  Excellent service to my Nikon 70-200 lens. Helpful guy on the counter who showed the lens to the technician, given a time estimate and it was ready two days earlier than expected. As an aside, it's also a nice place to browse the old cameras for sale, and on display.

  I Love Madison Ave Cameras For years Madison in Manhattan is my preferred store to buy photographic gear. So far, they answer fast, offer competitive prices and work hard to gain trust of their costumers. Usually they have the products I need and are very organized. My experiences were so far positive. If I have a choice, I choose Madison. I just wish Canadian dollar match US dollar, it would be nice!!!

  Fantastic job! Madison Avenue Cameras repaired my Canon camcorder, which needed the replacement of the main circuit board. I never thought that I would see the camcorder working again, as Canon USA does not repair these camcorders, but these guys did it. I got my camcorder repaired within three weeks. The repair cost was cheaper than buying a second hand same camcorder. Many thanks to Madison for repairing my camcorder.

  Great price and great dealer Very satisfied with the performance of the HXR-NX100. This is a great camera to use if you are into videotaping special occasions. I have used this camera at a church event. The audio on the camera works well. I like it a lot. As always, the camera was as listed a good price and delivered quickly. I've never been disappointed when purchasing from Madison Ave Cameras!

  Fitted a new graphics card and quoted $268, even left a message on the answer phone to say it is ready and then when I got there slaps on an extra $12, sorry but I was paying in cash and wont be ripped off. Work seems okay, but not perfect as problems with computer crashing due to ASUS software.

  Amazing service! Couldn't be more happier with the service I received from Madison Ave Cameras, everything went so smoothly from when the order was placed to when I received it. I had a canon 5DMK IV and it was damaged during a photo shoot, I had a trip to Kentucky on March 1, I placed the order on February 25 and got my new canon R5 by march 1!   Hasselblad XCD 45mm F/4 P lens this is a street fotog's dream its good for portraits shot and close ups . Sharp, affordable and silent. About $3000 less pricy than some of the others. No lens hood is supplied or offered to I bought a B&W aluminium hood and it finishes off the outfit nicely, as well as serving very well as insulation against knocks or bumps from use. I also now LOVE Madison for getting this lens and extras to me in Quebec in under a week for a mere $35

  I used Madison Avenue Cameras to service my Rolleicord VB's flash sync port as well as get a broken piece of a shutter cable out of the threaded port. After communication via email establishing the problem and an estimate as well as the time it'd take to repair, I sent the camera off to have those problems solved. It was not the fastest service, but it was definitely the most efficient. These folks not only fixed the two problems specified, but gave the full works to my camera which included a decent cleaning as well as ensuring that the dials will no longer be as stiff as they were as well as fixing my slower shutter speeds. Will 100% recommend the company, however, do keep in mind that dependent on the type of camera/problem that your wait can be lengthy.

  Extremely bad customer service with the rental department. Unprofessional and were unable to handle my credit card payment even after multiple tries blaming system issues. After waiting for more than 30 minutes they made me wait further without any explanation on what was going on.

  This Canon g7x mrk ii camera performed as advertised and I was very pleased with it until I dropped it--zipped inside the Ruggard case Madison supplies with it-- from a shelf about 3 feet above the floor onto a carpet. Result: it no longer functions. Canon's estimate is $329 for repair. Bottom line: this is a really nice camera, but very delicate.

  Tamron 150 t0 600 mm G2 lens I've had the glass for almost three weeks. I shoot mainly wildlife, mostly birds. I expect a lifetime of practice and use with this magnificent beast. Very fast delivery and the website is easy to navigate.

  No complaints at all. I would definitely recommend this company, they have great deals on cameras and accessories and provide high quality service. My Sony a7 III camera was dispatched really fast and all my enquiries were dealt with promptly. The staff were very helpful and polite.   Am Glad I Switched to Mirrorless. As a long time DSLR user, I finally decided to make the jump from a Nikon D500 to a Z7 II , and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The camera was at a very competitive price, as described and arrived the next day in excellent condition. The camera has now been running for several days with no problems. Controls are very easy to use and it's very intuitive. I couldn't ask for any more and would highly recommend this company.

  Outstanding I Ordered my Darkroom Timer after 3pm and it was delivered free the next day before 2pm. I could track the delivery all the way, and even got a email specifying the timeslot when it would be delivered.   Excellent, 5 stars all the way! When i first saw this website, i wasn't to sure about it. But then i saw the prices and some other reviews. I thought that it was good enough to go ahead with my purchase and It was time to upgrade from a DSLR. After much research on the website, I decided to go with the Sony a7iii for it's superb low-light capability and it's the best purchase I’ve made.   Great service After failing to receive my camera from a different company- waiting over a month and no response. I chose to order from this website. I found a better DSLR Camera for the same price.   From beginning to end, every single aspect of Madison Avenue cameras is dreadful. I recently bought a Canon EOS R6 that was clearly listed as new but when I received it was clearly far from new. The packaging was completely damaged and the camera produced blurry images.

