    First my favorite and also wife was no longer made or available, the one with the glorious passion fruit and others, I don't remember the name. Second the site said that by spending over $100 I will get free shipping, that didn't work, I tried with 125 and 150, so I ordered for 100 and paid 37 in shipping. Also I couldn't recover my old account and had a hard time checking out as a guest. Yes the chocolates are still good though.

    Long time customer. Yes, it's convenient to order online. But then the box arrives which, btw, is carefully constructed based on the season and weather influence. I give LMDC a 10.     Never have issues with the chocolate. Delivery was set for May 9th (ordered May 4th) for Mothers Day treat (May 14 - intentionally early so there will be buffer). Chocolate arrived a day late May 10th. Despite that my request day for delivery was May 9th and order being placed on the 4th, Berger refill was sent out on May 8th on ground shipping. The product did not get here for the Mothers Day despite ordering 10 days ahead of time.

    When my mother received the truffles that I sent her for her birthday, the card that I wrote was not in the box. Instead, there was a note from someone else congratulating a woman I don't know for her promotion.     The chocolate was good but they left out part of my order. When I contacted them they said they could send it or give me a refund. I said send it please. I was then told it was not available and I could have a refund or store credit+10%. It was an gift and 10% wouldn't cover shipping.

    Overall, the flavor was there. But the presentation was disappointing. The chocolates arrived with some bloom on them. And some of the bottoms of the chocolates were broken off in neat rectangles (exposing the ganache) which made me wonder if they were enrobed properly. The quality just wasn't what I've come to expect after decades as a Maison du Chocolat customer.
