  I am in the process of publishing my first book. Rather than going with one of the “free” ISBM number from one of the online retail outlets, which can only be used on their site, I decided to buy my own so I will be able to put this book up for sale on multiple sites ind, if it should do well enough, in actual book stores. The Custom ISBN has a 1 business day processing time, so yesterday was the processing day, and this morning we sent the ISBN and barcode to the email address connected to the order.
