  Brought my Hasselblad HC Macro 120mm f/4 II lens here 2 weeks ago ... very helpful, friendly and informed staff ... no hassle to buy or leave as was there about 3hrs and all correct information was given ... also made sure I left the store with exactly what I wanted and needed NOT just what they wanted to sell ... highly recommended as I will be returning again and again

  FIRST TIME CUSTOMER, experience from this team has been FIRST CLASS. I had placed an order for a camera, been helped through every stage of the process. I was informed very early on that the particular device will be available in April as they are awaiting a shipment from there supplier, they have gone above and beyond with incessant updates to get this in earlier. Happy to say it is now on its way to Michigan a few days earlier than expected. Top-class service and unbeatable customer services, I feel all involved did there absolute most. I will be returning for future purchases without a doubt.

  Great staff, first ever photo store filled to the top with Nikon! So i went to ask questions not to buy and staff seemed happy to help rather than reluctant to. There is also a wide range of Nikon that are well displayed as well as carrying cases, binoculars, accessories and gleaming lenses based on what you want. They also have a Hasselbald range so you can test your camera before you are sure you want to buy them. Summing up : Great store. Highly recommend for your first Nikon equipment shop visit.

  Only ever been once to collect a camera sent from another dealer because it was too far to collect. Considering I didn't spend much money with them, only a small admin fee and some accessories they were very professional and courteous. Cannot fault and would recommend others to shop here.

  On Saturday 20 June 2020 I took my Leica Q2 to Park Ave Cameras to have a modification done to it. The in-house camera-smith, Alex, completed the task quickly and with a thoroughly professional approach. He took the time to slough off the inner, more difficult to get to parts and then explained to me what he’d done in order to complete the modification. Having shot with my Leica today, Sunday 21 June 2020, I can honestly say that I didn’t think that I would be as delighted as I am with the outcome. So, thank you to all of the team at Park Ave Cameras for a great experience. Your attitude towards your customers is an example to all in the retail industry, especially when corona-virus precautions are being taken. All the very best. Nigel C.

  Great staff that are convivial, staff works finger to the bone and really know what they're doing. Went in 10 minutes before closing, and they completed a telescope assembly for me after hours. Very kind. Go back again due to staff and availability of equipment.

  Just got back from a 100 mile round trip to buy a VR Camera from these chaps All I can say is .....the welcome is warm, the prices are reasoned well and the service is superb !!   I've used Park Ave Cameras since the age of 16. I always find Alex and Scott very helpful and they hold a good range of stock at very reasonable prices. I recently bought a Canon EOS R5 camera with 24-105mm f/4L lens (new release, back-ordered) for my wife but it wasn't quite right. I called Dave and there was no quibbling, he told me to bring it back and he'd sort it. 2 days later, problem sorted. Service like it used to be. Always a shake of the hand and a "thank you for your business". Being treated like a valued customer is a rarity these days. Thanks guys!

  We bought a Leica XU Digital Camera Handheld Video Stabilizer from Parkavecameras and we love it so much. Again, we 👏🏼 love 👏🏼 it 👏🏼 so 👏🏼 much 👏🏼. And it’s thanks to these guys for recommending this model to us. We popped in, asked for advice for a suitable camera handheld gimbal for “a lazy beginner who wants an upgrade from the mirrorless camera and take it on the road into California.” Our budget was generous (it’s a milestone birthday gift for one of us and we’re not travelling anytime soon #thanksCOVID19). They recommended 4 different models - a cheaper version, the version we got, a similar version to the one we got and a more expensive version. We didn’t feel pressured to buy then and there, instead they armed us with the key features to consider (to match my criteria). I did my research for a month then called to ask a few more questions then for the CRANE-M2 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer from Zhiyun-Tech -it is designed for compact cameras, smartphones, and action cams up to 1.58 lb.. I called, and arranged delivery. Their transaction was expeditious, full of helpful knowledge and I never felt like I was in a fuss or nail-biting wait. They recommended filters too (highly recommend that kit too) . The gimbal is so easy to use and perfect for what we need. We’re really happy with the price, the service, the products (gimbal and accessories kit) and the universe for being so beautiful. Thank you to the team at Parkavecameras! 🌟 ✨🌕🌌🔭❤️

