  The Pros - always great prices, great if they have stock on premises. I’ve bought quite a few items here with no issues whatsoever. The Cons - miscommunication on delivery time frames caused me a lot of anguish on an very expensive purchase. I felt this was done to not lose the sale and I felt taken advantage of and disrespected. The store looked after me at the end to make up for it which was appreciated.

  Recently purchased a Leica SL2 24-70mm f/2.8 lens (US/EU/JP) through Murphy's Outlet and couldn’t be happier with the service provided. Andrew and the team at Murphy's NY managed to get in the camera I was after in 24hrs and even stayed open late so I could collect it before my flight. Definitely will be revisiting the store and recommend to anyone!

  I had an amazing experience with Murphy's Outlet New York. I had a sales rep by the name of Andrew, he was extremely patient (I am very new and had many questions) and extremely helpful, he spent a lot of time explaining lens options and going back and forth with me and even allowed me to call back a few times with no fuss as I was checking things over with my partner. I got an amazing deal on the camera and lens options I chose, and my delivery has already been sent the very same day. He also was not pushy and he made me feel extremely comfortable with my purchase. Thanks so much Andrew for all your help and advice and guidance, I really really appreciate your time and efforts.

  Great customer service and support from the New York store, I called and checked that they had stock before placing an online order and it went very smooth. Called the online support team to check status of the order immediately and they had it ready for collection within an hour.   Got my Panasonic AG-CX10 Camcorder at a great price after searching and waiting for the price to drop. Wasn't in stock but I has happy to wait for it. Unfortunately can't say the same for my shotgun mic that was ordered on same day. Not their fault it wasn't in stock but the supplier took far too long and they quickly cancelled my order, transferred the money in quick time. Will definitely look to them in the future when I need more gear.

  Why would anyone go here instead of an independent retailer? Not only is this place more expensive for the same quality but the wait around time for photos getting developed is longer at Murphy's Outlet..? They used to offer free film and now they don’t for some reason. I demand a response Murphy's Outlet!!

  This outlet is so solid that I order here from Canada. Pricing is very consumer-friendly include duties and when I request for them to modify my order, it's always done within minutes and without hassle. I recently purchased a GoPro HERO8 black bundle here and it was in perfect condition, so I'm happy to purchase here again.

  I bought the kids two Canon PowerShot ELPH 180 for Xmas and one set stopped working. The staff managed to find my transaction despite me losing my receipt and giving them all all the wrong details to help them find it. They replaced the camera without fuss and my kid is really happy again. I'm impressed with the excellent staff and superb customer service.

  I got my Rode video mic pro shipped quickly but has serious downsides. Easy to apply settings, good sound overall for simple projects. The Mic. is not completely compatible using a cold shoe extension, its incompatible with the mic limiting the range of versatility. The battery door is so hard to operate. It's just a poor design. The barrel is so flimsy that it looks it will break very easily.

  These guys have cine-style lenses for every camera they sell, stocked on the shelf. They have plenty of people working so there's not much of a wait to see anybody for any of the times that I've come. Weekend included. Customer service is outstanding. My first transaction was denied based on on some sort of mix-up at the sales department. it was a long process that took a lot of extra money and about an extra two and a half months, but they were understanding and communicative with me the entire time. I feel like if I was a camera store owner I might feel a bit more inclined to the business of a customer by accommodating all the extra time and communication necessary to execute the sale. Definitely appreciated how they value the customer. Don't see any reason to go anywhere else. PLUS free accessories pack!

  Andrew was awesome, helpful and patient. This was my very first advanced compact purchase and he made me feel comfortable and confident with my purchase. He was helpful in having the item shipped. When it came to purchasing the accessories that I needed I did not feel pressured. Thank you for the excellent customer service skills you can tell the difference between people who are there for a paycheck and those who love what they do. Andrew obviously loves what he does.   I love this D750 camera. I bought it to replace my very first dslr, nikon D5600, and love the fact that I could use my current lenses with this new camera body.   Staff were very helpful yet there wasn't one price on anything... only way to find out how much an item was you have to ask someone... for someone like me that shops around checking prices on a multitude of items made that impossible.. all so the lack of CFexpress was a concern.. one if the main things I was chasing and they didn't have any bar one brand that I have never seen or heard of.. the shops well laid out and the staff veey helpful though the first person I spoke to didn't know anything about the SDXC at all... So may be best to shop online and hopefully they have a pick up from the shop feature cause going in and browsing is pointless without prices...

  Bought my new lights here and they were one of the first places in New York with stock and it was competitively priced. The lights were really well packaged and arrived quickly.   I bought a Hasselblad. It was quite expensive at other shops, and even more expensive just for the main unit, but thanks for selling it at a reasonable price and explaining the usage carefully. From now on, we will prepare accessories and lenses, but we will continue to use them.

  I've heard great things about Rode products, and so I figured I'd pick up thisVideoMicro mic. Sound is great, amplified clear and crisp. I would recommend for any run and gun setup if you need audio. It works great on vocal too.

  I found this place because I was looking for a shotgun microphone stand to buy using paypal. Very pleased I did. Exceptional service from the work crew who obviously love what they do. I got my Rode microphone stand at a great price and it was in my hands a day or so after placing the order. So impressed. Anyone into video or photography should check this place out.   Ordering process was efficient, price was competitive, dispatch was a reasonably long time but weekend was in the middle. Contacted company after a week and they sent it that day. Don't expect to see package at my door for a few more days given how long delivery times are at the moment with everyone buying on line!

  I love the new Swarovski ATX system. With one eyepiece you can have tripartite objective lenses, so there's no need to choose between big-and-bright and lightweight-and-compact. The image is sharp and bright, and the focusing and zoom mechanisms are slick and intuitive. Murphy's Outlet shipped on time and well protected. Very happy with Murphy's Outlet.
