integrity and very efficient! I purchased a used large-format camera and 3 days later received it! Excellent service! Very happy customer! I will buy from them again for sure!

  A well stocked outdoors store that provides a personal level of service. I recently stopped in to buy my scope's lens filters and lens shades. I had all my questions answered and was attended to very quickly. I'll return here without question when I need to add to my scope-mounting list.

  Feiyu G6 handheld gimbal is my go-to. I did call beforehand. I wanted it for my GoPro 9. I finally set on this one because the G6 didn't look like it could mount well with the GoPro mount which this has. The gimbal is well made but the manual is very disappointing. As others mentioned, you have to look at YouTube to figure some stuff out. Once you do, it works well. The GoPro doesn't synchronize with the G6 app. Clear, fast and accurate, excellent with portability benefits.

  Awesome knowledgeable staff working there. Very spot-on and professional. The staff here will tell you like it is with no circular polarizer or UV. Prices are great and if they don't have an item in stock they can usually order it in. As a note, it help you and them if you have the precise item or filter size and they are not mind readers.   Bought my 77mm 8pt/2mm Star Filter from Tiffen at Park Ave Video. Slim easy to use. Quality glass! Easy to use, has that special effect to turn a dull photograph into a sparkling pleasant image. Screw onto lens, rotate outer ring to desired angle of star. Filter has grid lines visible to see and is sturdy in materials. Fits onto my 28-300 lens and looks better at range of 28-85mm. Still okay at other ranges but over emphasis the star and loses the image quality and character. Excellent for candles during weddings or dim lighting outdoors. With portraits that glimmer in her eyes helps to set the mood.

  360-degrees for Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering-Matterport or Ricoh Theta Capture and Map 360° Environment, Create 3D Maps, Models, and Schematics. Park Ave Video was a great place to start! they boast a wealth of experience and knowledge with the various VR 360° cameras they sell. There is a homely feel about the place even though you are surrounded by expensive gear! After an initial purchase and a rather humorous email exchange I was able to get a full refund and purchase the Matterport that I actually preferred (Matterport MC250 Pro2) with no hassle from the team and despite my attempts at negotiation and hesitate they were all very patient! Love the VR! Thanks guys! look forward to coming back as I continue to develop architectural and real estate virtual tours.

  My Husband has had two dealings with Park Ave Video and on both occasions he's confessed of their excellent service. First he purchased a Canon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR for our son. Secondly he sold them a Nikon Z 6II with 24-70, not only were they extremely helpful but they gave more for the Nikon we sold them than the shop we purchased it from who actually tried to take advantage of him, this was Adorama, terrible place, stuck up and full of self importance. We would certainly use this shop again and definitely would recommend them to anyone.

  I usually bought my Home Audio equipment here but have changed my mind after I ordered a used projection mount and essential accessories. The OEM mount had no lag bolts or core mounting hardware. I opened the packaging, and found that the ceiling mount did not come equipped with lag bolts or any other kind of mounting hardware. So, my technician had to postpone. $200 down the drain. I've been a loyal Park Ave Video customer, but this is unbelievable for a mount worth $250. I will have to consider buying USED Equipment elsewhere.

  It's an Aladdin's' Cave for Used Video Production rigs including Transcoders, Encoders & Decoders, routers & switchers, teleprompters, video signal & scan converters etc. Ordered a DECIMATOR DD-HX Converter last month and had to leave a review. This converter is ruggedly built, seem to be of very first-rate materials and craftsmanship, and it works well. The one thing that made me chop a star is I found the menu to be very intricate... something that can really slow you down when you're in the trenches and trying to tweak a configuration. Otherwise its great.

  Bought a lightweight and versatile Z CAM E2C Pro 4K Cine Camera and Meike 25mm T2.2 lens. Amazing Price Performance & Superb versatility. I've been shooting weddings. Dont let the lower price dissuade you, this camera is top notch. The quality of images is outstanding. Ryan persuaded me to include a Meike 25mm cine lens and it is a solid cine powerhouse.   Obviously not a very high quality standard. Extremely dirty scans were delivered to me and had to be made new, but are still dirty. And apparently with a good faith. I was advised to simply remove the stains myself.

