This very easily could have been an Excellent rating. I purchased a clutch kit and one item in it was/is on back order. I was told at the time of order it would be two weeks. It is now 5 1/2 weeks since the order was placed. The communication was very good and I had to cancel the backordered part today. The cancellation went very smooth and the refund was credited in just a few seconds. Like I said, I would have loved to give an excellent rating but for the fact of the estimated 2 week backorder that turned out to be much longer. Not faulting Kaiser Willys but the question was about my order satisfaction and excellent it wasn't. I love Kaiser Willys and will continue to use them.

Most all of the parts are good and it's easy to get some help from Mike. It would be helpful to know if a part is of good quality and maybe rated, before purchase. Some stuff is junk and it would be important to understand the quality and fit, before purchase. Pelican Parts, will do just that and offer parts at different price points depending on how well it works. I understand, that it can't all be great, it wasn't all that great 80 years ago. From returns and feedback, Kaiser Willys is aware of the shortcomings of some of the parts. Overall, I think that 95% is decent.

Two items you can look at to improve Previously I ordered an intake exhaust manifolds for a GPW. I installed them but notice exhaust leaks. Due to frustration on my part and lack of time closed t hood and walked away. Now that my schedule has opened up I removed the manifolds and found that there was a large difference in the faces of exhaust and intake. That being a 1/16 of an inch, there by no amount of torque was going to get them to mount flush with the machines head. I removed the 1/16 height difference from the intake manifold via filing by hand. Your company is good but will have to continue to monitor the quality of manufactured parts. Customers such as myself need to be cautious and inspect parts, just because they are new does mean they are to proper specifications.

Love the website, diagrams, selection, etc. but on three separate occasions I order parts and many days later, by the time the parts should be delivered, I am notified that they don’t have the item in stock. My roommate ordered a steering wheel and waited 2 weeks before calling to see what happened and only then did they say it was back ordereded with no date estimate of delivery. They’re happy to charge your card for parts they don’t have. It’s 2024, please correct your inventory management system to avoid this frustration.
