  No customer service, tried to contact them could not understand their customer service personnel dint spear to speak English. I was told I made mistake on birth city cannot correct this on my own they promised it was corrected and still didn’t receive my tsa documents! So far not worth the money .

  I received the documents back filled out, however they were missing my parents information, my emergency contact information. All this had been completed. showed unknown which would be an automatic rejection. Very dissapointing.

  I did not get ripped off because I read the bad responses from everyone... I almost paid the $97 to renew my passport but realized the post office charged more than that and dug in to why so cheap. No where on the GovPlus site does it say that we will have to pay the additional amount which is $135 at the Post Office. I looked for anything that says this site is only to start your application. It falsely misleads you to think that all you are paying is the $97 and you will get your passport sent to you. They don't say anything about the extra $135 needed to finish getting it. I think the government should disassociate from this scam and I will be sending this site to the attorney general to investigate.

  I have always made a pilgrimage to a local office to apply for and pick up my passport. Using the Gov Plus website is a godsend and Well Worth the monthly fees to avoid those hassles. Paying a year's worth of fees on the website is easily worth the savings in time and effort of doing everything myself.

  I opened an account with Gov thinking I'd like to get a passport just in case I'd have an opportunity to vacation out of the US. After four months of getting a run-around from them I got nothing. This morning I went to the Post Office and applied for a passport on my own and it was easy. Do things the easy way and don't use Gov .

  I initially gave Gov Plus a good review, but after my experience trying to get my passport, I need to share the my experience and save others the head ache. Photo Hassles: It took forever to get the right passport photo. They dragged their feet in notifying me that I needed to retake it. Misleading Process: They requested a picture of my ID and birth certificate, leading me to believe they would send me my passport. Instead, I learned that I had to take these documents to the passport office myself. Keep in mind, when you get there, they require the original documents! Unexpected Costs: I received checks from them that were supposed to be my funds, but I still had to pay out of pocket at the passport office. Then went through the hassle of voiding said check. Long Waits: Dealing with Gov Plus took three months! If I had done the steps myself, it would have only taken three days. Final Warning: Do NOT use Gov Plus for anything. It's a complete waste of time and money.

  I submitted my passport renewal application 6/9/25. The website kept saying 3 business days to review. 12 weeks later I finally got a person that said my application wasn't submitted and the shipping label had expired. She said she submitted everything and it would now take an additional 12 weeks before I could actually see a renewed passport. You will not know any of this without speaking to a person. I don't recommend this online service to anyone. Once you start their process you can't resubmit a renewal application on your own which is the best option. So in total I'll be waiting a good 6 months to maybe actually receive my new passport.