  Recently made an online Blackmagic Cine Camera purchase (with 2 x Batteries, Dual Charger & 2 x SD Cards). I live in Maryland so shipment took about 5 days from my order date which was fine. Communication with Ryan was good. They had to divide my order into two shipments, however, they communicated well and were very pleasant to deal with. Blackmagic arrived in good condition and works as advertised. I will definitely purchase from them again!

  Great prices and selection. This is one of the few places I’ve been in, where if you want to look at a the holy grail of circular fisheye lenses, they just give it to you. Everywhere else, once you’ve looked at two or three, you start getting the “are you planning on buying something or just wasting my time” attitude. I’ve bought several Lensbaby circular fish eye here and a ton of accessories, and even when I stopped to fondle fisheye landscape photography they’re still happy to hand me the next one. Never had a bad experience. Recommended.

  Best place for cinematography and aerial imaging equipment. I find that the way you are treated when you are buying a $5 item shows how you will be treated when buying the $2000+ R5. The staff, when they get a chance to stop helping other customers will walk you through almost anything that has to do with cine-style video or lenses. I have asked for small accessories from almost all the shops in central New York and it seems that Park Ave Video is the only ones that will out in the same effort for a $50 adapter as a $500 GoPro cam. Been buying there for a lot of years and plan on doing many more.

  Customer service was lacking on my first visit with not so much as a hello when I came in. I basically stood waiting for someone to help me for 10 minutes. Lately they have improved but first impressions count. The cine selections is nice but Covid rules such as masking is not observed or enforced by staff very well. They rely on customers to do that.

  If you want the absolute BEST, you've found the right place. Biggest selection of quality new (and used) large, medium & other formats in Manhattan with the best sales and service in the industry, hands down. No big box store will even compare to their service, before and after the sale. They stand behind their products and fully support their customers.   I reached out to Park Ave Video to see if they would extend a sale price on a Leica 7x24 Pinmaster II since I was not able to hit the mark on it this weekend. They agreed to honour the sale price and said to purchase the item and they would credit me the difference. So purchased the rangefinder today and within minutes I received an e-mail that the credit had been applied. Fantastic customer service and highly recommend them.

  The ARRI AMIRA camera bundle and accessories were exactly as described.   Store in desperate disarray. Stock lacks updates and is fraught with misrepresentations. Each salesperson had a glitch helping you with resolving pertinent issues even though you are procuring Industrial & Multi-Purpose video systems for our company. Ultimately, I left and processed my order with B&H Photo online that were more sympathetic to my needs.

  There is no other start-up in photography that has survived the aggressive competition from Jeff Bezos & B and H Photo.   I have bought some excellent used gear from this store such as Camcorders & third-party Rokinon lenses and I am very satisfied. They cover all of my cinematography needs. If you're a Vlogger, or YouTuber, you'll find some really decent equipment at steal prices. You'll also shop for audio units such as wireless mic systems, regular digital cameras, and essentials of the trade. It's hard to anticipate ever needing to take your custom elsewhere. Wow, and the customer service administrators are the sweetest people I have encountered in New York.

  This photography and videography shop also carves a nook for the film camera enthusiasts. You can tell they're authorized franchise for the popular brands of cameras. They have experts for maintenance on digital mirrorless such as sensor cleaning however the core focus is sales/trading in of camcorders &electronics. What the owner doesn't know about camcorders is not worth knowing! He is a lens man with gunsmithing-like skills! I have had several camcorders and cine lenses repaired by him. They also have a large collection of bags, housings and other items such as flashes etc.

  Really awe-inspiring view and great place to visit if you LOVE ETHOLOGICAL hunting, long-range shooting, or even an avid golfing. Great place to purchase rangefinders, monos, and binoculars. The staff are friendly but some prices from online can be SUPER different than from the store which was a surprise to me which I came here to get something in particular. Anyway this store is beautiful and really great for hunters that want to get the best legendary optical precision possible. Even great to walk around in since it’s soooo captivating.

