  Very poor packing of an $800 camera lens. Shipping was impressively quick. However, I had no idea that the order was coming as I received no shipping confirmation or tracking number. The order actually still says processing when I check it in my account. Luckily I was home when the order arrived, otherwise the camera lens would have been left out in the rain. My other issues is how poorly the item was packaged. It was just in the flimsy manufacturers box with a thin layer of bubble rap taped around it and then placed a plastic shipping bag. This is not how I expect an $800 camera lens to be shipped. Unfortunately, the lens is very soft wide open especially on the left hand side and it does not sharpen up fully even when stopped down to f8. I suspect something was knocked out alignment during shipping as it was so poorly packaged. I regret trying to save money by using Murphy's Outlet as now am left with an $800 paper weight. I though that perhaps my order was packaged by a new/inexperienced employee. However, given the response from Murphy's Outlet below it seems not. If this is how the company packages fragile items like camera lenses, then I advise anyone thinking of purchasing from them to look elsewhere.

  LensCoat Lens Cover I have used UV filters, I have dropped my camera from about 4 feet accidentally on a hard tiled floor. I didnt have any filter on my lens, but my lens hood was the best protection. I owned a Canon 7D at that time and had the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4 mount on the camera. My gears hit the floor hard, I thought for sure my gears would be damaged. Personally I still think my lens cover saved my glass.

  Very happy with my Canon R5 I've bought a Canon R5 and Canon RF 24-100 f4 lense with EF to RF adapter then later i bought a Canon RF 15-35 f2.8 lense Everything arrived within 10 days from purchase from NY, one delivery was UPS and one was with Fedex and both delivery companies kept me well informed about my deliveries, Illl definitely ues them again , ive saved a fortune on the high street price .

  Canon BR-E1 Wirless Remote The Bluetooth connection sporadically breaks. There appears to be no reason. Maybe it just gets tired. The only way to re-establish the connection is to turn off the camera and re-initiate. I'm back to using a Vello wireless remote.

  What a wonderful purchasing experience my husband had last week with this store. Attentive, knowledgeable, pro active. High street outlets can often be maligned unfairly. If you need proof you can maintain a high standard of customer service from a non Independent, Sally Turner at this store is a brilliant employee. Purchased Nikon D5600.

  Excellent Battery and Shipping I have purchased two different off-brand products. Neither holds a charge as well as the Pentax D-LI106 battery. The Pentax D-LI106 definitely meets my needs and is worth the extra money. The shipping was incredibly fast and came the same week I ordered it. Murphy's Outlet is my go to for my photography business.

  The Manfrotto ProCUBE was a great idea, and I used it only to charge the batteries for my Canon R5 (LP-E6NH).The clip that holds the top connected to the base broke off after 5 months.

  I'm a volunteer portrait photographer and the D850 is a reliable workhorse. Solid professional camera. Saw the D850 at Murphy's Outlet for $500 off Black Friday sale. Plus Murphy's earned points saved me over $200 tax. It was a no brainer. I highly recommend the D850 and purchasing through Murphy's. Very fast delivery and the website is easy to navigate.

  This Canon EOS-1D X Mark II is unbelievable. The service I received over the phone was first class. They help me with everything I needed.   Excellence in photography I'm a bird photographer and I preordered the D850 from Murphy's and had to wait about a month for it to arrive, so I've had it from the beginning.   Thanks Murphy's Outlet Purchased a super nice used Sony a7, unfortunately it was missing its battery. Called Murphy's and they immediately shipped me a brand new Sony NP-FW50 battery.   Sony Rx10IV Excellent bridge camera with high quality construction. The autofocus linked with the high fps makes birds in flight easy to capture. This camera eliminates the excess camera gear on safaris, hikes and more.   I wanted to buy one video led light that was supposed to come with the slate which was normally $19.95 but when I checked out the light the slate was not free anymore, which is disappointing. I was prepared to pay 249.00 but not 270.00 So I cancelled again. But maybe I misunderstood the offer, so I think these offers have to be made clearer from now on, so save disappointment.

  They used to be so expensive but now they compete against prices on Amazon sometimes. I bought my first camera from these guys and I was very happy with it. Free help is also a great option because you can literally get help and advice on exactly what you need and they don't make you spend excessive money on things you think you need.

  I have wanted a Hasselblad for years but never had the courage to buy one because I was unsure what I would be buying. Andrew's knowledge and outright passion for these cameras inspired me to (with 100% confidence) buy a V503cm from Murphy's Cameras. The camera and lens arrived 3 days later and exceeded my expectations - matching body and film back to boot.   Ordered a Leica APO-Televid scope and 25-50x WW aspheric eyepiece free delivery 5 days. After a week chased and was advised because of a storm delivery would be late. Now all delivered after approx 17 days. What I would say is, If you know a order is going to be late be proactive and let your customers know. Rather than them having to send an email to chase and then wait for an answer. We are living in trying times but communication is key. Think this would help with your customers good will.

  The Camera itself works great but the tripod is pretty weak and actually fell apart as I was going to mount the camera, luckily I was holding onto it or it would have fell to the floor. I had to get new tripod for the package. i wont be using this company again

  Disappointment in the Tail Buying from Murphy's Outlet is generally a good experience, I've used them a few times now. However, I was disappointed this time. I bought a Canon DLSR plus battery grip, and the day it was dispatched a new offer was launched to include a free Tripod. That offer was available for two days before my camera arrived, I was very inclined to cancel and reorder to get the tripod, but I thought Murphy's would probably include it anyway do I didn't. That was my mistake, so I lost out on the Tripod. I shall go back to my usual supplier after this experience, they would have included the tripod.

  A great lens from an outstanding company. The website was user friendly and the ordering process very straightforward. The price seemed extremely competitive and My Sigma 150-600mm lens arrived on Tuesday as promised, I snapped it on my Nikon D500 and started shooting and I am pleased with the results of both the image quality and the focusing speed. Can't wait to take it to my favorite shooting spot.

  The Tamron 70-210 f/4 Di VC USD is definitely a great telephoto zoom lens for events. On an APS-C/H camera like the 80D, its focal length is furthered by an additional 50-60%, giving even more reach, which works great for graduations (when the students are on stage), weddings (maybe when the bride/groom are at the altar), and even for some portraiture and street photography.

  Great lens for wildlife photography! Murphy's outlet offered the cheapest price for a Sigma 150-600mm lens so I was a little worried but in fact the experience was flawless. I chose the 2 day delivery and the lens was delivered on time, very well packaged and undamaged. Mounted on my Canon EOS R5 the lens produces terrific sharp images. I also purchased the sigma 1.4x extender for auto focus speed and stabilization and am getting Incredible image quality for the price. Could not be happier.

  Great prices and fast delivery I have been taking photos for years, my first camera being the Canon Rebel XSi...Upon starting my own Wildlife photography business I decided to upgrade. I researched many cameras in my price range and Finally went with the Canon EOS 80D, Haven't had time to play much with it, but it does autofocus better than my previous Rebel XSi and I have been pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. I am extremely happy with my final decision and am looking forward to years of wonderful photos. Will be buying more camera gear from Murphy's outlet in the future. Thank you.

  First Class Service. I agree with the other reviews here. my Sigma 150-600mm lens arrived very quickly, well packaged and was the best price I could find. The lens Worked great right out of the box with my Canon 80D. I literally unboxed it, attached to camera and ran outside to grab some great shots of small animals, birds, and landscapes, The lens is very sharp and very clear. No regrets. Very happy with the service - definitely recommended.
