  Holy smokes, after thinking you will just get your passport thru the mail…you are WRONG….you still have to go in person and do everything…wow , so they filled out a form for you…I feel scammed…complete waste of money…just do it yourself…they were no help at all, you still have to show all your documents to the passport place…

  The process is easy to follow for renewing my TSA. In addition, thanks to my first use of GOV two years ago, I was able to obtain an expedited Passport update just in time for my trip abroad. I would not have made it without GOV .

  I found the ad for government plus on Facebook said it was quick and easy everything will be taken care of. I proceeded to fill out the information place of birth credit card and hit accept when I got on and created an account that brought me through the steps where I had to answer more questions and brought me food down to like step 11 where it says, you can waive the government fees For $100 a month subscription and the fees will be waived. This is not what the original ad portrayed once I paid I thought I was all done paying I still had to pay $76 when I got to the TSA office on top of paying government plus $97 When I thought that would’ve taken care of everything the ads are very misleading. Seems like a legal scam to me.

  This has been the worst experience Ive ever had regarding a passport renewal. It has been a year now and paid all the fees the passport. And months pass the picture I sent a few times was exactly what they asked for and when contacting them they say the pic did not meet the requirements which is not true. Dont pay these services its alot easier to get it done anyeere else. Alot quicker less hassle this by far one of my worst purchases and time consuming tramit process. If I could give minuses I would!!!!!! Ongping for over a year worst experience feel scammed dont try this

  If i could rate it lower, i would! i started this process in march, 2025. I couldn’t get responses to my questions; nor could i get the promised appointment until i told them that they were scammers. In the chat, i was promised things that didn’t come to fruition. I paid $97.00 and thought that was all i needed to pay; only to discover that i had to pay $76.75 at my appointment. I was told after the fact that the $97.00 covered the use of their software and the review to catch any errors. One can just go straight to most staples and fill out the information and save $97.00.

  They are a complete scam. I paid my $97, and their system would allow me to upload my documents that I scanned and emailed to myself on a business grade multifunction device. The document sizes were well within their limits, 86KB, 78KB, for front & back of DL and 504KB for birth certificate. I received no error message that the documents were bad, blurry or otherwise. Their tech support was / is useless. They take your money immediately but say it will take 3 - 5 days plus to get it back to you. You cannot delete you payment method from their website, so you'll have to change card numbers so they can't rip you off even more. You cannot delete your user account. They have to do it, oh wait they could do that the guy has been trying to delete my account for almost 5 minutes now, so they hold onto your account information forever for future rip-offs, spamming you and trying to glean more information you by phishing. They probably sell your information not to just other companies that data mine but on the dark web too. Don't do business with these guys they stink!

  I did not read anywhere on your policies that you will ask for a social security number before you will continue with the passport application. I will not give it and I would like to be reimbursed for both my husband and myself

  This site charged me $97. just to apply. It took almost 2 mos before I got a meeting (which is in another state!). I still have to pay another $75.00 for the pre check . DO NOT go through this site for anything! It is a RIP OFF!!

  Input my data in prep for TSA precheck application and then TSA dropped them from list of processors. Now they don't allow me to delete my data. And they're padding trustpilot reviews to keep their rating up. TP needs to scrub the fake reviews.

  Everything was very easy to understand until it came to putting pictures in the proper place. Between your help bot and myself I spent 6hrs trying to get it to work and it did I found it by accident. But overall this is an easy way to get documents that have been lost.

  I used this service to help get my passport application sorted out. I am disabled, so I thought it would be convenient for me to be able to gather everything up for them from home. Their review process is only supposed to take 3 business days. It took 3 separate tries to get my picture up to standard. Every time, over a week would pass with no update. They never responded to emails. I had to call them directly every time to get them to update my application so that I knew whether or not I had to retake my photo. That delayed my application by literally 2 months. My dad paid the same amount to have FedEx help him with his passport application in person at the exact same time that I paid Gov . He has had his passport for weeks. Meanwhile, I just finally got my photo approved. Now, I have to wait 8-10 days for my package from Gov , then take that to the post office to have it sent off for my actual passport. At the rate it took for Gov to assist me, I will now have to pay extra to have my passport application process expedited in order to receive it in time for my trip. Using Gov was no where near as convenient as they make it out to be. I would've been better off making the trip to FedEx with my dad. Heck, it probably would've been easier for me to not pay for ANY service to help me with my application after what I had to go through with Gov . It's not a scam, it's just really not all it's cracked up to be. I paid a premium for convenience, and it turned out to not be convenient in the least. And it's going to end up costing me more in the end because of how slow they are and how awful their customer service is. They are polite, just not helpful at all.

  I applied to renew my passport. Customer service is poor. They had me take a picture three times and told me they would give me back $15 for a professional picture. I went to CVS and had my picture made for $20. Gov sent me my packet with the form that had the wrong social security number. I emailed three times to get a revised form. No response. I ended up downloading the PDF from the government website and sent my own form and my own picture. This was very poor customer service. Do not think for a minute you are taking a short cut to get your passport. YOU ARE NOT! Do it yourself. Save time and money. What a rip off!!!!

  So far it's been very straight forward. I did have to ask for help with one step and was given easy instructions to remedy the situation. Take it back. I haven't been able to upload my Birth Certificate after numerous tries and no one seems to be able to help. Tell me just to call back. It's been over 2 weeks. Still no Pass Port and not helpful at all.

  Gov is a scam! $233 and 6 months later i have no passport! The support staff have no clue, all of their responses are s ripped of not automated. They never resolved any issues during the process and kept my money! One would be far better off to do it manually to get a passport. Other than National Debt Relief, who stole $8000 from me, this company is the worst! Do not use them.

  Gov software directed me toward the process of applying for a new passport when I qualified for a passport renewal because of my maiden name. I had to spend a significant portion of time chatting with agents to get this sorted out and wasted plenty of time. It would have been much simpler to just go through the US government's process instead. I would not use Gov for passport renewal in the future.

  It's is a scam. Like I see many others have commented. I paid for their service and protection services. Wasted hundreds of dallors. Takes weeks to complete a single step and eventually you reach a step that malfunctions and you can continue. Of course by then it's well past the refund time frame. Don't waste your money or your time on this scam. If their was a way to file a complaint I would but they aren't BBB accredited!!! So doesn't even deserve one star.
