  Murphy's Outlet is our go to store for most our electronics. Their service is top notch and are really helpful when research/buying anything. The employees are super helpful and resolve any doubts you have. For buying camera and accessories they have a very organized setup on the upper level along with options to buy used stuff. Love this place.

  I was in the store browsing a few weeks ago and mentioned I had an annoying pet fur on my sensor. Andrew had a look and instantly extracted it with a pair of tweezers. I had been terrified to go near it having read advice about it on YouTube, using only a blower without success. Job done - no charge. Many thanks for that and other good advice.

  Popped in in search of Fujifilm NP-W126S batteries. Staff were super helpful, unfortunately they didn’t have any in but the person helping me was kind enough to ring up KEH to check if they stock them. Lovely staff and they stock 5 packs of the highly sought after Ilford film:)

  I visited the Murphy's Outlet store looking for a lens for my Sony Alpha a7R IIIA. I was served by Andrew Miller. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and allowed me to try a range of lenses. He advised me on the most appropriate lens for my needs and didn't simply try to sell me the most expensive one. I'll definitely be back!

  First time for me using Murphy's Outlet. I wasn't too confident ordering from Murphy's Camera. I knew I might have to wait for item to arrive. Item took three weeks to arrive but my Peak Design are genuine and all working very well. If you don't mind to wait a few weeks for items to arrive I can highly recommend Murphy's for very good value products!

  Bought in 2021 This Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 is the best camera I've ever used and it's perfect for use as a Youtuber as I needed something that could be used primarily for movie making, but also for stills and ability to do selfie stuff. This camera is also not very resplendent so you don't attract a lot of attention when filming, and that's good. The capabilities on this are endless and quality is outstanding! Well worth the $ and the Murphy's' package deals are fantastic!

  Something happened with Murphy's Outlet and this something is not good at all. I never had any problem with them but last order was a bit of a problem. Costumer service is hard to reach and sometimes people not quite understand what are they talking about. I know you can do better guys.

  Murphy's Outlet is the go-to place for all GoPro or DJI needs. A New York institution. You can rent high-end cameras, buy gear and lenses, or pick up any HERO9 bundle or action camera you need. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are unbeatable. You'll feel like you are walking back in time. The place probably hasn't changed since the 70s.

  I have had mixed experience with these guys. They are either brilliant or a shambolic. I had my XT-4 sensor cleaned two years ago and upon inspecting it found that it was still soiled as when it was in my hands. After contacting the shop they asked me to drop it in. Lately when i enquired about selling a lens they gave a preposterous quote. In comparison KEH in New York offered double the value! Buying lenses was no issue and I have been very pleased with my purchase.

  I have purchased from this company before completely fuss free and fast, unfortunately this time the item wasn't in as great of condition, and I was told this was how this brand sends their products which is a let-down.   I ordered the Canon 10x42 binoculars from Murphy's Outlet, edge caps, a set of lens hoods, and a set of UV filters. Everything arrived safe and sound just in time for Colorado hunt set in.   Great Gear, Can't beat the price! Great camera! Bought this Nikon D5 to use primarily for indoor sports such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling and hockey. In addition to high-speed stills capture, the D5 offers decent Full HD video, with 4K UHD as an option in a cropped mode. Can't beat the price! This could be my new indoor favorite for sports and portraits. My go to place for Camera equipment & Advice

  Awesome Service Already knew I wanted to buy this Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 50mm f/0.95 III lens and checked around on different sites. While the price was around the same for all, Murphy's Outlet had the best shipping option. I loved how I received confirmation emails all along the way and my package got to my house so fast!   Amazing Telescope! Love my new telescope! My wife is a Murphy's Outlet fan and helped me pick out my refractor. I didn't want a big telescope and wanted a nice starter scope. It's an awesome size instrument, not to big and not too small,. Everyone who has looked at it thought it was such a perfect size! I have so many astro-photos to take! What a fun telescope!

  I'm just now beginning to shift from taking photos as a hobby to becoming a professional, and I couldn't recommend Murphy's Outlet. What a fantastic experience this was. As soon as my Dad and I walked into the shop we was made to feel very welcome. They had the D750 I wanted and there was no problem getting hands on and time on my own to look it over. All the staff was great to talk to and very knowledgeable. 100% worth the drive from Brooklyn to visit and I feel this is now my go to shop for future purchases. See you at Jennifer King!!!

  Bought a new Jvc Gy-HC500U 4k camcorder today. The guys were really helpful and offered great advice. Cleaned, checked and set up the lens. Then it was back to the pristine optical quality and then left to us 'play'. Can't recommend highly enough. A really friendly shop with great staff.

