  Good company, somewhat disappointing product The Madison Ave Cameras' website is easy to use. Ordering, paying and delivery all went smoothly. However, the Kenro film scanner I purchased has two defects- firstly, it won't accept the old thick plastic slide mounts which were used in the 70s and secondly, the output from color positive slides is very contrast.

  The usual great service A quick look online showed that Madison Avenue Cameras' had the Sony 200-600 lens in stock and I had just over 30 minutes to order on Sunday for Monday delivery. A glitch in online payment meant I had to 'phone my order through, but that took only a few minutes and my new lens was with me by lunchtime the next day. Friendly, efficient and helpful, as always, thanks to all the staff at Madison Avenue Cameras'.

  I was seeking an A/C Adapter for my Nikon DSLR camera. I had spotted a preferable one on the Madison's website but was unsure whether it was suitable as the description stated that it was for the Nikon DSLR. I was also perplexed because I could not see how it was powered. The accompanying image (which is a standard image for the product and is similar to that of other suppliers’ websites) just shows the adapter box and a length of the connection cable to the camera. The unit still need an additional cable available separately

  Helpful and polite The item was delivered promptly as soon as it came back into stock and during my waiting period the customer services were helpful and polite. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because of the wait I experienced for the item to get back into stock.

  The service was great each time I spoke to them But there was an error when ordering which then resulted in a double order. It then took over two weeks for me to receive my refund as it wasn’t processed as I was told. However dispute this inconvenience, delivery was fast, the product was in excellent condition, and staff were polite and friendly.

Recently bought a Mavic Air drone from Madison, they gave great advice, the product was very competitively priced and it was dispatched and delivered quickly and professionally.   The only seller on ebay with such versatile and affordable photo gear! ...I was looking for Nikon D5 body, wishing to invest in this affordable, though somewhat outdated camera body. My plan was to buy the body first, and then decent lens like Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR lens. Other sellers had this particular camera but only in kit configuration. And Madison's store had full range of this Nikons - bodies, kits, and even refurbished ones. The prices were more than adequate, comparing to those I find here, even with Overnight Express shipping. So that was easy choice. The camera is exactly what I needed, and can say I hit the mark! Hope to deal with Madison again...

  I'm a DSLR shooter who has been interested in getting into mirrorless for several years. With the deep discounts being offered by Madison I decided now is the time.   Great Value for your Buck This Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens is the first lens I bought for my Canon R5. Couldn't be happier with its sharpness and clarity.   Everything You Could Ever Want but Hard to Find As a college student, Madison Avenue Cameras' has everything I could ever need. The only problem is finding it. I find Madison Avenue Cameras' search tool very inefficient and has caused me to buy the wrong paper on multiple occasions. Because Madison' is so big, it is very hard to find what you want on the website.

  The EOS R is a really nice camera, light and easy to use. Highly configurable to suit your individual shooting styles.   This 7artisans Photoelectric 25mm F/1.8 lens WILL fit on a EM10 mark II but it does not fit on the mark III due to a slightly different design. The mount of the lens hits the front of the camera just above the flange on the camera and does not allow it to seat and mount.

  Great customer service. I purchased an L-bracket that would not work with tripod adapter plate. One side of the bracket had a step under the dovetail that would not allow it to latch. I spoke to a rep who stated he would have someone call me back that was familiar with the product. I received a call within 20 minutes. The rep listened to my concern and recommended two other L-brackets that he was sure would work.

  Awesome lens if you don't mind the cost, size, and weight. The Sony Distagon T* FE 35mm f/1.4 lens is a great addition to my landscape and street photography kit. I have used it on multiple outings and am extremely please with the image quality. The sun bursts at f/16 are wonderful. It worked perfectly on my A7RIii. I would recommend lens to any Sony shooters. Shipping was fast and easy, product arrived well packaged and with no damage to the lens box.

  Another very positive experience I have traded with Madison Avenue Cameras' for many years, since buying my first digital camera a Nikon 5600 during 2016. That I am still using Madison Avenue Cameras' as my first choice is testament to the many positive experiences over those years. My most recent purchase proceeded just as smoothly as all the others and the communications involving trade in items and balance etc,. were just what a customer requires when looking for information before making a purchase.

  Everything went really well when I traded in my 2 camera's and lens, for my new Sony A9, they were very helpful on the phone and they also organized the pick up from my home. I would certainly recommend using Madison Avenue Cameras.

