  It was good. Shipping was free and came in a couple days. Their clothes run about a half size small. I am typically a large, which is actually a little big and mediums a little small. So I got a 16-1/2 and it fit almost as small as a medium. A 17in tailored size fits perfect.

  Hammermade is an excellent alternative to fully custom shirts. The quality is extremely high and they ware well. This prompted me to do a quick closet check, and I have 21 shirts hanging and likely 5 or 6 at the cleaners. I think I have an abundance as they simply do not ware out. I am hoping to see some alternatives to "Plad & Plain" in the future, it seems that the styling has changed somewhat over the years, but I always manage to find something whenever I cruse the website. Lastly, don't heasitate if your contemplating a shirt from the web-site, they always look much better in real life than they do on-line. I rarely don't get a great comment on my hammermade shirts.

  Overall good shirt, nice fit on the shoulders and through the torso. Sleeves are a bit too long and the collar seems too big. Collar is odd with the undermounted buttons which causes the t-shirt part under the collar to fall over itself and look bent and not ironed, as if it needs more structure to prop itself up. Ends up giving a sloppy look some of the time. Still overall nice fit, nice material.

  Hammermade makes some of the best men's shirts around. They're pricey but excellent quality. I ordered some shirts on sale online. I had to return one because it was too large. The sizing method of Hammermade is confusing because it uses your neck size rather than your chest or arms. But the return was approved and made right away. I still find it hard to order the right size shirt online and prefer to go to a store.

  Overall I love Hammermade shirts, but there is one point of frustration... The new sales that you run are hard to manage. I purchased two shirts, both at $98 (it was marketed as a VIP only sale) and not two days later the shirts are going for less than $50 each. Price predictability would be nice, I feel like I'm being punished for being a VIP and buying early.

  Thanks so much for your feedback on our sale. Our VIP email was meant to offer the first choice and best selection of our sale items before it officially started on July 27th. It's very common that we'll lower the prices on certain items or do further discounts as our sale continues, but waiting for the cheapest price may mean that what you want sells out. However, the lowest pricing on our long sleeve woven shirts just started today on Aug. 8th and that ranges from $59.99-$69.99 - if you're seeing a different price somewhere, we're happy to look into that.

  Everything was good except sizing. Ordered a size up to an XXL to be on the safe side. It was way too snug and no refund. I cannot exchange for a larger size since this was the largest offered. I really liked the pullover but poor and in my opinion not a correct size fit. Mike

  I love this store as I have over 40 of their button up shirts and have started wearing their hoodies and T-Shirts. Only complaint I have is I wish the return policy was different for sale items. 3 days to return something is limited and only store credit is offered. At a minimum, I wish the return policy was longer. If your order arrives when you're out of town, you're SOL if you want to return.

  My Juktas Short Sleeve Button Down shirt came in without the limited edition tag stitched along the buttons. I love the brand because of the quality and attention to detail. I was disappointed that it got past quality control with this error. Customer service was pretty terrible with them not knowing the product itself and simply suggesting to return or exchange the item (item is no longer in stock in my size). I really enjoy their products’ fit and feel but after this experience I’m not so sure if I’ll be purchasing anything else from here.

  I have a number of Hammermade shirts. Sizing is important and these shirts tend to run on the smallish side. I normally wear a 16x15 and I go to 16.5 tailored in the Hammermade shirt and the chest and sleeves are perfect if you wear your shirts on the fitted side. The slim shirts are too tight in the chest. I am 6'2" and 200# with a thin torso. As for detail and quality, they are superior to any shirt I have ever owned. I get compliments every time I put one on.

  I really appreciate the quality, details and uniqueness of the designs. Not like the typical store-bought shirts, that everyone else has. I get compliments on them all the time! My only "complaint" is the actual prices for the shirts. I realize they are in seriously limited numbers, but I still feel it's a little steep.

  I have yet to be disappointed with the quality or materials for the price. This particular shirt has a wonderful cotton material reminiscent of seersucker but that does not wrinkle too much. It is lightweight and vibrant with quality details. I have been a customer for years and will continue to update my wardrobe as needed with shirts from them. If I wore a smaller size I would consider their pants and blazers etc as well, but I have mostly bought shirts and found them to be true to size as described on their website.

  I love Hammermade, its the only brand of button down that my husband not only loves but fits his athletic 6'4" build, he also has a wing span of 6'6" and these shirts FIT so well. I always order a few new shirts each year, he gets so many compliments whenever he wears his Hammermade. Great shirts, quality and price! Customer service is the bomb, they always help me reorder the right sizes and they get back to me same day. I miss the chicago store!

On occasion I get the pleasure of visiting the store in the Minneapolis St. Paul airport, I always look forward to seeing Allison.
