  Extra discount offered within just a few days of my purchase Within just a few days of my purchase, there was a special offer on the range from which I purchased. Not just that, but I was charged postage on one of the two items I bought, notwithstanding the two purchases, made consecutively within a few minutes brought my order over the $150 threshold for free postage. I pointed this out by email immediately but was still charge postage on one of the items. Otherwise, products arrived quickly and were well packed.

  I am very happy with Madison Avenue Cameras in Manhattan. The contact is very professional at all times and the staff are all very nice. Regardless of whether the contact was made by phone, on site or by email. I was helped quickly and easily, and above all in a very accommodating manner, if I had a problem that I was responsible for. Excellent! It's always called America's service desert, but that doesn't apply to Madison Avenue Cameras in Manhattan. I would not have thought that there is still such a service-oriented business and then I find such a darling in NYC of all places. A thousand thanks to Madison Avenue Cameras & a thousand thanks to the team in New York!

  I am a wildlife artist needed a superb camera to capture details from afar. I consider myself a beginner/novice photographer, this Sony a7R IIIA I had ordered seemed to cumbersome for me to handle. I phoned them and allowed me to return the item. I got the A9 and the Sony 100-400mm lens with 1.4 teleconverter instead. The a7rii gassing the rolling shutter problem, which for birds in flight could be an issue. A9 has higher frame rate as well. Plus native lenses are not inexpensive, but should help make Sony the first choice for many wildlife photographers.

  Vello Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera I am thrilled beyond words. All the investments I made in my Canon lenses are still worth it, since I can now use ALL of them on my new Sony Mirrorless Camera I bought through Madison. Thank you Madison for stocking this lens adapter, and thank you for your helpful staff who informed me the adapter would work...and it did! It's simple to use, clicks in place in one second, and no problems with adding and removing the other lens.

  RELIABLE & AUTHENTIC GOODS I'm a High school teacher in Manhattan, and really don't have any money. I take all stuff serious, so I don't jump at a couple hundred bucks. I trust Madison Ave Cameras and I know if I have an issue, they are willing to do whatever it takes. Beware of gray market or buying from an unauthorized dealer if you're buying new. Madison's is reliable and authorized. Bought a used lens once off eBay, saved myself hundreds of dollars only to have an issue with it a year later and the cost to ship and fix was astronomical. Be careful.

  I got this Magnus VT-4000 tripod for lock offs, but pans and tilts are not very smooth. You definitely get what you pay for, but build quality on the legs seems pretty solid. All in all if you're a professional and are expecting a head with smooth movements spend the extra money and get an entry level Manfrotto.

  The charger to my Canon R6 was not in the box when I bought it, and then they were closed during the days I had my shoot. Luckily my friend managed to find them on Twitter, sent them a message and they kindly delivered the charger to the hotel where I was staying, too late for the shoot but nonetheless I appreciated the customer service.

  What a fabulous repair shop. Brought my Kodak PH-324 Field Camera in for a repair on a broken arm on the bellow mechanism. They also gave it a proper service too. You cannot see the repair which is amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough.

  Went into the store today looking for a lens, the man working behind the counter was on the phone, didn't acknowledge us at all. Continued to talk for 10 minutes on the phone, never once said a word to us. Could hear what he was chatting about and it didn't sound like work. Poor service and we left after 10 minutes because it was clear we weren't gonna get spoken to any time soon. Visited on the 16/11/21 at around 2-3pm.

  Brilliant seller! I bought a lovely Venus Optics Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens in perfect condition.   Lovely shop but the customer service is just excellent. These guys know their stuff and are exceptionally helpful. The let you test drive stuff at your own pace and offer useful suggestions along the way. Their knowledge about doing the international customs returns is good as well.   Despite signs asking people to social distance, I had to stand well outside the queue just to avoid unmasked customers trying to stand inches from me. Worst of all though, I witnessed one staff member wearing a face shield and no one else. Most of the staff wore no mask and made no attempt to keep any meaningful distance from customers or each other. Inexplicably, at a time when hygiene is so important, they have made toilets unavailable to customers.

  I am struggling to get in touch with these guys as I don't have skype, the Nikon F3 35mm SLR I bought arrived today and does not work (I have tried 3 different sets of new charged batteries and inserted wrong viewfinder) - there was no invoice in the package and there is no phone number of email on their website. I have opened a complaint sadly via Paypal but will not wait 21 days as suggested as in the original ad it said you had to return item in 14 days. I have the address so will send the item back - such a shame as these seem nice guys with good product options.

  I'm a commercial professional photographer; but I also teach photography at a local art center. I purchased the Nikon D5300 for my B-Day in October 2021 from Madison Avenue Cameras. I didn't want entry-level, having been a decent photographer when I was younger, but I also knew I didn't need top of the line. I did a lot of research, and this camera had rave reviews. It has certainly lived up to them. It has everything you need, and then some. It is easy to use and is just plain amazing.

  Great camera, photo, and film store. Glad to see a small business that still has a wide variety of products in a niche market, with new items and competitive prices. Got film developed and scanned here. Staff is always helpful. Good amount of used camera gear as well. Only complaint is that the the standard film scan quality is somewhat low, and increasing to 6MP is a ridiculous price increase. Makes me want to just mail my film elsewhere. Where you can get 6MP standard, or for only about $2 more per roll.

  Canon BG-E14 Battery Grip I needed a battery grip for my Canon 90D, I tried the main Canon website and it was on back order, so I searched Madison Avenue Cameras and again they never disappoint, I needed the extra power for my camera I case I have to do a long day of shooting and this battery grip did just the thing.   Sony's G Master 24-70 IQ gives excellent image quality and sharpness. In addition, this lens takes Sony's teleconverters. You have the option to use this as a 105-280mm 4 lens with the SEL14TC. This means that it will be better in lowlight situations and can deliver a more shallow depth of field.

  The most trustworthy and fastest photo gear distributer - SONY A7C I didn't expect that Madison Avenue Cameras' shipped this SONY A7C, so fast the lens is incredible- , so quickly (Its schedule in a trip to Africa safari n was December 2021).   Incompatible QR Plate I thought this would have less overhang from the tripod mount on my Canon telephoto lens than the 200PL-Pro plate I bought earlier. It does hang over less, but it does NOT fit my Manfrotto Element MII tripod! The Manfrotto Element MII takes a Quick Release plate about 1 1/2 wide.

  After a few hundred snaps with D850 attached to a Nikkor 600 f4 I am sold. The clarity of wildlife images and definition of detail is amazing. Equally impressive is Madison Ave Cameras' - they not only provide great products at competitive prices, they have the very best customer service in the business. I've sourced equipment from other vendors in the past, and none of them came close to Madison in service. All of my current and future purchases have been and will be from Madison.
