  I usually buy equipment from these guys. Generally the staff is knowledgeable and patient to answer your questions. They carry a good range of different bodies and lenses, lighting and other gear. Prices are competitive.

  Tried to order a Sony a7 II online but the order failed. Phoned the helpdesk and the person I spoke to was very helpful, checked himself and for whatever reason the order had not gone through. Ordered over the phone and received my camera the next day. Excellent service and thank you.

The store is easy to get to and find and parking is right outside. The staff are very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Loving my new Canon EOS 700D.

  No stock, payment taken, poor communication First time I have used Park Ave Cameras, and have been left somewhat disappointed. Firstly they advertised a camera battery being in stock, and took payment immediately out of my account. When I contacted them to arrange to collect the battery, was told that they don't actually have it in stock, nor any timescales. 2 star review based on - website incorrectly showing an item in stock when it's not, taking payment for a product they don't actually have, poor communication about the state of the order/when the item is available to collect. Wanted to try to support an independent camera shop, but would probably consider elsewhere given that the experience wasn't what I had expected.

  I had a phone call with them asking whether they do repairs on my camera and they gave me super helpful advice and saved me a lot of trouble. Edit: Also got a Canon AE1 Program and an FD lens from here and the camera is working in perfect conditions.

  This company is a joke. I paid over $3,000 for a new camera. The packaging and all the parts inside were open. Crumpled instructions. Visible dirt on the lens. I sent them pictures, so far no reply. Luckily I bought it with financing (pay monthly) and I believe it will help me cancel my contract.

  I have had amazingly good service form Park Ave Cameras. The 2 binoculars I bought arrived safely well packed and in time for Christmas. The team had three telephone conversations with me and explained the 10x32 10x42 the differences pros and cons, essentially how to understand binoculars. I will certainly purchase another pair from them and camera equipment as well.

  I would highly recommend that anyone in Manhattan with an interest in photography should visit this shop. There is a good range of new and used lenses for various brands and cameras at different price points. There are also various accessories available including some lighting, bags and tripods. However what really sets this shop apart are the staff who are knowledgeable, friendly and don't aggressively upsell. Christopher listened to what I was after and provided great insight and advice. Specialist photography shops are not that common and this shop is a gem

  After reading the reviews I was very worried ordering with these guys. But I have to say my experience was great. The tracking number does take 4-7 days to be sent to you and a next 3-6 days for your product to be delivered. I sent a few emails to them regarding my order & they were very helpfully & replied within a 2 hour span every time. I am based in the uk by the way, I hope this helps!

  Camera is not working i feel very bad about writing it, because all of other reviews are so nice and lovely my experience with Park Ave cameras was kinda good, fast delivery even during US holidays, i got a free shipping to Arizona (the price of the body was $124 and they payed $13 for delivery, which sounds weird for me but anyway its their choice), packaging was really good. I bought Yashika TL electro (body only) in description they noticed that only the light meter is not working. When i received the parcel turned out that not only light meter is not working but mirror stuck in up position, shutter blades and shoot button are not working properly. I texted Park Ave cameras about this, they asked about photos and thats it, they are not replying anymore.

  Great company and customer service, ordered myself a new tripod via them and arrived in 2 days. The only issue that I do think could possibly be fixed is packaging such as a box, this is instead of the black bag that wrapped my new tripod. At least there was a large amount of bubble wrap around the box and the bag. That is the only thing that they could improve on; other than that great and will definitely recommend.

  I called multiple stores looking for a specific DSLR that was out of stock everywhere else, and I was able to find it in stock at Park Ave cameras. The store is 9 hours away from me but I needed the camera within the next 2-3 days. I called and spoke with Alex, who was extremely helpful. I ended up ordering both a camera body and a lens online. After I placed my order, Alex helped me calculate the estimated arrival date of my items and gave me pricing on expedited shipping. My online order was promptly shipped and I was able to track it. I would recommend Park Ave cameras to any photographer who needs equipment promptly. I will be using this store for all my future camera purchases!

  Ordered on the Thursday received my lens Saturday, even though i was told it would arrive the Monday glad to get it earlier excellent quick service. It seems Park Ave Cameras have improved their overall service, now using FedEx to deliver, cannot ask anymore than that. Bought loads of camera equipment over the years and have to say very pleased with the service. The lady i spoke to was very friendly and helpful well done, keep up the good work.   Great online experience It was my first purchase of a mirrorless and after careful research and good advice from the pros at Park Ave cameras I decided to invest in the Canon EOS R, along with the lens kit and other items. I love the camera so far, and it's so easy to use. Highly recommend park Ave to anyone purchasing audio, video and electronic gear!

  D-750 with a 200-500 F5.6 Great camera at a sweet price! I bought the Nikond750 on a Park 24 hour sale and I am pleased with it. I rated this 5 out of 5 because it seems well made, a bargain (if you get one on a Park's 24 hour sale), and it exceeds my expectations for lightness and being compact.

  Ordered online. In stock, same day dispatch, arrived the next. Great price too. However, In store, the staff won't let you look at goods before buying. They make you buy the goods, then stand in the shop and open the box, and then give a refund or exchange if it's not right. Also, they get annoyed if you wish to pay them and leave without giving your name, address and email address. I get that they want to build customer lists, but they should just accept the cash and say thank you.

  Brilliant service and lovely staff, both in person and on the phone. It is hard to recommend this place too highly. I had a great experience buying a new M body and second hand lens from them, including great service on the phone afterwards helping me set things up. Absolutely first class all round.

  This review comes all the way from Australia. I have to say Park's customer service is truly World class. Easy to order and fantastic open and prompt communication on every stage of the delivery process from Manhattan, New York to Sydney Australia. Which only took 10 days. The goods arrived well protected and in first class condition thanks also to DHL couriers. What a product!!! I photograph weddings, film weddings, and do commercial video production. I've been only shooting with R5 for a couple of weeks so I'm still learning - switching from Nikon to Canon is challenging, however, love the results in every setting I've tried so far! Thanks Park Ave Cameras' and Canon, the reason I purchased this was due to a favourable review on the Photography life website. Based on this example you can believe every word of their reviews

  I wouldn’t repair my camera here unless you have a very very expensive camera. Their prices are exorbitant. I also feel they don’t actually check the camera before quoting. I understand that they are a camera repair shop in Manhattan and that could contribute to the high fees along with not a lot of competition for analogue repairs. But I spoke to other camera repair shops around the city and they said those prices are obscene. Also the fact that they are quoting me for things my camera I know doesn’t need makes me feel like they are taking advantage of people. Go to camera repair workshop US, way more helpful and affordable.

  Exemplary customer service received after buying a Peak Design pack in store and later found it was missing a detachable storage strap. I was kept updated regularly by email without once having to chase and have received the strap direct from the supplier after a few weeks.