  The staff is extremely helpful, experts in the field and therefore their knowledge is vast and accurate, like their products. We were helped by a man who was overflowing with vast expertise from his lengthy use of optics/telescopes. His help, guidance and demos helped us pick the right product. While he was helping us a young lady was helping another customer and she also knew every product, and everything about them, with the same knowledge, and that knowledge surpasses a product.   If you need an efficient and thorough cleaning service, Park Ave Camera is the place to get it done.   Awesome place with everything you possibly can search for concerning photography. Incredibly friendly, helpful and competent staff. Got there with a little sensor spot on my Leica T digital camera (Typ 701) and they removed it in a minute without even wanting money for it.

  I purchased a Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 a few weeks ago from Craig at the Park Ave Cameras and received great service! When most other retailers didn't even keep a usable battery rendering the display camera unusable, at the store I received a detailed demo of all the new features and very helpful advice on upgrading my camera gear.   Craig and the Team at Park Ave Cameras' restoration skills are awe-inspiring, they brought many of our very old and damaged special Family photos back to life, even re crafting our Grandmother's face in an exclusive photo. Photos now since being restored, will be able to stand the test of time.

  If you want anything photography related, check out Park Ave in NY. Car, home, personal. Fantastic knowledgeable service, great quality products.   The staff are friendly and helpful. They have staff who specialize in different camera types so ask for them if you want specific info or an honest review about cameras. The shop doesn't move merchandise around so it's easy to find things if you are a repeat customer. They guarantee their prices to be the lowest and they have some great specials.

  I ventured into Park Ave Cameras the other day to inquire about a pair of binoculars for my grandfather i was greeted by a lovely tall gentleman by the name of Craig i believe. (Apologies if that's not his name). He gave me all the information fast and efficiently. He should be considered a Manager role with his skill and ability. 10/10 service.   Pretty good shop, don't expect to just walk in there and get a good deal. Do your research though and it will be very cheap. Best photography store in NY, only in front of K&M Camera because of them having more stock. Fun place to go to see if you like something or not, and if also fun to just look at the cool stuff they have.

  The store everyone of us needs to buy our photo-related gear. I have no idea why people would buy overseas to save a few bucks when they have what we need on a good price, especially on the plenty of specials. Knowing the owners makes me a bit magnanimous. Nonetheless, their warehouse style concept of selling cameras would give Amazon in the US a run for their money. They clearly haven't set up shop here. Park Ave Cameras is probably thankfully responsible for the demise of electronic retailing. Who needs generic electronics or one of the other chains, if you can buy at Park Ave Cameras. I would just love to be locked into this sea of equipment for a night. Yeah a Five star for a camera store. Here it is.

  Good range, good prices, knowledgeable geeks. I get most of my camera stuff from Park Ave Cameras. Difficult to get on the phone though. Better to try and avoid peak retail hours, there are a lot of things to see, so you'll want to take your time.

  The best camera shop I've ever been in - bar none - and I've spent my life in and out of enthusiast stores like this. The service is excellent (they really know their stuff) and the range of goods on offer is incredible. Their prices are often the best in town as well, making them the full-package.   In my opinion the best photography store in the greater New York region. I always go to them first to check out range and prices for items that I want to purchase. They will always do a deal on pricing if you ask. Very helpful and usually knowledgeable staff - some who have been there for years and really know how to support a customers needs. Easy parking in a central parking area the on the southern edge. Have purchased quite a range of darkroom chemicals and ancillary supplies from here over the years for my studios, family projects and sub-contractor shooting and have always been very satisfied with the goods, prices, staff interaction and overall experience in shopping.

