  Couldn't be happier, amazing low light video! This JVC GY-HM180 is a great camera to use if you are into low-light occasions. I have used this camera at a church event. The audio on the camera works well. I like it a lot. Ease of use and high end options for sound, this is a steal for the money!

  You're dealing with the owners who have been in the digital business since the internet revolution began. Their knowledge on all things digital photography is astounding and the all important aftercare is second to none. If you're not that photo savvy, like me this is incredibly important because when something goes wrong you become their priority and they don't stop until they've got you up and running again. You don't get that type of service when you buy on line! Highly recommend.

  I purchased through Park Ave Cameras last week, I was able to confirm through their Live Chat that this is the local version of the camera with Manufacturer-backed warranty, made the purchase, and received the camera next day with no shipping cost, and received the correct item.   I bought a Fuji X-t4 recently, so I bought it a little cheaper because it was an exhibition product, but thanks to Alex, I was happy to shop. He cleaned the sensor a few days later and it was quick and friendly. Thank you Alex and friendly staff. Good service.

  Recently purchased a Pentax 4X20 VD WP 3-in-1 Binocular, they came reasonably quick however found the case to be split. I couldn't get a new one unless I sent the old one back and it cost $70.00 in shipping! And I still haven't received the new one yet. Normally, you would think a company like this would send one out right away without asking for the old one back first. Now I'm out of pocket for something that isn't my fault. The binoculars are good but the case is poorly made for the money that they are.

  Very knowledgeable and super helpful staff!! I messaged Park Ave Cameras and got a response almost immediately despite it being late in the evening. I have no experience of purchasing telescopes and although I had done some online research. I was still finding it difficult to find something suitable or feel confident enough to make a purchase. I wanted to be sure I wasn't purchasing an expensive 'Cassegrain' and the telescope would ensure the breathtaking views of the heavens. Anne offered me very helpful advice based on her own experiences of the equipment and vast knowledge of the items they stock. Anne also provided me with some advice on avoiding polluted cities. I left the shop feeling very confident with my purchase, despite my complete inexperience in the world of Astronomy and Astrophotography.

  I used the Park ave cameras web site to zero in my search for my dedicated pair of binoculars. The web chat service was a good experience, my questions were answered leaving me with a choice of 2. I contacted the store and arranged to visit where Anne allowed me to try out both before deciding and purchasing to take away with me. Park ave cameras were recommended to me by a relative, and I will be recommending them to anyone I know who is looking for binoculars. Needless to say I am very pleased with my purchase.

  Initially i ordered a used 40MP Leaf Credo Digital Back. When it came the touchscreen didn't work. I called PAC and told them the problem. I decided to buy a new one. They shipped it next day for free and gave me a little discount off the price! I fell like they value me as a customer and i will continue to shop at PAC for all my professional equipment needs.

  I arrived in Manhattan on a corporate tour and I was planning on photography much of the remarkable features of the city as well. I run out of film for my camera but I googled for a film supplier, Surely the greatest store in NY had film for my camera. I looked for several hours going into every camera shop I stumbled on. Finally, a young American inside a departmental chain told me about Park Ave Cameras just next-door. I headed for the shop immediately and they were a sigh of relief to my quench. I was so happy that I bought an entire box of Ilford 35mm Film. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

  Excellent company to do business with. Navigating the website was smooth and checkout was a breeze. My package was delivered very quickly and my camera and lenses were well packed for the trip. My biggest concern when ordering online is if the store had previously unpacked the boxes, but my new camera and lenses were received as if straight from the manufacturer. When shopping online, for me, there's nothing more assuring than opening a pristine camera or lens box. I will certainly shop at Park Ave Camera again.

  Great shop! Heaps to choose from with a variety of prices and still maintaining a good quality. We didn't feel pressured to buy anything but we were given plenty of helpful information to make a decision.   I am a landscape photographer living in SW Virginia, I bought a 6D MK 2, I’d highly recommend just Park Ave Cameras. I also bought a Sigma 70-300mm picked up tons of bells & whistles to quench my landscape photography addiction for years to come. Alex did a fantastic job. A lot of explanation and been helped well.   I'm a Park Ave Cameras' loyalist so I may be biased. I've been buying my concert and sports photography here. I shoot on a high profile level with previous body (1DX Mk II). Buying from PARK AVE CAMERAS is the only way to go. Purchase of the 1DX Mk III made in the afternoon and delivered by 10am the following morning. Focusing is fast and accurate. I've yet to use it at night but I know that the noise resolution is going to allow me to shoot using a higher ISO than usual. You always know you are getting the real deal when buying from here.

  I'm a paid photographer for insurance underwriters, I found this camera store to be perfect source for my professional looking photos. My Sony wx60 is good and this w830 is even better. The team at park ave cameras have so much knowledge. We went around three diff cam stores for the w830 and the right advice. I wish we had gone to PAC first. You must go here first for expert advice from real photographers.

  Alex is a great guy and very knowledgeable and passionate about 360° video cameras and is the best music pro video equipment in New York for prosumer cameras for engineering, real estate tours and architecture hands down. No where comes close to having a range as good as him. Highly recommended a visit but you might not want to leave there's that much to look at. At least there's a Restaurant next door for a lunch break.

  I ordered a Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord for my Pentax k-1 Mark ii and PENTAX-D FA* 85mm f/1.4 ED SDM AW lens. Order arrived in about a week. Unfortunately, the cord shipped was the wrong one. Customer service was very quick, within a couple hours, in resolving my issue. They checked with their Vello rep for stock, but it was no longer available. I was issued a refund for the item. The lens is working great. Overall my experience was very positive.

