  I paid for expedited service with GovernmentPlus Passport Services, and it was a huge letdown. They started by mixing up a simple renewal with a new application, which was already a hassle. Then a representative made me redo my itinerary photo multiple times, which was just ridiculous. And after all that, they told me they’d have to refund and restart the application from scratch instead of just fixing their own process. Total fail on their part

  I needed to renew my passport and this website came up on a search. I paid $97 on July 17, 2025 and as of today (October 10) I have received NOTHING except offers to help with other documents! NO PASSPORT! None of the listed phone number are working. DO NOT use this service. Go to your local office and do it in person.

  Helped make the process smooth. Do wish customer service was better at resolving issues but other than that I would recommend. If you have any problems during the process I would say contact the national passport center to resolve.

  Company charged my Debt Card without providing any service and also set my charges up for reoccurring charges when this was a one time purchase. I tried to contact them to discuss the charges and ai response with no help in correcting the issue. I feel like I was scammed.

  GOV Plus is not the way to go. They sucker you into a subscription which is almost impossible to cancel, and is not necessary for anything once you have your passport. Actually getting the passport is difficult, since they will come up with multiple “problems” with the application, like rejected photos, or the need to certify your address and phone number. Then, when you don’t get your passport, and you fill out the application and mail it in yourself, they take out $11.99 from your bank account or credit card every month. If this is not a scam, it’s the closest thing to it I know of. Think about it. $11.99 a month from tens of thousands of people every month is a pretty decent amount. Then, try to cancel the subscription. This is October. I’ve been trying to cancel it since March. So don’t do it. Fill out the application, get your photo taken at CVS or Staples, make a photo copy of your license, take it to the post office and mail it in yourself.

  Online site that ask all kinds of information to renew a passport. I did that and it says that it takes 4 to 6 weeks for it to arrive. It's been 8 weeks, passport has not arrived so I called gov Plus. Got some nitwit who kept repeating himself about the system and repeating everything I had just told him and repeated it four or five times and couldn't get past any of that. When I told him I want a supervisor he put me on the survey link on the phone and then hung up on me. I got no satisfaction and wasted 20 minutes on that phone call with him telling me that it hadn't been filled out right and yet they had charged me for it. When I said why did you charge me if you're not sending me a passport, he said that that was to get access to their website and I asked why they didn't tell me that the passport wasn't filled out correctly and they said they don't do that. Don't use these people. Scammer scammer scammer scammer scammer scammer scammer scammer scammer scammer scammer scammer. I will be reporting them to better Business bureau and I hope everybody who dislikes them will do the same and closes them down. Thieves!

  Complete joke gave them all the info to get my social security card replaced took over a week and got a form to fill out to ship to SS call the actual government office and all I needed to do is go in and they take care of everything and get it do not use this service go in it is less headaches and so much easier I believe govplus is a scam they give you forms for a charge you get for free from a government site

  I am newly remarried to my hubby Paul Harralson, We took a Mexican Rivera cruise for our honeymoon in Dec 18, 2021. My husband is suffering from Parkinson disease and he wants to renew our vowels this Dec 18th on another Mexican Rivera cruise, because of his ability to still travel. I found going through Govt very easy to request my passport renewal in my new married name a great way to go. Thank you, Catherine Ann Harralson

  The instructions were easy to follow. Let me introduce myself: I'm Almira Brathwaite Smith who filed this application on behalf of Olivine Brathwaite. I have a Power of Attorney for Olivine because of some health issues. She is presently in the hospital and will have to travel off Island to the continental US to complete treatment. This travel may be within the next few days and would like proof of this application to present to Airline and TSA in the form of a letter or whatever may be acceptable.   I went on to this site with reservations - if it was too difficult I would get the forms from the Post Office. To my surprise it was quite easy and although I did not have all the required details I was given time to find them and submit - after receiving a SMS telling me to submit today. This I have done.

  I want to rebut Gov comments to my previous review. The ONLY holdup on my end was I had to retake the photo, which I resubmitted within 24 hours of being notified. The rest of their comments are irrelevant to why it still took 3 weeks to get their package to me. A recent review claimed receipt within a week. BUT, you can get the application going in less than an hour using the State Department website, paying only the Passport fee alone.
