  This is the best Photography shop in New York! I purchased my first point and shoot from here, even though I was on a shoestring college budget the staff gave me all the time they had! Talked me through everything and helped me choose. They have a huge range of bridge/superzoom and I WILL be going back to buy my next upgrade. Thanks to Christopher and Scott for all the help!

  It's a great shop, the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, great selection of professional cinema drones and equipment. We recently purchased our xFold rigs Mapper X12 Dodekacopter from PAC, no pressure selling and we ended up with a superb bird for GoPro. I've also just had my 5+ year old drone serviced and rotor system fixed, I'm not sure the my old drone ever worked quite as well as it does now, superb job thank you. I thoroughly recommend this shop and the drone experts!

  The Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 DG DN is the staple of the photography world. This lens is ideal for your wide angle landscape shots, portraits, and everything in between. Love the lens, it's great for an every day carry! Park Ave Cameras made me love the lens even more with it's smooth delivery process and didn't run into any problems!

  I purchased this Sirui K-40X Ball Head about a year ago. I was initially thrilled at how sturdy it felt and held even a pro DSLR with wide angle zoom heavy lens on it, but after a year it developed imbalance in the pan axis. I tried to get service/support from their salesman who wasn't of any help. I now have a Manfrotto ball. I liked the initial product design and quality but will never buy a Sirui product so long as the present distributor is in place. The warranty is worthless.

  I was in the market for a couple telescope eyepieces, so I went to Park Ave Cameras and spoke to Christopher. He gave me a competitive price that I couldn't refuse. If you see better prices on eyepieces online, be sure to check with Christopher to see what he can do. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back.

  Purchased two TG-6 at fair prices. Staff are amazing and special thanks to owner Alex and sales rep Jacob for their assistance. FedEx delivery was delayed but they were quick to call and follow up to notify once in transit. Very costumer centered business. This place also has awesome selection/inventory. Cannot recommend this place enough! Best place to acquire cameras/lenses in New York.

  I bought a selfie stick and a lens add-on from an online store without realizing that the store is located in New York. I received a kind contact that I would like to pay shipping or pick up the products I ordered from the store.   The only photography I have done prior to stumbling on this camera store was through my iPhone. I spoke with a girl the other day who was just lovely was super informative and helpful! She just made my experience the best! The Canon EOS 250D is simple to use but also has settings that give you the freedom of creativity if you dare to explore. I'm learning so much while immersed and producing some beautiful photos. The professional photographer recommended this and I've gotta say I'm glad I went for it because it's worth every penny.

  This place is a real treat to have in the heart of New York. They have a wonderful staff, they're very service-oriented and they have a surprisingly large and diverse selection for virtually every price level. Their rental process is simple, well priced and easy and they take requests from non NY residents. They also offer a simple and easy trade in service for those that want to do that before they buy a camera as partial payment. I think anybody that visits Park Ave Cameras will be very pleasantly surprised a truly excellent business.

  Bought two lenses yesterday (Lensbaby Velvet 56mm f/1.6 and 85mm f/1.8). Christopher is very patience and helpful. Spent 20 minutes explain pros and cons. After showing them online price is a little cheaper, owner willing to compensate with free Hoya 62mm polarizer... very kind of them. Definitely will buy from them vs online stores.

  I called Christopher a couple of weeks ago and instead of the usual rush to get a customer off the phone, we had a nice conversation and he answered all my questions abut EOS M6 Mark II. Today, I made my first trip to Park Ave Cameras and it won't be my last. My wife and I got a friendly greeting as soon as we walked-in and only had to wait a few minutes before starting the purchase process. Great service!   I have only used 72mm Tiffen filter is superb in quality and craftsmanship a couple of times. I shoot in a lot of harsh sunlight on a Tamron lens. The price was great and Park Ave Cameras always make my purchases quick with fast delivery.

