  Ordered a Tiffen 82CP, but it doesn't thread well onto the lens and binds/is hard to rotate once on there. Seems to fail on wider lenses by giving incoherent polarization across sky. I know this is an issue with wide angles, but particular filter was less than satisfying in comparison to the others I have.

  Top electronics store! perfect transaction, great service. Drone kit delivered to local dealer spot on time, rest of my items about two hours to my house whilst drooling :) over my new Mavic mini. Vanity Fair journalists also praised Murphy's Outlets. Highly recommended. Don't hesitate to buy from them

  Ordered a new Sony Alpha A7R IV. Great camera. I use this camera mostly for landscape, street photography and sometime sports. The a7R IV is a giant leap in dynamic performance. Even with adapted lenses, the new autofocus system works like a charm -- quick, accurate, and reliable. I would highly recommend these guys.

  Excellent service and advice, massive selection of cameras, we brought a OM-D E-M5 Mk iii and DJI Osmo Pocket both as vlogging kits, Andrew couldn't have been more helpful - thank you.   Needed help with choice of boating binoculars as a bit of a novice, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. The whole experience was enjoyable and educational. Would definitely recommend a visit.

  Have used Murphy's Outlets for years. Found out a long time ago it was not worth shopping around. Recently bought a pro level camcorder for a documentary on Human Evolution. Managed to damage it 4 days after leaving. The team at Murphy's Outlets went above and beyond to get a replacement in time.   Got a Canon 5D Mark IV for wildlife and landscape photography. My Favorite features include a 30.4-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with a Digic 6 processor (an improvement over the 22.3 megapixel count of the Mark III) and a 3.2-inch touch-screen LCD. I could not be happier with the 5D mk IV armed with a 24-105mm lens. The low level light performance is enthralling and the every day shots are crisp and clean. Thanks Murphy's for this piece of GEM!

  I only went in to Murphy's Outlets in downtown New York briefly to get what I was after but I was very quickly and politely greeted and asked if I needed any assistance. The staff member took me to where the product was in the store, had great knowledge of the product and answered all my questions with no issues. I certainly wouldn't hesitate and look forward to returning for anything else I need to purchase in the future.

  Andrew was very helpful and experienced with camcorders and emailed some precise insights about a Canon which he thought would suit me and in my price range. Still learning what it all means but will buy one from Murphy's Outlets NY because Andrew didn't just try to sell me a camera, he dissected every feature I would need for my purpose. Can't wait to kick off my short narratives...

  This is probably the best camera shop I've ever been to. The employee advised me with enthusiasm like I have never experienced before. He even advised against a purchase because the product is no good. When I asked why he had it in the store, the answer came: He ordered it wrong. It is really a nice little shop, which offers everything the photographer's heart desires. At the end even got 15% discount.

  I got the SONY Z90 as a companion to my PXW-Z150 so I can Live Stream to Facebook Live and YouTube live. Both cameras offer the same Single 1 Exmor RS CMOS Sensor, 12x Optical Zoom, UHD 4K up to 30p and XLR inputs for high quality audio. The Z90V brings new features such as Phase-Detection Autofocus (AF), 4K HDR with Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) and Super Slow Motion at up to 960 fps. While the Z150 still offers a larger form factor, which is something that I need for some shoots. Very good knowledgeable now there stuff highly recommended.

  Spoke to Andrew who provided great service. Came in with an issue that was promptly diagnosed and fixed with a recommended part that they had in stock. Was then helpful enough to give my friend who is just getting into photography some tips on how to start out. Fabulous experience, definitely recommend these guys!

  This store is EXCELLENT! All the staff have a passion for camera systems and are more than happy to talk to you about the ins and outs of different equipment. They don't pressure you to buy anything, instead they listen to what you need and recommend. I always feel welcome, and they always want to see your work and give great tips in how to improve your work. Could not recommend a more reliable store store

  I have purchased film/photo / services at Murphys Outlet. I have been a frequent customer for many years for film, develop/scan and accessories and I would say overall the staff are friendly. Andrew is really friendly and welcoming. Analog enthusiasts has that community feel to it. They carry every 120mm Film Type, Color Negative, Slide/Transparency, B&W Negative, B&W Chromogenic (C-41), and B&W Infrared.

  Small plentiful camera store that is an Aladdin's cave of exotic photo supplies. Tucked away on the thread from the outside, but packing in a load of camera treasure trove on the inside. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection of second hand gear and lenses as well as their new stock. Also accepts part exchange/trade in's of your old gear.

  Recently bought a mirrorless The Fujifilm X-S10, EF-FX Pro II Lens Mount Adapter and a ONA Bowery Camera Bag from these guys. I received fantastic service and very knowledgeable staff, who are only to willing to explain things to you and show you how they work. I couldn't rate this store or the staff more highly :-)

  Just purchased a Nikon camera for my wife as a Christmas present and I must say the service and price were perfect.   I've been buying my camera equipment from Murphy's Outlets in NYC over the last 7 years and have had first class service from them. Their prices are competitive and all of their used equipment has been thoroughly checked before going on display and comes with a warranty. If you see something advertised on line at their other shop in Manhattan they can normally get it sent over by the following day for you to take a look at. Great shop with very knowledgeable staff!!

  I went to the shop for the first time last weekend and i could immediately feel immersed into the Paradise of Cameras. The staff in there is so knowledgeable that you won’t encounter any problem in an attempt to elicit the necessary information you need about cameras, lenses, different brands etc. They guided me precisely into buy my first mirrorless camera and i will be back for every upgrade as i was not disappointed in any way.