  A fabulous photographic experience. Loftily towering Empire State Building on the other corner! From this corner with Lexington Street it is a very pleasant, short local walk on the the borough of Manhattan, to gorgeous Park Ave boulevard. On the way you can admire some of the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers in New York. Enjoy! Recommend both uniquely New Yorker's experiences.

  I am an Insurance Attorney, company needed a camera and needed one quickly for photographing product related to claims. The ordering process was quick and easy and the camera was delivered the next. It takes superb pictures. Menus are easy to follow and set up was a breeze. Downloading pictures from the camera is simple as well. It is a great general purpose camera for the price that I paid.

  The Metabones Speed Booster ULTRA adapter converts my lenses to top-of-the-line lenses, but here's the gripe- you must have an expert dexterity to get the correct exposure out of your setup. This is designed for videos but not for pictures at all. I will rate them because it worked for videos, otherwise picture quality isn't crisp at all unfortunately :(

  Took my discovery 80 plus fuji camera in for a service and a bit of work. The guy was excellent - explained the process thoroughly, turned it around in one day and did a great job. After I’d neglected the camera for a year or so, it came up brand new and runs great - a really good price too. Can’t recommend enough. (Had to browse around the shop too - Amazing collection of film & cameras)

  I have made several online purchases through Park Ave Cameras and have been extremely satisfied each time. They have a website that is easy to use and accept PayPal as payment so purchasing items is done smoothly. Once they received my orders they shipped them out really fast. They have great customer support, on one of the orders there was an issue with the shipping (not their fault, it was the shippers error) and they worked to resolve it and my next order they remembered the error and used a different shipping company to avoid any other errors. Will continue to purchase photography gear from them and recommend Park Ave Cameras to anyone looking to purchase Camera equipment.

  Just had my X1D sensor cleaned up from Christopher at Park Ave Cameras. I have been shooting and serving my own cameras for over 25 years and I can fully recommend the quality of work that was done on my Christopher. He carefully tidied up full size sensors and the cropped sensor with distinct fluids. Yes, I had a dried rain drop on my X1D sensor. With considerable trepidation, I decided to try to clean it off myself but couldn't thoroughly clean the sensor and lenses. If you care for your Hasselblad piece of gear and like the image it makes then a service from Park Ave Cameras is totally recommended.

  I finally got a Nikon Df after years of bridge cameras and phone photography. This bundle came with 2 lenses, which is perfect for beginners. I'm able to take a variety of shots and figure out which range I like best. I know I would not have been satisfied with just one lens to begin with. I've been enjoying immersing myself in this hobby.   10 years later and I still feel like I'm Park Ave Cameras only customer. When shooting w/620 film is your passion it helps that they are also avid about the service and product range they sell. Its so easy to sell something but more difficult to sell confidence and assurance and thats what Park Ave Cameras do with ease and grace.   Park Ave camera is the best photo gear and video service you need for the following reasons: They deliver two or a day before you need it and their equipment is clean and in pristine shape. I purchased a used Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 lens and it was almost new and came in town with no faults. You always get what you order. Excellent customer service and always helpful.   I won't beat around the bush, this store is at the pricier end of the spectrum. Now, one can certainly buy drones cheaper on-line but one definitely cannot receive the level of advice and service the staff can offer. They are patient, knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble for them. You pay for what you get. You get quality and service here.

  Alex was really great to deal with. The 5D Mk iv kit worked out really well for our landscape shoot- and when Fed Ex messed up on our delivery but delivering to our neighbor instead- they immediately reimbursed the shipping costs, (return). I also forgot to return one part of the bag as it was left attached to my camera, and they not only didn't charge me - they sent me a n/c return label. I would highly recommend them!

  Park Ave Cameras is a great local shop. I went in there looking for a beast Canon 1D X Mark II for my wedding photography set up & the staff were very friendly. Gave great advice on comparable, allowed me to try various models & brands. Prices were also very fair. 10/10 will go again not only to support local but as a shop it's fantastic.

  I bought a Celestron 114LCM telescope for Easter. I've read all the paperwork and ready to trawl the world of stars. The reason for the 3 star rating is, is it's been raining and murky since the day I got it so I have no idea how it will work. I did however manage to align the astro-imager and eyepiece. I will obviously adjust my rating accordingly if it ever stops raining and the clouds part.

  I would of given 5 stars but they did not offer photography lessons (excusable due to covid but no webinar? 😉Christopher and Alex were great in helping me find things.   Just purchased a EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM, the longest telephoto lens among Canon's lineup, and a terrific choice for my wildlife and sports photography. Sports superior lens construction and USM for quiet, high-speed autofocusing. Thanks to Park Ave Cameras great customer service, I got the chance to test this lens by shooting the bears in Alaska July, 2020.

  Only place in Midtown Manhattan I trust with my negatives. Its very cool that they still develop film to such a first-rate level and hope they continue to do for years to come. Lovely , friendly staff every time. Can get busy but they always treat each customer very well. Also give awesome advice. :)

  Fantastic Mic. I took this into the sound room at PARK AVE CAMERAS superstore and listened to it next to the NTG4+ and they sound so similar. It was a toss up between the Rode NTG4+, but I don't like the idea of have a battery you can't remove. Definitely recommend going to their superstore if you live in the greater NYC area so you can listen to them through your own ears.
