  Ordered cup as a gift. I’m glad I opened it nit just gave whole box as it would be seriously disappointing experience. Knowing how it looks I wouldn’t just just ordered to someone as a gift without preparing it. Mug, gift bag and note with wishes. One on top of another. Really? That’s how you receive your gifts? With bag/wrapper on the side? Seems like mug is in one piece so that’s thumbs up for manufacturer as all items where loose inside shipping box. No paper, no packing beads. I know tea doesn’t get broken but porcelain does especially in shipping.

  I really appreciate the range of loose leaf teas on offer by Kusmi Tea. They are also honest in their introductions to each tea. Also, if you order the refills then you can use less metal and unnecessary packaging. If the tea is for your own use then the tea is the star and not the packaging. Thanks for this My only comment is that for the new smaller tins that have (I think the 125g type), the seal is excellent before you open the inner can and that keeps everything super fresh, but once you open the inner metal seal, the outer twist metal closing is not great and lets moisture into the tin. It would be great if the storage could have a better seal. Thanks
