  Excellent Telescope for the Serious Astronomer! When shopping for the Meade LX85 Catadioptric telescope I looked at a number of local as well as online retailers. I have always found that Murphy's Outlet offers excellent prices as well as delivery. This particular package included that 8x50 Finderscope and eyepieces was a great value. 8x50 finder makes it easier to hunt faint objects without back and neck strain for astronomers of all levels. I have used for a number of years and getting an additional barlow lens with the telescope sold this package.

  Amazing treatment and great attitude from the guys at Murphy's Outlet. I have purchased a Nikon D5600 with 18-55mm lens bundle and a 64GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC memory card. As a newbie I did lot of research prior purchasing, however I still had lot of grey areas. Andrew and Luke gave me exceptional care and personal advice.   Loving my new Olympus E-M1, II, Purchased this camera after having used its big brothers, the EM-5 and EM-1. Olympus has never disappointed me, though the EM-1 ii has tons of features than I could ever use. But then again, so does the EM-1. Great camera and easy to carry due to its size. Also, a shout-out to Murphy's Outlet. Ordered one day, and it was in my hands the next. Incredible service!

  It's a good shop. One of the better ones along Lexington St, NY. Knowledgeable people, but they don't seem to want to help you, they just want you to buy and leave. Also they aren't that beginner friendly, meaning that when I bought a camera, they said ... "Oh ... you're trying photography as a hobby...". It was said in such a way that I was going to quit, or it was a fad or something and I'll be back to sell the camera. A year later, I'm still doing it, but I won't buy gear or LENS from there.

  I really like this camera outlet overall. Have purchased my Sig 150-600. Have been giving it a solid work out. Lately bought a D500, for BIF, the frame rate is nice. DX format is a phenomenal weight-saver. So sensible and easy to control! Overall, feel Murphy's Outlet pricing is competitive and they deliver consistently and quickly. Not my first transaction with Murphy's Outlet and they continue to give me no reason to go elsewhere; no hesitation to recommend them.

  This is a complicated answer. The staff including Luke and I believe the owner Andrew were very helpful. However waiting for the Lens Panel Dedicated to WDS/WRS Cameras that I ordered to be delivered was quite frankly a nightmare. That I put more I Cambo than on Murphy's Outlet. I would like to a lot more however if they would have kept my expectations set properly. However if you are looking for a one stop shop to get everything you ever need for macro or wide ange-lenses this is it.

  Wanted to share my experience from today with Murphy's Outlet. I have an Olympus M.Zuiko 300mm f/4 IS PRO Lens, that had some sand in the ED elements. I brought it in thinking I'd have to pay the $100 for someone to give me some expensive estimate costing half or more of what I paid for the lens, but to my surprise the person at the counter spruced it for me within a couple of minutes and rectified the issue for FREE. The fact that they were knowledgeable enough and KNOWLEDGEBALE enough to do this and save me money, especially for a small local startup, during Lockdown times was very assuring. I definitely feel confident with Andrew and his crew after this and have had bad experiences with other small businesses bringing things in for repair with inflated charges.

  Been a customer of this shop for the past twenty years. Have always found them helpful and friendly. I was keen to try out a Nikon D5600 DX for dental surgery at our clinic but couldn't drive due to duty reasons. The staff offered to deliver them to my door to keep for a few days. Superb service. Unfortunately I discovered the clinic needs more specialization than this Nikon can deliver. On calling them the staff once again were extremely understanding stating it was not a problem, they would pick them up. It's a shop I will happily return to should I wish to test or to purchase anything further. Great service all round.

  Absolutely delighted with the attitude and knowledge of the staff today. We had bought a BM Television Studio & EFP Camera which did not work well in low light, even with a 2.8 lens. However, we put the camera up close or control lighting) spoke to two members of staff that were ready to help. They even called back to say they had looked at something online that may help. Subsequently camera is up and running and the first church live streaming last Sunday was incredibly amazing!!!!

  I'm so glad I discovered Murphy's Outlet! The staff are highly knowledgeable and delighted to back up their opinions and tastes with extensive demonstrations. Manager Andrew spent hours with me going through different tripod heads in comparison to my own (having let me bring in my own camera, lenses and add-ons to experiment). I was able to see what you get for your money and justify the differences in price between models. I eventually opted for the Linhof 3D Micro pan/tilt head which was a huge jump up from my existing Manfrotto unit. I also got my 15 year old a brownie Target six 16 serviced for a great price and it's better than it's ever been! Don't go anywhere else for your 828 or 116 film stuff - from low to mid to high end, everyone is catered for.

  Totally delighted! Andrew & Luke couldn't have been more helpful & knowledgeable. For me what's important is the camera arrived in pristine, brand new condition from NY to VA. So hats off to Murphy's Outlet. I love the vari-angle screen for portrait and low angle shooting, the 6D Mark II is a truly visceral experience. Battery life is astounding (thanks OVF). My son was so impressed that he also bought a 6D Mark II. Definitely buy your DSLR Canon cameras from this shop.

  Purchased the the 50-140mm lens, but it wasn't long enough, had to re-order the Fujifilm XF 1.4x teleconverter. The reason for the 3 star rating, is the preposterous pricing. For me, the 50-140mm should come with the teleconverter at the price they charge for the lens. To make the 50-140mm useful for me, I had to spend $2k. That's a large amount of money for a non-Leica lens.

