  Great place with knowledgeable staff! An actual person has answered the phone when I called to ask about a part. They took the time to go over what I was looking for to make sure I was getting the part I needed. Something you don’t get a lot of these days. Huge selection of quality parts that have actually fit! Usually a choice of them too. Show quality restore to something that will just keep your Willys up and running, they will be the pace to have it. At least order a parts catalog from them. Lots of great old Willys information you will enjoy reading through!

  I have a 1955 CJ-3B. Any part I have needed has been available at Kaiser Willys Auto supply. The instructional videos are very helpful plus friendly phone advice and information is always available and helpful. Always the first place I look for parts for my Willys.

  This place is great. If you have an old Willys and are looking for parts (and come on now, with an old Willys when are you not looking for a part) this is the place that is likely to have it. Well stocked with usually a choice of items. Any repro items are of quality, nothing I have received has been the cheap junk. These folks know Willys and the kind of parts we want to install. Someone has always answered quickly when I called and been extremely helpful with questions and answers about a part I have been looking for. Never had an issue with any part or order from them. Standard shipping orders received in 4 or 5 days. Faster shipping available too! Remember the JC Whitney catalogs? Their catalog reads like that, but strictly Willys parts! Vehicle ID descriptions, fun pictures and articles, a full frame or screws for tie downs, this is the place. Order a catalog, you will not regret it!

  James - we offer free shipping on orders over $98. Im not sure how much better we can do. Leaving us a 3 star review is a bit unfair I would say for something that is out of our control.. Any order under $98 we only charge actual and usually end up losing on shipping due to rates. Hopefully you will reconsider this review.   Perhaps I misunderstood, I thought 3stars was listed as average? Which in this case seems completely reasonable. There are companies who manage to find a way to ship a $50 dollar item for less than half the cost of the item. I feel certain you could as well.

  I'm sure referring to huge companies or places that have huge profit margins on their cheap parts and are able to do it. Both items you bought are US made and have a slim markup.... A good review goes a long way to help us and our families, and this kind of a review is frustrating to say the least. I think it is just uncalled for. We have free shipping on orders over $98 and always go to bat for our customers. Hopefully youll reconsider.

  I understand that you feel the need to defend your position. Consider this, you are an average company to a customer who (like me) is buying one small item. The feedback you requested is intended to illicit a response from you. You’re not happy with my feedback and are asking me to deny my experience because you are” American and always go to bat for your customers”. Ok fine, everything was great.   You didn't have to buy it. If you buy something from a company that has free shipping on orders at $50 - then I can only imagine what their mark up is on their items...Either way - I'm stuck with a bad review that was uncalled for.

  Instead of complaining about getting an”average” review, one might consider doing something above average? If $98 is your break even on shipping and you really can’t negotiate a decent price then spread the losses over the whole product line. People often stick a toe into the water. I want you to succeed.

The mirror arm bracket is in brand new condition . It was just one of those “ I just had to have it “ things that you can’t just let go . Thanking Kaiser Willy’s for having such original items .   Alternator kit 12V went in with only slight modifications, used 1/2"x 3/4" with 5/16 hole spacers in original generator mount holes, moved upper arm bracket from inside mounting location to the outside mount and used a 3/4" spacer between arm and alternator. What helped the most was laying both the alternator and the generator on their pulleys to line up the alternator bracket at the same time kept pulleys aligned. Also used a carriage bolt under long screw for nut clearance. Always had good service from Kaiserwillys and question answered.

  Bought the repro rims and 7.5x16 NDT tires for my '74 CJ5. All very reasonably repriced and products are top notch quality. Also note that the rims clear my front disc brake calipers, not by much but they clear so I don't have to use spacers. Looks so much better than my previous Summit Racing wheels and KM3s and now I no longer need the horrible looking rubber fender flares. Thx!

  I have ordered many parts from Kaiser Willys, and I have never had an issue with fitment, functionality, or quality. They have also been great in answering any questions I have had on technical issues. You may be able to find cheaper parts, but the ones they sell keep on working.

  I have ordered two items from kaiserwillys.com, and been frustrated both times. The day after ordering each item, I was contacted by customer service to say that the item was out of stock. Why isn't that somehow listed on the website? Also, why do you charge someone's credit card immediately when the item is out of stock? I paid for an item two months ago and haven't received it, nor have I received any sort of update as to when that item might ship.

  I want to thank you for the feedback. We try very hard to match our inventory levels with our website, but it is a challenge with over 7,000 parts. However, we do need to do a better job. I appreciate you mentioning that you were contacted right away about the back ordered parts which gives you the option of cancelling and getting a full refund back or leaving the order open which reserves it for you when the items do come back in stock.
