  Excellent curtains. I’ve searched high and low for decent sound blocking curtains. These look good, block light 100% and even reduce noise. I’m so glad I found moon dream and now I don’t have to wake up with some sudden traffic noise

  I think Moondream has excellent customer service despite a couple of bumps. We originally ordered the Grey SOUNDPROOF Curtain Cotton Effect Stone but when it arrived it appears to be more "lavender" in color. I called customer service to process and exchange for White SOUNDPROOF Curtain Cotton Effect Snow instead. We had agreed for me to return the curtains and they would automatically process the new order. This did not happen. I emailed their customer service and sadly their primary contact was out sick but another team member took change, escalated the order AND had the new curtains shipped overnight. Less than 24 hours from the second contact I received my new curtains which I am pleased about. - Grateful and thrilled.

  It’s not what I was expecting It says soundproof but it didn’t reduce any noise It is a blackout I got a black color so it was good in blocking the light I returned them because it didn’t cut the noise sound from outside Material was not bad it was decent but it doesn’t worth the money I paid for it

  I wouldn’t call them blackout curtains. A lot of light can still be seen in my daughter’s room. Also, unfortunately they have a really terrible return policy. Only 7 days and on your dime! Unopened/unwashed, how do you even know if they work unless you open them? Poor customer service and poor quality.

This is why we have a section : 100% blackout. Regarding the return policy you have 14 days after the delivery date to return the products.It means you can return them by using the return label that came in the delivery package.   This is the description for the curtains I bought from your website. The Moondream White Cotton Effect Blackout Curtain is a technical solution that dresses windows with stylish fabrics and gives you the option to block out up to 100% of the light whenever you wish. Sturdy, easy to maintain and height adjustable, Moondream Cotton Effect Blackout Curtains provide a fitting last touch to your decorating schemes. So I guess I assumed this meant they were 100% blackout curtains, since that’s what it says. Would be love to get refunded for these, since I’ll have to buy other ones now. Please let me know if this is possible.

As you know UP to 100% doesn't mean 100% , especially since we have a 100% blackout section and some filters to make your choice easier regarding your special needs. You received the curtains 01-29-2021, a month ago and if I understand well the curtain was used.   Moondream was a dream to work with. Responded very quickly to my questions/concerns about the fact I mistakenly ordered the wrong length for my curtains. I did not find out until I received my order. They were amazing at helping me exchange them for the correct length. Giving me several options on how to do so. I never felt "left hanging", no pun intended, but very well taken care of while trying to correct my wrong. I only had to pay the difference in the curtain cost, and they honored the Black Friday deal I got on my original order and applied it to my exchange. I will absolutely use Moondream again for my curtain needs.

  This is Part 1 of a two-part review…Finally! A Perfect On-Line Purchase. I purchased eight 108” long black-out, thermal, sound-proof curtains from Moondream. I have contacted their customer service and management team four times, and each time, their response was helpful, informative and timely. (1) MOONDREAM HELPED ME PICK THE RIGHT PRODUCT FOR ME: Via Moondream.com Chat, I asked if I should buy the 3-layer curtain @ $139 or the 4-layer room-divider @ $169. If they were only focused on sales, they could easily have steered me to the more expensive room-divider, but they focused on matching the product to this customer’s needs, and steered me to the cheaper curtain. EXCELLENT! (2) MOONDREAM HELPED ME PICK THE COLOR: Not sure about which color curtain to buy, they said “Yes,” when I asked if they could send me color swatches. By they, I mean Madame Maria, the customer service rep I chatted with, and Madame Michele, the manager who emailed me. If you contact this French company for any reason, you will receive a courteous, kind-hearted response, right-away. SUPERB! (3) MOONDREAM HELPED ME WITH SHIPPING: Not wanting 8 curtains in one box that would weigh 60 pounds, they said ‘Yes” when I asked for four shipments. Though free to me, multiple shipments cost them more. At each stage in this transaction, they have done what was best for me, not what was best for them. TERRIFIC! (4) MOONDREAM HELPED ME WITH PRICING: I placed the order on Amazon.com on Sep 3, and then found that Moondream.com had a 10% off Labor Day Sale on Sep 4. Madame Michele helped me to save 10%...or $117.87 by cancelling the Amazon.com order & reordering on Moondream.com. In years to come, I will feel grateful to the curtains for warming my home, and the management team for warming my heart. A+

  The drapes are just as I had hoped and I would definitely leave a five star for the drapes. Shipping was fast so that was fine. My only issue was with the lack of customer service. I emailed and called without response. The drapes have a production odor that is often on new material and I’m very sensitive to odors. I wanted to know if I could wash the drapes , so I could hang them and have them be odor free. This is a common thing and most anyone knows that new material often has a production coating to keep them looking nice and crisp. I did not receive any return calls or emails. I had to dig in the faq section to find out that the style I ordered which in fact is dry clean only, some are regular wash. That’s fine but I would have preferred a response, none the less I had the drapes cleaned and they’ll fine now. No more odor. Also they arrive un-hemmed for those who are sewing novices it might be a bit of a challenge. All in all for the comparison they are great value and seem to do as advertised. Would I buy them again, yes. But more aware of what to expect.

Regarding the smell, please note that most our fabrics are okoetex certified, it means they do not have any harmful substance. Now regarding the fact that they are un-hemmed, it's on purpose, we consider that it's better for a customer to adjust the length to his own window.   Good shipping and service, but the product is just an expensive, heavy curtain. Doesn't really block or even muffle sound very well, and that's with serious overhang on all sides, and velcro fasteners for the center opening.

  We have moondream curtains in every one of our rooms. Our home faces west, so the back side of house gets direct sun in the mornings, and the front in the evenings. They are amazing a darkening the room, but also very important for climate control for us as well. I highly recommend.

Our curtains are made up with 3 layers, are thick and quite heavy (all our curtains weigh between 4 and 7 lbs depending on the length). That being said, it is the weight of the curtain that is even more important than the thickness when it comes to sound insulation. It is ALSO necessary to consider the individual configuration of one's home regarding the efficiency of our product. Depending of the construction of the building or the house. Since the sound enters through the walls too, once in, it creates what's called a "rebound effect" - bouncing multiple times off the wall, the flor, the ceiling. Therefore, insulating the windows alone might not be sufficient in your specific case to achieve a satisfactory result and additional insulation measures might be necessary.
