  EXCELLENT PRICE QUALITY I do mostly outdoor photography but also do table top for jewelry. I plan on doing astrophotography when more time allows. The very high ISO speeds make low light photography a joy even shooting in RAW. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable people.

  I have resuscitated my 60-year-old film camera and of course that meant finding a stocking for film. Happily I have dealt with Madison Ave Cams for several years and knew that they hold a great stock of pretty well everything photographic and so it turned out for film too. Have had 2 batches of different film, each delivered ex-stock, within 2 days, and at a competitive price.

  Madison Avenue Cameras- A reputable and efficient supplier whose service is second to none. I appreciate Madison Avenue Cameras prices may be slightly higher than some of the competition as there overheads would be greater but their prices are the same as many other smaller operations. However, their service is second to none and they are extremely prompt responding to enquiries, usually within a couple of hours if the enquiry is by email. I will always go there first and see if they are able to match, or come close, to a competitors price. Paying a little extra is worth the peace of mind that I am dealing with a reputable supplier.   Good customer support. Bought a Manfrotto bag on Madison Ave Cams but it was missing a few things on delivery. Contacted Madison's and they had mid-described it and we settled on a partial refund. Very efficient and good customer support.

  Recently purchased a fuji tcl x100 - 2 which is proving to be an excellent addition to my x100f , I also ordered a PeakDesign tripod bag , again this is an excellent product.   Problem solved Good service is not just about getting it right first time. It is also about dealing with an error and resolving the problem. A returned item had gone astray and I had lost the tracker which I eventually, three weeks later, found. The number was passed on, the receiver was identified, the product recovered and the money returned promptly.

  Best deal I have ever purchased from Madison Ave Cameras out of many! This was the best deal I have ever made with Madison Ave Cameras who I have been purchasing from since 1987. I use Madison' exclusively for all my photography needs. I am a pro photographer and shoot a lot of landscape, travel, street, and portrait photo with a D7200 which was in serious need of upgrade. My photography habits have evolved over the years, and I wanted a D750 this time and NIKKOR 105mm lense. Purchased these two deals couldn't go wrong with the deal, had so much money left in my budget I picked up two sigma lenses I wanted. Getting the best out of my equipment, I will be purchasing one more lens from Madison Ave Cameras later this year the Sigma 150 - 600mm Sports lens. If you are looking for great a deal and are invested in Dslr config for your camera equipment like I am, do pro work part time, this is the deal for you hand down. Madison's people are top of the line, top of the class. If you have questions they have the answers. They also have the deals let me tell you!

  Seriously hold you thought if you want to sell your pre-owned, mint equipment to them. Walked in to get a quote for a Canon EOS-1D C, a Canon that is hard to find on the market, and shoots extremely high quality pictures. Give me a quote of $2699 , "i figure you wouldn't take it".

  I ordered a Canon EOS-1D X Mark II and EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM lens. This was a big commitment and was required for a job on a Wednesday. I ordered it the Friday previous. I was promised delivery for the Tuesday and M.A.C came through. All was packaged really well, delivered without incident. This helped my anxiety about gear arriving on time for the job and I was so pleased it all arrived ok. The customer support team were so accommodating and couldn’t seem to be more happy to help me.

  Incorrect Advice from Madison Avenue Cameras re Epson Perfection V600 photo I recently purchased a Epson Perfection V600 photo from Madison. This was delivered the day after I placed my order with Madison usual efficiency. It is now up and running faultlessly. However, prior to making this purchase I enquired of Madison as to whether this scanner was compatible with my iMacs Catalina OS and was informed that it was NOT. When I checked the Epson and Silverfast websites I found that this scanner plus Silverfast software IS compatible with my OS as long as the supplied software is updated with a download. On this basis I ordered the scanner and after installing the specified download NO problems. So full marks to Madison for efficient supply and delivery but points away for incomplete research and bad advice from Madison, which if I had heeded it, would have cost them a sale.

  Madison Avenue Cameras was really great. I was in the Madison Avenue Cameras store a couple of weeks ago, starting on my long-delayed move from film to digital. I'd never been in Manhattan before and was really impressed. Sally Turner was excellent, friendly, opinionated (in a really good way, and I mean that!) and she also brought in other staff members to give their views on various aspects, and they were all knowledgeable and helpful. I spent ages in there and didn't buy anything - yet! - there was no sales pressure, but I will definitely be back when I've made up my mind. Struck me as a place where the staff all have expertise and passion in various styles of photography / different camera brands and are on-hand to give help and advice. Given the dominance of online shopping, real shops need our support if they are to survive, but I would also say that the prices at Madison Ave Cameras look very good to me, plus you have the security of dealing with real people. It's not often I enjoy being in a shop and I thoroughly recommend Madison.

  Over last 8 months I have purchased used D500,D750 and Nikon 24-70mm lens .All items were immaculate (as new ) both cameras very low shutter count.   Stunning Piece of Equipment Good buy, but great customer service, Madison Avenue Cameras were able to beat Adorama's Price by not charging for taxes on a used Hasselblad 2000fc camera.   Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great range of cameras and services, such as photography classes, processing your rolls and camera repairs. Easy access from wheelchairs and good wide aisles inside. Lexington Avenue is very busy and not very good for parking; best to visit using one of the frequent buses. This is a great shop if you're looking for a camera as you can get your hands on before you buy.

  Very nice service. I had sensor spots on my camera. Since initially not all stains could be eliminated, I had to leave my camera there and pick up in the evening or possibly only in the morning. Since this would have been too late for us, they cleaned it directly and even without charging anything. Super nice staff. I can only recommend the store (camera repair service).

  Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens I do a lot of urban street photography and needed a lens that could work in hazardous areas. I inquired about three lenses in a popular photography forum and Madison Avenue Cameras commented on the Panasonic Lumix. However, as already stated, Madison' had good reviews and I went for the lens after a day. I couldn't be happier. It feels so much better than the lens it is replacing, with a very solid feel.

  The Rode NTG-2 is awesome! It picks up sound like a champ. Pack from M.A.C comes with a windscreen in the box but I would definitely recommend getting a wind shield like the Rode WS6. This kit is a steal, you can't get it any cheaper. High quality sound for a low price. Rode products are dope!

  Superb Lens AND Value From a Superb Reseller Madison Avenue Cameras! I rented the Sony 200-600 lens from an online lens rental company. I was sufficiently, impressed to go ahead with the purchase. I ordered online from Madison Avenue Cameras'.. and it took so long to get it, even though it showed in stock. Madison' was as always superb in customer service. From when I placed my order to when I had my new lens was 1 1/2 days. FedEx did not require a signature just acknowledgement through my screen/glass door that I was the addressee allowing me to stay safe in these troubled times All in all a great experience, I'm thrilled and Madison Ave Cams, Manhattan remains my go-to vendor for all my Photographic needs.

  After renting the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4 a couple of times, I purchased this wonderful lens from Madison Avenue Cameras' in advance of a trip to Hawaii to photograph the active volcano. The resulting images were superb and the lens is finding it's way into more and more shooting situations. I can't say enough good things about it. Buy one! The price was right. Madison Avenue Cameras' is one of the best web retailers in the U.S.

  Great after sales service. My sweet Canon EOS R5 camera stopped working up after just under a year. Madison Avenue Cameras' advised me to send to local Canon service center in the US for repair and they would foot the bill. Unfortunately Canon could not obtain the necessary parts and gave a repair time of two months. Of course, I was desperate at the thought of being without the camera for so long. Madison's agreed to replace in line with their warranty. A UPS label was sent to enable me to return the old camera at no cost to me, with the replacement shipped concurrently. I now have the new Canon R5 - great service, can’t recommend highly enough.

  Canon EF 50mm f 1.8 I was so pleased to find a camera and lens for such quick and reliable shipping and handling. My lens is basically brand new it might actually really be brand new. It's even better than I expected. If I'm able to receive an extra 1,000 I know exactly what I'd get from Madison Avenue Cameras !   This is the 5th time buying from Madison Avenue Cameras' and as always excellent, quick service. Purchased the EM-1 Mark III and FL-700 WR along with the 12-45mm lens this time round. 3 days to delivery, no issues. Tina even chased up afterwards to make sure it arrived safely.   I Highly Recommend This Product and Madison Avenue Cameras. I purchased the Monarch 7 8X42 for my wife's birthday. She uses them to view the water, ships and various events from our deck.   I bought my Fuji camera from here in November 2019 and the staff and service was great. Since then I have had numerous issues when visiting the shop with certain staff members being rude when I ask general queries regarding cameras/film etc. Not sure why this is but I am now much less likely to support the shop, as if I visit and am welcomed with rude staff I will find somewhere else. If this changes in the near future I'll definitely be back soon!

  TERRIFIC LENS & RETAILER I am an advanced photographer and have wanted a Macro lens for a long time. Madison's price and Sigma's 105mm lens allowed me to obtain one. It is proving to be one of my best lens. Very sharp and clear photos. The only minus to it is that it is under rated. Professional photographers may feel the need to buy the more expensive brands but this one is perfect for me.

  Good reliable photography retailer. I have ordered several small and big ticket items of from Madison Avenue Cameras over the years (eg, Brother's printer, D850, various t-mount adapters), both online and occasionally visiting their shop in Manhattan, and never had any problems with them. The website is easy to use, delivery is fast and reliable and having a local shop makes a pleasant change from the less personal internet experience of buying kit these days, and their prices are generally competitive.

  I am happy with my purchase. Madison Avenue Cameras was the only retailer I found that had the optics I wanted and I have had good service with them on past orders. The website stated the item was backordered before i ordered. My Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens shipped as told by the Madison representative, once it was at the warehouse. It arrived Approx 3 weeks after my order. No damage, signature required, receipt printed and placed in the box. I will order from Madison' again. I am satisfied with my Sony product.

  Nice surprise in a bundle Madison Avenue Cameras included this MeFOTO WalkAbout monopod with the purchase of our 5D Mark IV, and we absolutely love it. The aluminum is light to hold, but built incredibly sturdy and strong. The adjustable sections are easy to open and collapse and the wrench can tighten and loosen the bolts to adjust to your needs!   My first refurbished body purchase I just received my Nikon refurbished D7500 today. You could set it next to a brand new body and it would be impossible to tell the difference between the two. I was hesitant to buy a refurb body but every single one of my fears has been allayed. I am currently waiting for the battery to charge so I can get out and drive this thing.   True anamorphic juju on a budget. The Sirui 35mm F/1.8 Anamorphic is Absolutely incredible and cost efficient. Durable, heavy weighted, and well constructed. Overall a great anamorphic piece that preserves sharpness and clarity even at its fastest aperture. Lovely stuff in this small store.

  I have been a Hoya filter user for over 25 years. I switched to a German company for a few years and I have come back to the Hoya UV filters. I typically buy the top of the line filters to protect my quality lenses. By the way, Madison Avenue Cameras always a pleasure to work with. No shenanigans. Very solid company.   Went into the store today looking for a lens, the man working behind the counter was on the phone, didn't acknowledge us at all. Continued to talk for 10 minutes on the phone, never once said a word to us. Could hear what he was chatting about and it didn't sound like work. Poor service and we left after 10 minutes because it was clear we weren't gonna get spoken to any time soon. Visited on the 09/01/21 at around 2-3pm.