  Fantastic service from the team at Murphy's Outlets. Popped in with a problematic shutter release, asked if anything could be done about it, someone was straight onto the job and I was out the door 10 minutes later. No charge either!   Excellent backpack for hiking with cameras! Written for: MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack ( Green) I usually carry two cameras with me. My landscape camera and my wildlife camera. As you can expect, my wildlife camera's lens is very substantial. I can fit both my cameras in this bag along with accessories. It is very sturdy, superb ergonomics over chest and around the waist so there is very minimal movement.

  Bought a HERO8GoPro kit. lots of value added the camera is great for my needs. Motorcycling, skateboarding, auto sport, and even dialogue heavy short films. what im REALLY excited about was this kit that Murphy's Outlet put together to make sure you have everything you need to get shooting. its far superior than the proprietary kit or any of the kits gopro offers from their website in terms of number of add-one.

  I bought a Sony A8H 65" about 2 months ago and love the TV. No complaints. New TV was delivered and set up about 2 weeks ago. I was immediately blown away by the image quality!   I simply christened this MacBook Pro a thin beauty! It's light, starts upon opening the lid, and runs cooler than its bigger brothers. The images on its high-res display are rich and detailed. I am very pleased with the performance of this unit. After a difficult time trying to buy a new laptop since late September, including several returns, murphy's outlet customer service was exemplary in handling all my previous issues. The MacBook Pro arrived earlier than expected and with all the packaging in tact. Thanks murphy's outlet!

  There are scenarios where carrying around a tripod is stressful. I like this Manfrotto monopod because the aluminum structure is lightweight, yet mechanically stable once extended. It can extend to heights greater myself and packs down into a compact shape making it easy to carry. The carrying strap is a nice touch and the monopod comes with two tips. One tip is a metal point for stabbing into a surface and the other is a rubber tip for surfaces like floors. Finally, you can't beat the price for the quality of this monopod or service from Murphy's 🏪.

  The best and most knowledgeable underwater photo and video electronics shop in town. In fact, it is the ONLY underwater video shop in town. They have a great selection of camera housings, lens ports, and waterproof cams stuff. If its not in the store they can order it for you. Plus they have adorable dogs in the store!!!

  Specialist supplier of new and secondhand cameras, lenses and photographic equipment. Very helpful and resolute tech. I needed a can of compressed air to clear fungal depots from my camera lens. The virus has not stopped them offering the goods you need with helpful and inspiring customer service. Well recommended.

  Great experience at Murphy's Outlet. I went there to shop for a Leica SL2-S and was helped by Luke. He did an awesome job! Took the time to walk me through the details of the camera I was interested in. He was very knowledgeable, patient with my questions, professional and friendly. They have a great selection and variety of Leica cameras, from M, S, Q, CL & TL series to newly released Leica items. I look forward to going back.

  Murphy's Outlet have been amazing since they have helped me with fixing my great great great grandfather's old film camera and help me choose the right equipment and film. They also do a good film processing work. I would most definitely recommend these guys!!

  Went to Murphy's Outlet today with my son to look at Fuji gear on 02/03/2021. Was happy to say that the staff was knowledgable, pleasant, helpful, and polite. Prices were fair, there was adequate photo gear for multi brands including high end and lower priced bridge. Staff answered questions and had knowledge of cameras and lenses. We will be back and FUJIFILM X-Pro3 we bought comes with spare accessories. Thanks, Daniel Exton.

  We visited this shop with my son for a custom TV for visually impaired. Very friendly and thoroughly knowledgeable about TVs. Bought a VIZIO D Series HD Smart. It's a blind friendly TV!This TV is awesome! He received this as a birthday gift and it has been life-changing. It is the only TV that he confesses ever to have used without actually invoking my own without assistance.

  The lady that helped us was very knowledgeable, but most importantly they’re not taking advantage of their customers during crisis, and raising prices during COVID19 lockdown. Love this place and I’ll be a loyal customer always will be returning!!!

  Purchased this Nikon Coolpix B500 gift for my granddaughter. She's a VERY imaginative child who loves crafting photo and artistic presentations, but after watching her struggle with her tablet and wrestling with image settings, I decided it was time she had a dedicated tool for the job. It's the perfect size for small hand grips, easy to use and takes SUPERB shots. Love the versatility, m impressed with the quality of photos and the reach of the zoom on the camera... and more importantly, so does she.

  Modern, upscale outlet offering high-end cameras, related equipment, photography books & a photo gallery. I was so happy to grab the Murphy's Outlet offer on my Sigma fp Full-Frame 35mm including the lenses & truly it turned to be the best Camera I ever owned. I simply cant ask for any better & extremely happy with such an upgrade Strongly recommended for a camera as well as a photo store Murphy's Outlet to deal with Luke.

  While the image and audio quality of this VIZIO Full HD Smart TV are clean, I purchased it with the understanding it had all the apps listed and more. When I began scouring for the apps for the streaming services Im hooked to, I was disheartened to discover I couldn't add the Netflix and gaming apps. Streaming speed was tolerable but tied up my phone, which for me is not an option. Apple AirPlay 2 & Chromecast built-in never work as I had hoped. Had I known this, I wouldve bought a different TV - one better suited for the popular apps.

  Luke is a very friendly and congenial fellow, with a vast knowledge of cameras and lenses. He has been endlessly patient with me in walking me through the use my α7r ii and Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 lens. Luke is also very personable and knowledgeable, and together they make a solid team. This was my first venture into landscape/scenic/sunset photography, and they have made it a great experience.

  Murphy's Outlet makes shopping for pro video gear real easy. For me it was time to upgrade my old JVC GY-HM170UA camera for a JVC GY-HM250. Ordering was easy and it was promptly delivered. The quality of the HM250 and accessories kit is perfect. Would buy from Murphy's Outlet again over their competition.
