  I have ordered two items from kaiserwillys.com, and been frustrated both times. The day after ordering each item, I was contacted by customer service to say that the item was out of stock. Why isn't that somehow listed on the website? Also, why do you charge someone's credit card immediately when the item is out of stock? I paid for an item two months ago and haven't received it, nor have I received any sort of update as to when that item might ship.

  I want to thank you for the feedback. We try very hard to match our inventory levels with our website, but it is a challenge with over 7,000 parts. However, we do need to do a better job. I appreciate you mentioning that you were contacted right away about the back ordered parts which gives you the option of cancelling and getting a full refund back or leaving the order open which reserves it for you when the items do come back in stock.   Placing orders is easy and website is great for locating parts, however, even "stock" items seem to take 2-3 days to ship and I have had an order placed for over a week now and haven't received any parts and have no idea if they are going to partial ship what they do have in stock or what is happening.

  The product was fine, but 170 dollars in postage (overseas) for a 50 dollar product came as a shock. I should have asked in advance, but I didn't expect it to be so much. My bad, but a general estimate on the web site would have been good.

  I have ordered a slew of parts since buying my 1951 CJ3A from Kaiserwillys and it has been a good experience. I recently ordered a starter motor and there was a type-O in the catalog that led me to believe it would fit my Jeep. It did not fit. I called and they had me send it back and made a full refund without any stipulations. Quick and Easy! I will continue to buy my Willys parts from them!

  I love this website. They have everything I need to fix up my cj2a. My favorite part is the shop by diagram section. Shipping has been fast and secure. I had a couple things on back order and its still came in quicker than expected. I had something I didn't want to wait on for back order so I cancelled it and the refund was within the day. Great website and team. They even put candy in your packages!! :)

  I ordered a long exhaust pipe for my M38A1. I received an email stating it would be back ordered. I emailed Kaiser Willys and asked how long it would take. The response was 4 to 6 weeks. I cancelled the order. I was charged a 20% cancellation fee for a product that was never shipped. I was not impressed.

  Mike, we didn't charge you a fee. These are part of a kit and discounted. You got a full refund on the item for what you were billed. We are one of the only places that bring our long pipes in out of Europe and are not selling the cheap ones that are bent / made wrong a lot of other places are selling. Sorry, the supplier in Europe has just been slow in getting these to us. They are due in any time now. Hopefully you will reconsider your review. We work hard for our reviews, and I see you have placed dozens of orders with us and we always want our customers happy with us.

  It was probably thru the post office and right now USPS is terrible for international shipments and customers have not been getting their packages. It goes by dimensional weight as well. UPS international is the best method there is for US to Canada shipments. Hopefully you will reconsider something out of our control. We are always happy to help.