  Long-established local business, well-stocked showroom and the kind of service you cannot get from Amazon. I needed a rucksack for my professional camcorder and its accessories. After arranging to attend with my camera, I met Davies who patiently helped me find suitable rucksack by loading my kit into various in-stock designs until we found the best one for the job, providing advice along the way. At the end, I walked out as a happy customer with the rucksack on my back and with all my kit safely stashed inside.   Reading reviews for Madison here it seems that I am not the only person that has been ripped off and not received what they ordered. I paid for a camera bag a week ago and delivery was meant to be next day. Instead I am still waiting for delivery and apparently the courier has had the bag in their depot for 4 days and is in no hurry to deliver it, despite knowing that I need the bag urgently. Company's solution was to offer a full refund and have the bag returned to them. Avoid Madison Ave Cameras' at all costs as they are time wasters and there are plenty of other good stores available out there.

  Satisfied customer. Hadn’t heard of Madison Avenue cameras before but they had an Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV camera I wanted at the best price I could find. I rang up to double check the availability and the sales team were friendly and knowledgeable. I placed an order for a 3-4 days delivery and was pleasantly surprised when it turned up 2 days earlier than than i expected. I can't wait to start scheduling my appointments with my clients.   I enquired about a sigma lens from Madison Avenue Cameras but they didn't have it in stock at the time. However they had it in within two days (from sigma) and it was perfect. The price was even a match for the internet. The staff member was very knowledgeable about the item and was incredibly helpful. I've been back ever since to order small items such as film and accessories.

  Great purchase! The ordering and payment process was straightforward and simple, my Canon EOS M50 Mark II camera was delivered in 24 hours. It was exactly as advertised, in its original unopened manufacturers packaging. I have only had the camera for a few days but I absolutely love it, the picture quality is incredible, The kit lens is really nice as well, it focuses quickly and takes nice sharp photos. Using an adapter I'm able to use my EF and EFS lenses with this camera as well which is always a huge plus. Overall am very happy with the purchase.

  RODE NTG5 Shotgun Mic For the price you can't find any other shotgun mic this quality. Paired it sound devices premix and it sounds amazing. Clean audio and almost no self noise ! It is also super lightweight. Highly recommended

  Solid Suction Cup Mount I had a third party Suction cup before and I almost lost my GoPro Hero8. It was not solid and firm enough to hold the camera over a car. So I had to buy this GoPro Suction Cup Mount. It is amazing and reliable with a great build quality. Now, I feel more comfortable using this GoPro Suction cup because I know it's the best there is. I don't have to worry that my GoPro would fall. Fast shipping great too.

  So great to be back in the darkroom after months of lockdown! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone passionate about photography - they offer tons of classes and workshops, plus sessions where members can develop and print their own photos. The staff and teachers are all super helpful and knowledgeable. Whether you’re new to printing, you’re a pro, or you’re looking to learn experimental techniques, darkroom has something for everyone.

  Great customer service following an online purchase: It got stuck on the Canon USA & Affiliates Schenectady, NY, USA side, but impeccable service from the Madison team. quick phone call to let me know when the box was sent, arranging things, and as a bonus the little surprise mug in the package :) Canon specialists are rare, but the Madison store is flawless!

  So much more than a website - it's a proper service This was my first experience of Madison Avenue Cameras' in New York. I found all the Madison Avenue Cameras staff were very passionate. I was able to discuss products, discuss prices, and do a part exchange with knowledge staff. Pricing matched or bettered a well known US tax avoiding online stores. Part exchange offers were good. One item I wanted was out of stock, so placed on backorder. I was able to easily phone Madison Avenue Cameras' and check progress and they phoned me when the item eventually arrived from manufacturer. It arrived next day, very well packaged. All in all, a great full service. I'll definitely use Madison Avenue Cameras' again.

  Excellent Product I bit the bullet and I bought the Sony a7III and it does not disappoint. I cannot wait to see all of the beautiful moments I can capture with this camera! Also, I am amazed by Madison Avenue Cameras' prompt service. I ordered my camera and received it 3 days later!

  First time here after a relative recommended that I try it out. However I was most disappointed. I was asking a question to one of the sales assistants only to be rudely interrupted by the manager I was then left for 15 minutes before being served again.

  Very happy with the scope! Online order was fast, secure and my Vanguard Spotting Scope arrived well packed and so far i am enjoying it..   Excellent service - 1.4x teleconverter I bought a 1.4x teleconverter and Madison Avenue Cameras' were excellent. The product was competitively priced, and was shipped promptly.   I was doing an online order and called their customer service with some questions.   Camera stopped working after 3 months. The first Olympus TG-6 camera we ordered worked correctly a few days then would turn off if removed from the charger and would not turn back on unless back on the charger. Madison Ave cameras replaced it and the second one did exactly the same thing after only three months. Tried everything including resetting to factory results with No such luck. very disappointed with their products.