  Every time I come to New York City I must go to this place. It’s heaven for stills and sport photography cameras from popular brands such as Sony &Canon. Ordered a EOS 7D Mark II and staff were helpful and nuanced in our discussions. If you’re into professional photography of any kind you must come here. Absolutely packed with the Sports, Wildlife, and Action Photography cameras, the staff that work there are highly professional too.

  It’s probably a good film processing spot. Final products high-quality, not very busy. However we needed assistance with something at the photo shop. The lady working was not the most informative. She said she didn’t know full-frame cameras but told us that we were in the right section. We knew that but she could have helped us. There was no one else in that area of the store so she could have gave us more assistance finding what we were looking for. It was a little off putting. Everywhere else in the store seemed good.

  Temple for Leica binoculars, laser rangefinders, riflescopes & eyepieces. They particularly have great options for Trinovid HD, Ultravid & Geovid binocular series. There is also a great range of 8x20 monocular along with brands such as Bushnell, Vortex, Swarovski and celestron optics, and so on. Staff is great and quite helpful. There is an expert to each area so they are richly acquainted with all optics' details.

  It's a paradise for vintage and collectibles! Anything you need from cameras to camcorders to lenses they have it and sometimes they have the best prices around. Be sure to check their used 35mm, medium-format &vintage used cameras as they always seem to have the best price for Horseman used models and even have the upgraded versions. Cameras include Used Large Format Cameras, Cambo/Calumet, Ebony, Arca-Swiss, & Horseman. Top-grade quality, little to no signs of wear, I purchased Linhof Kardan GTI with minor surface marks described as "good" but almost mint condition. I miss you Park Ave Video!

  All in all, they're super-store. I've placed a few orders through them and it's always showed up in a timely manner and their online chat is pretty quick and helpful as well. My only gripe is I'm not so sure how I feel about the quality.. I think I will take my prints elsewhere going forward. When ordering something for a client and it never looks high-contrast or crisp (even some of the words for titles aren't crisp), I'm not sure if I want to keep taking this risk! It always looks like the resolution is extremely low, but it's not.

  I bought Nikon D500, 1/1250 sec @ f/8 ISO 500 are ideal for shooting birds-in-flight photos. I pair it with 500mm f/5.6 focus settings are the best for birding photography. I plan to use the camera for nature and wildlife photography and so far the quality is fantastic. I have shot songbirds and small wildlife, birds in flight, and landscape photography.   They have the whole kit and caboodle for a photographer's rig. A dreamland for photography lovers. That's not even the icing on the cake! All of the staff are photographers such as Macro or portraiture so they are super knowledgeable about any questions you have. They are the courteous and most tolerant personnel I've ever rubbed shoulders with in NYC. No upsell, treasure troves of wisdom, very seamless purchasing processes - I could give them five them all stars in the universe. Absolutely incredible,100% would recommend.

  Ordered a Zeiss CP.2 25mm/T2.9 cine lens plus ZEISS Torx Pan-Head Screws, card and battery bundle. Best online price (after Zeiss' cashback). Came the next day via UPS who give an hour time slot. Really well packaged and very pleased to see that they recycle paper to act as a buffer inside the main parcel box - so much better for eco-sustainability than plastic. Would recommend them based on this experience.

  Bought a used Schneider 135mm f/5.6 enlarging lens, a superior German engineering darkroom optics. Item graded as good but looks like new mint condition. Its not only compact and travel-friendly but the 135mm focal length seems to be a sweet spot for performance vs price, thank you Park Ave Video, NY, Ill be back.

  I ordered a Altazimuth Mount TELESCOPE but it suffers from bad optical quality. It's not appropriate for viewing planetary bodies, lunar objects and other conspicuous candidates but suited for child play. My Celestron binoculars render a better vieiwing. Blame lies on Meade and Park Ave Video for recommending the telescope.

  I ordered the CX350 to film sports and shoot livestream church services. The camera is amazing, well stabilized, use-friendly, extremely versatile, videos are clear, crisp, excellent color , autofocus works great for fast sports and has clean audio. I owned a JVC-GYHC500U but the CX350 was far superior. No intermittent rolling shutter, authentic colors, better low-light response. Overall, we liked the results enough to outfit our multi-camera setup with this product. Would recommend it.