  Awesome shop! I found the place after watching a YouTube video and bought a Pentax Q Series-Pentax Adapter Q on the same day. The shipping to Calgary was quite fast, which was important to me since it arrived right before my trip to Poland. The portrait in my living space was taken with this Pentax and the image is super sharp :)

  This review is related to the website service. My package that I sent to trade in some camera gear took more than one month to get to them.   We walked in to get information about a point& shoot model we were interested in. Christopher took the time to go through them all and had a huge input helping us decide which camera we wanted. A while later, when we were ready to make the purchase, Christopher helped us with lenses and accessories. Great service from both staff members.   This is an incredible shop. They have a vast selection of cine cameras & lenses, bought a Sony FX3 Full-Frame on a Saturday and it arrived after two days in pristine form. It is impossible to look at everything in one visit. I have been there twice and will have to go back a few more times at least. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When they made up my bill they rounded it down in my favor.

  I purchased the FZ1000 from PAC a couple of days ago. Its an excellent camera. It does have a remarkable, sharp lens. With its 25 to 400mm range and close up focus, its the only camera we now carry for daytime travel shooting. I used it primarily for work projects and photographing animals. When it came time to upgrade to a camera with more zoom capability and better video, I opted for this camera store- and I couldn't be more pleased.

  I really liked this Sigma 24-70mm F/2.8 lens for the 48 hours after purchase until I noticed dust beneath the front element. I've had the lens serviced and cleaned by Park Ave Cameras (SIGMA authorized service center). They cleaned the inside of the lens and after using it again heavily for 1 day this past weekend, it is crystal-clear behind the front element. They know what they are talking about and are willing to share their knowledge.

  Was in the market for a perfect hybrid camera for Genera Photography. I researched all the camera offerings out there and arrived at the simple conclusion that the Sony A7RII is the best camera, greatest features and exceptional quality that I have experienced.   It is quite OK. They are in business for many years and one can find quite a lot for standard needs. Knowledge level of staff is variable, I was served by gentleman who was trying to be helpful but some knowledge could be improved indeed. In general I can recommend this place - possibly it will satisfy your needs unless you are picky professional.

  Brought Nikon D850 for sensor and ''spring'' cleaning. They have done good job. Only for the price they could take an extra effort and clean lens filter, screen and viewfinder as well. Perhaps blow the outer surfaces with some compressed air. This little extra work would make me feel more satisfied with their services.

  Nice and modern interior design of the store delicately sculpted together with pleasant and very willing people will create a good feeling for you.   Good experience. I bought a Nikon D610 and Canon D80; they arrived promptly, were well packaged and in good condition relative to the online descriptions. Prices for used film cameras are on the rise at the moment and Park Ave Cameras are pricing their cameras very fairly in that market. Will definitely use again.

  This Canon Extender is A must for wildlife photographers!!! Works fabulously with version II super telephoto lenses - I have used this with Canon 80D and 100-400. AF speed is great, superb details & sharpness. This is a great accessory when you need to get that extra reach. Well-balanced offers, variety of choices for high-end clients as well as amateurs.

I bought from Park Ave Cameras multiple times now (happy return customer!) and products come as described (generally better!). I'm in N.Dakota and they ship fast in 1-2 days and is very careful with packaging. I've a lot more confidence in buying from them than other websites. Will recommend them!!

  I have had several lenses, accessories and a Nikon FM3a from Alex Kaufman and his small team. His descriptions on the website are accurate and can be relied on, he prices fairly, his shipping rates aren't over the top and I have been happy with everything I have bought from PAC. And you get a small packed of sweeties and a hand written with compliments note in each order, something that reflects an old fashioned level of service from a young, energetic team.

  A real gem of a place in one of New York's most iconic buildings. Recently sold a tripod and a camera stand for it and the owner gave me a very good price for them. I will be returning to buy some special effects lenses shortly. Very good customer service but does need a better website which is coming shortly, I believe.

  I've been shopping with them for years. I bought all of my Sigma Cine Lenses and recently my Sigma 24mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime from them. Top class service and the best prices. I wouldn't think of shopping anywhere else. The best online retailer out there. US based, a human on the end of the phone and a lot longer warranty than Sigma offers.   The staff are laughing and joking, and one guy was constantly swearing. I know this is a photography shop but there were kids around. The staff didn't know much about their camera stock, and were just salesmen. They couldn't care less about imaging.Not worth your time and effort

  Surprisingly low prices for photo - video accessories. (In my case, 3 backpacks, 2 spools, Rode VideoMic Pro+) items cheaper by almost half compared to the online sellers. To this very willing and communicating dealer, who actually advised, helped and even presented the possibilities of lighting and filters. (Evidently a photographer in his element). Great satisfaction.