  The only camera store that still has 35mm film in the refrigerator. And all of the price tags are handwritten. But make no mistake: these people know their stuff. The store is run by family photographers with a vast wealth of camera dexterity. All of them are absolutely delightful and knowledgeable. Mr. Sloane even recommended we try the store down the street, which was having a going out of business sale, to see if we could find a better price! We ended up buying a Lee Filter system from the store and I felt almost like I had to talk them into my buying it because they were so the opposite of pushy salespeople! If I wasn't in a rush, I would have stayed here all day. And while I was there, it seemed that locals did stop by just to chat because it is such a pleasant atmosphere. If you are ever in New York and in need of photography equipment or advice, stop by this place just for the extremely pleasant conversation and experience. :)

  A phenomenal selection of cameras and lenses, magnificently illustrated to the customer and elevated by first-class service at a reasonable price. Park Ave Cameras stands in stark contrast to the needlessly far more pricey (up to 30%), ostentatious and irritatingly claustrophobic B&H and Adorama. The team in here is congenial, prompt and calmly exhibits exceptional knowledge as they are able to guide you through the large arrays of equipment, expertly focusing on options that best suit your needs and wants while never making the space feel as small as it is. If I have to spend money on photography, I do it here and nowhere else in New York.

During covid19, I ordered a high-performance Nikon printer, when it was delivered I noticed that the box was damaged during shipping therefore I have contacted Park Ave Cameras to sort that out.   This morning, I was very well helped with the purchase of a camera. The salesman was friendly and knowledgeable, knew exactly the right questions to help me with my choice and showed me several options and try. After purchase I found out that the additional warranty I had purchased in the webshop was included in the price. Upon request, I was immediately promised to refund the amount to my account.   Fantastic service. I accidentally walked into this camera store in enroute to Manhattan. Here, because I probably wanted to buy a Fujifilm camera, I was directed to the Fujifilm expert on the second floor. I was kindly helped, all my questions about the camera were answered calmly and clearly and all this was not aimed at selling something (expensive) quickly. Finally decided the same day to order the camera. The delivery time would be a little longer than usual, but I was perfectly informed about the status of the order, very nice! When I got the camera, I received a nice book, and I just like to know that I can go somewhere (nearby) for unexpected problems with the camera. Recommended!

  Finally a site where everything is well regulated. You can order something until very late and it will still be delivered the next day. The site is well organized and this is all well-oiled and quickly. The information shown is very crystal clear and you can add to the cart the items you find important on the left. This allows you to search in a very specific method and you eschew having to sift through many pages to narrow down your product. If you have found something you can easily order it, pay (online/credit card/PayPal) and have it delivered. You can do anything without first having to create an account again, I find it so pleasant myself. You will immediately receive an email with what you have ordered and you will be kept well informed of when your order will be delivered. I have been coming to Park Ave Cameras for years and if they continue like this it will certainly remain that way for years. In my opinion a must-visit.

  Park Ave Cameras is a place where I used to go with my father as a young boy for the purchase of audio instruments and cameras. Nice place to look around and the sale is correct. Very customer-friendly and technical information is at a high level without the feeling that you have to buy immediately. Price technically fair level and you do not have to ask for a discount as it will come with it in its own time. My dad first bought me a nice blue-ray player Easy to install. With supplied user manual penned in English. You can view it via the internet, but the product should just be supplied with a English-language user manual! After having installed a number of DVDs, just good images, clean and clear colors. Price Quality ratio is good.

  I only started shooting after a trip to Africa but I'm a bit of a photography nut, and so I was already delightful with my impromptu shopping visit.   My daughter was completely stuck to the ground ogling their awe-inspiring display of analog cameras when the owner approached her and said, "in case you want to get a closer look at the camera, just point it out and I'll retrieve it for you. But you don't have to buy it, I'll steer you to contrast multiple options". With much keenness, he then had a prolonged discussion with my daughter, child-friendly, courteous and jovial. We left the store with a Zeiss Ikon Nettar Camera a huge smile on my daughter's face as he proclaimed, "What an amazing day!".

  Great shop for amateurs and professionals. Brilliant selection and they have the top of the range too. Not only that, they know what they are trading. Also many activities to help you hone your skills. Bought several cameras here and am glad with them. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. You might find lower prices occasionally but being helped by people who know what they are talking about and can explain how a camera works to you is worth the difference. It’s the difference of being recommended a camera that fits your needs & budget vs. getting the camera with the highest bonus pushed. They also rent equipment if you need something special occasionally. One of the few remaining specialist shops with competent staff.