  No problems buy this camera I tried to buy this same camera from Olympus, and there was a LOT of problems, mostly with customer service. I appreciate Madison Avenue Cameras' a lot.

  Great prices and service what's not to like. I've been buying from Madison for several years now, first was a Nikon DSLR with kit lens for my daughter who wants to start a new career as a food photographer, and a couple of cameras for myself - first a Canon CSC with kit lens and a Sony RX100 iv as an upgrade from my Fuji point & shoot camera. Prices are very competitive and delivery is very quick and very well packaged.

  Well impressed with this company! Ordered two high capacity batteries and a charger. I had an e-mail from then telling me that it was cheaper to buy the charger with one battery and then buy another single battery. They had amended the order and refunded me $110.00. Now that's what I call good customer service. Many thanks Madison Avenue Cameras.

  Don't use Madison Avenue Cams unless it is IN stock I ordered a backordered Leica M10-R and waited 9 mos. while they refused to identify where on the waitlist I was. They clearly put their interests ahead of mine in the end AFTER I had bought it elsewhere they delivered without prior notification. I returned the camera unopened. I still have a bad taste in my mouth months later. I had already bought lenses for it which now need to be sold. 2 stars in generous.

  Difficult to Find Same film once purchased I was very difficult to find what I was looking for...my word searches failed most of the time. Ref the Ilford 120mm film, I took multiple searches to find the item and key word searches failed. Failed because name changed I presume; therefore I had to go to the Ilford web site to determine the name of the product that I wanted which I had purchased from Madison Avenue Cameras' previously. Then come back to Madison Avenue Cameras. Just FYI, Amazon offers the exact film roll I wanted, cover of box being the same. Cheaper than Madison's product. But I am a Madison loyal customer; a couple of dollars difference is not an issue. But searching for what one wants could be easier. Thank you.

  Transaction was very easy and clean. Effortless! I would have rated the transaction 5 star but I did not because one of the Sigma bonus I already have four of and do not need. Now I have five. It also would have been nice to be able to exchange the item I did not need for another option.

  Love the prices so far for the holidays. I was a little disappointed that I had a tripod in my cart (Oben AC-1451 4-Section Aluminum Tripod with PD-117 ) that was on a flash deal but I had issue with my internet. By the time I was able to get back on the price had went back up. So I was only able to get one item and had to put off the tripod for now

  I purchased the Oben BE-117 Ball Head to use on my slider and it works perfectly! I love the simplistic design and the knobs work great. The quick release system is very is to use and the camera is rock solid on the Oben BE-117. Works perfectly Highly recommended this store!

  Great Store, could be easier to order and sel equipment. Over all great. -I have sold a number of things to Madison Avenue Cameras. I have read that the shipping is free, but when the label is emailed, it is not a paid shipping label. Also ordering can be complicated. I have tried to change my address several times, but things keep getting mailed to my previous address. I also have a Sony rebate card and in order to use it on your site, I have to re enter my old address.

  I hope things go better this time. I know Madison Avenue Cameras New Yorkers got hit hard.. I sent back a product for a return and it was during covid 19 lockdown. I don't know what happened to it or the money I was supposed to be credited to the store for a Mitakon Zhongyi Lens I changed my mind on the last minute. The problem was equal on both sides on blame but I would like to see if I could get my refund. I did send it back. Sorry on both sides. I still buy from them.

  Visited today to look at Hasselblad H6D-400c MS Medium Format DSLR Camera. Served by Davies M, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and spent circa 45 minutes with us. Talked us through H6D, plus various medium format cameras options and has certainly given me plenty to think about. Continued to be helpful even after it was apparent we weren't going to buy today. Excellent customer service, thank you. We'll be back once I've made a decision.

  The perfect relationship between cost and benefits! This Sony 24-70mm F/2.8 G Master! lens is fabulous! The weight of the lens and flexibility of the wide angle and moderate zoom make this a great street lens for NYC. The pictures are extremely sharp, the color and clarity or fantastic! Thank you to the expertise is the camera department at Madison's store. If not for your recommendation I would not have this utilitarian lens in my arsenal!

  Excellent quality, great service The Tokina atx-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF lens is excellent quality. Fast focus. Not overly heavy, can be handheld. Excellent picture quality. I use it as my go to lens. Can be used as a macro also. Madison Avenue Cameras provided fast and excellent service. Product arrived from NY to Jacksonville in 3 days. Another great job by Madison Ave Cameras'