  I recently purchased an Olympus EM1 MK2 from Park Ave Cameras. After a few months I began encounterin problems with the camera. I contacted Park Ave Cameras, and they confirmed that the camera was still under warentee, they advised me to send it to their warehouse in New York. The camera was returned within 14 days fully repaired at no cost. Excellent service from high street shop.

  I was skeptical at first because of how good the price was, what can I say but WOW!! Excellent service from the moment I placed my order to receiving my Sigma dp0 Quattro body with LVF-01 LCD viewfinder kit. Communication was first class, I ordered on the Monday and received it on the Thursday. My Quattro also came with a 3 year warranty, I will 100% be shopping with these guys again!!!

  Bought Nikon D750 with 24-120 f4 and Nikon AF-S 50 1.8 g. All were brand new and working at full throttle. A great place for Grey imported photographic gear with lots and lots of savings. 3 years warranty for refurbished camera body is a added bonus; though didn't get a chance to test their after sale services. Sad that they no longer selling Nikon USA products; highly recommended.

  My go-to store for professional camera-gear. Where other big retail stores miss expertise and help for selecting new gear, I can really find this very honest advice at Park ave cameras, even if it is AGAINST themselves (let's say an upgrade is not really necessary, they tell you).   Bought a Tiffen 82mm filter, works well in light but the dark spectrum is littered by weird streaks and murky notch that slices through the frame causing constant annoyances. I had to resort to my variable ND filters, they allow me to focus on a large aperture such as 1.4/24fps frame rate for darkness.

  An exceptional photography store. I've never come across a friendlier, more accommodating and helpful group of people than the staff at Park Ave Cameras. Alex, in particular, was really helpful in assisting me when I was looking for a Sinar A1 4x5 View Camera, but everyone in general made the shop a fun and welcoming place to visit. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

  Nice shop, nice people just leave to test anything for as long as you need, then there to help when you need them. Excellent range of beginner and professional cinema drones and quadcopters.   Tried using my equivalent Nikon lens with a vello adapter. Very limited applications. Park Ave Cameras have every mirrorless lens you can think of. This new Sony 70-200mm lens is outstanding. Better than I expected. Quality, rapid response - very accurate. Good decision.

  Bought Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f/2 Aspherical lens form Park Ave Cameras on Friday last week. Staff had time to talk after the transaction and the lens arrived Monday night all pristine.   Very bad, very poor customer support...Access and online sale was great but after about a week and a half of time my new Samsung N5300 32'' stopped working. I called Park Ave Cameras Customer Support and the agent made me feel guilty. After a few minutes of the call, he said it's over warranty period. Here is a number for Samsung call them for service. I viewed the new tv several time before it went under the wrecking ball. Expected more from Park Ave Cameras.

  My partner and I visited this place twice recently in order to investigate his interest in Macro Pinhole Photography. The gentlemen who oversaw the shop were both very helpful and knowledgeable. One of them demonstrated a Sony a7iii, utilizing digital technology to create pinhole pictures using the camera’s EFV and LCD. Both times my partner was encouraged to spend time trying out and becoming familiar with the technique he was interested in. Good people. Knowledgeable, warm, and funny. Thanks!

  Just picked up a new Sony A7C from the Park Ave Cameras warehouse show room. Was a little tricky to find, but once you get inside there is a huge range of gear all at a great price. Alex, the owner was helpful in choosing the right camera, and selected a better compact full-frame without sacrificing performance, saving me about $500! Cheers Guys.

  This place I love for bringing my son to. He's just at the age where he's learning to love the concept of astronomy and in this place the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to share everything they know and the telescopes are encouraged to be used (and they are all in tune). This harkens better with me than the well trodden Wall Street haunts.