  I've used this Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS lens quite a bit for landscape photography but equally a great lens for architecture or real estate! Very wide and sharp (just make sure you get a good copy before you decide to keep it). Just know its manual focus only but not really an issue with Fuji's assisted manual focus functions. I have no regrets with my purchase and I would recommend it.

  Professional grade without breaking the bank I have known Andrew's store since 2013 and loved it. We debated long and hard about upgrading to a full frame camera. I am so grateful for the four phone calls I had with Andrew. Each person I spoke with was so knowledgeable, so passionate, and so PATIENT as we talked about the pros and cons of every camera, including making a jump to the Canon family. In the end, this Nikon D750 is a perfect camera for me. Lighter, smaller and more powerful than my D7100 I am a week and 1000 pictures in and beyond happy. Thank you Murphy's Outlet!

  My Sony DSC-RX10 IV camera froze. the lens is extended... I have removed the battery numerous times and it will not respond. the only thing the camera is doing is the Focus range limiter switch is flashing red. three long lights followed by three short lights.   Bought a high quality Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV from here, they gave me a great deal on the Manfrotto ProCUBE twin charger and Sony ALC-SH128 lens hood. There’s actually quite a large range of digital cameras on offer and I’ve used my charger past what the manufacturer recommends so very happy overall.

  I have used the Nikon D810 camera while traveling, family parties and at sporting events. I shoot a lot of photos of my daughter's youth symphony from my seat. It provides a decent zoom. However the lighting in the theater is not always the best and the fact they're playing (action) shots and no flash being allowed. I have never been disappointed. And its really light and compact considering its versatility. Go for it!

  As an amateur enthusiast, the staff came in very handy when selecting my first mirrorless camera. They were on hand to advise and guide, throughout the process. I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely be back!

  This is the best Photography shop in New York! I purchased my first Mamiya 645 camera and Sekonic L-308X-U from here, even though I was on a small budget the staff gave me all the time they had! Talked me through everything and helped me choose. They have a huge range of film and I WILL be going back to buy my next one. Thanks to Andrew and Luke for all the help!

  The single reason I would ever return to this shop is because of Andrew, the owner. He is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and will make time to help and advise on anything without bias. Rest of the staff are......well.....difficult to describe, but not very welcoming or helpful. Store itself.is fine, plenty on the shelves and not too pricey, but I would definitely ask for Andrew if you need any advice

  My Go-To for professional video stabilizers & gimbals. This DJI Ronin RSC 2 gimbal is a lot more solid than I thought it would be. The auto calibration feature is clever and fantastic service with friendly and knowledgeable staff, keep up the good work Luke and Andrew. Highly recommend Murphy's Outlet!

  A great resource for NY photographers in search of Lens & Optics Cleaning Supplies! My Sensei DOC-CK optics clean kit removes smudges, fingerprints, and initial dust. Blower, brush and large microfiber cloth to do the job!

  It should be called a small BestBuy camera shop, a high-priced but good-quality store. There are many camera assortments, all in very good condition. It looks spicy, but it's okay to go around and look around. However, you may hesitate about the high price.

  A GIFT FOR MY NIECE! I bought this Canon ELPH 190 (Blue) at Murphy's for my niece who is 9 yrs. At one time or another I have bought a camera for every kid in my family. This is a great camera for someone getting their feet wet in photography. It is sleek, blue so hard to misplace and does video which she wants to do.

  Great local camera store, with lots of inventory and very helpful and friendly staff. Went to the store with my wife for a new lens and some needed filters and related maintenance equipment. Andrew Miller was our salesperson. Could not have been a more pleasant or successful trip. Andrew quickly identified the right lens for us and then spent 30 minutes working with us on how to use the lens, ND filter and assistance with updating our lens firmware for optimal optical performance. All around a great experience.

  Based on the great personalized service when I purchased my own camera I went back for my son. Much better service than a big box store at the same or better price. It’s a no brainer. If you need a camera, accessories or even training come to murphy's outlet.

  This service is fantastic from beginning to end! This service is fantastic! My first use of them was for a long discontinued camera (Canon EOS 5D Mark IV!) which was impossible to anywhere in my home country. MURPHY'S OUTLET saved my bacon on that one alone! Apart from that, I was blown away by the accuracy and detail of the descriptions, and the clarity of the product shots. And to say that I was blown away with delivery would a huge understatement! I ordered mid-afternoon of a Thursday, and the camera arrived early Saturday morning. Will heartily recommend!

  NICE LITTLE CAMERA STORE! This is a great camera outlet for beginners looking to learn more about photography. Just purchased my entry-level Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV. Andrew was incredibly helpful and objective in his judgment. Easy to use and there is a lot of information online about settings and camera use. Takes excellent quality pictures with the two lenses included. Camera bag is too small to fit the camera body and two lenses. Overall recommend this camera outlet!
