  My go-to Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens on my A7iii. It's light and fast to focus. Great for landscapes and for closeups. In the long run, I am planning on using it for street photography.

  Staff are always kind and take the time to answer even the trivial of questions you may have. I purchased many cameras from them and also trade in for the best price you can get for your used equipment in midtown Manhattan. If you're in for used equipment, you can always find gems at reasonable prices, most of these items don't even have the time to make it on their website, so be sure to pop in.

  Significant upgrade from in-camera mic This VideoMic Go microphone is so easy to use and the sound quality is wonderful I use this mounted on my Canon 7D to record YouTube videos. It really does the job and all you have to do is plug it in. Love it!!!

  Went in to get information/buy my first pair of binoculars and was assisted by Andy. He was friendly and honest with the pros vs. cons with different kinds of binoculars. Although his knowledge on binoculars wasn't extensive, he was very helpful in finding out for me what I needed to know by referring me to his colleague or searching up the products. I received sufficient details from our talk to make an informed decision and ended up buying a pair of binoculars!

  Best camera shop around. Been to quite a few throughout Manhattan. Great staff and knowledgeable. They help you learn more about mirrorless or upgrade if you have any questions and need help. Haven’t seen prices close to theirs even at the MIGHTY BH Photo. Only shop I’ve ever heard of to have a cameras, lenses and gear with portfolio donating some of their proceeds to Oxfam.   Selling used Canon lenses. Asked them for a quote for some Canon RF lenses that i wanted to sell. Quote was good, i then sent them the lenses for valuation and received a response two days later with the price they quoted. Very good service from this firm. Will use them again.

  I was looking for some Swarovski standard binoculars and they got them sent from another one of their stores without even knowing I was going to purchase them.   Compact, lightweight, decent optics, great images - love it I paired this RF 50mm 1.8 lens with my EOS RP and got very professional results. A well rounded lens for Automotive photography and portrait photography. Sharpness is there and focus is just right for my applications. low light performance is nothing short of excellent. Keep in mind that you will have to update you firmware to use this lens to its fullest potential.

  Canon EOS Ra I love it! I come from a storm chasing background and my peers tried to get me to go with the mainstream camera makers, but I stuck to my guns. This Canon Ra is awesome. Packed with tons of features for the price you pay. Although the camera is a bit heavier than I wanted, I still don't leave without it, ever! Empire PHOTO rocks because the transaction was easy and they were the first ones to get them in stock. I am a cityscape photographer, enjoying storm photography and love the water resistance of this rig when I'm out shooting in the monsoons of Florida. Great job EMPIRE PHOTO and Canon USA!!!

  Came in on Saturday morning and was served by Andy and another young man who's name I don't recall but I spoke to most. Both excellent. Very knowledgeable about the Pentax K DSLR bodies and lenses.   Sturdy DSLR Nicely built. Bit heavier compared to its Pentax/Nikon competitors. Day photos are good but yet exploring the features of it for low light photos. Empire photo has a good user friendly website. Got the 5D MK IV camera fast in 2 days. The cover is ripped off and sent photos to the Empire photo's customer service support. So far the camera works fine.

  The people there are friendly and will help once approached but half of them seem overwhelmed so you may have to go find them. This isn't too much of an issue because there has always been a large number of staff when I have gone in. There is lots of open space for a camera store, and the selection is small but seems of high quality.

  Vortex 10x42 Crossfire The the purchase of the Vortex 10x42 binoculars was a good decision. We use them for bird watching and general use. They are light and easy to focus with a very respectable field of view. The Empire Shop deal was the best I could find.

  Outstanding business. Have been using their services for years and they've impressed me so much that they are now the ONLY camera store I shop at. Friendly and knowledgeable and never pushy. If you've got questions, they've got answers. Prices are very competitive. I've not only purchased several DSLRs from them, but I've had Paul work on several of my Nikon D cameras, used them for an online purchase and as a place to pass the time when the wife is shopping.   Empire Photo Shop is a small, family owned photography shop with friendly, knowledgeable staff. In the several years I have been shopping here, I have always been able to rely on their expertise to help guide my buying decisions. I have asked for specific items, including optics, and they have gone out of their way to find exactly what I wanted, and have internal financing options to make purchases more affordable when funds are a little tight. Their main concern is customer satisfaction and this customer is absolutely satisfied! Highly recommended. 5 stars!

  It is a pleasure to walk into Empire Photo Shop knowing that the staff and owner knows what they are talking about and look out for your best camera' purchase experience. I know I can purchase a DSLR a little cheaper somewhere else, but I enjoy the lifetime maintenance and repair. I bring in 3 camera sensors sometimes for cleaning and pick them up in two days knowing an experienced lens smith looked over my gear. I cleaned optics for years, it's nice to shoot and have the option to drop them off and fully cleaned and checked over.

  I recently received my Sony HXR-NX80 Camcorder from Empire photo shop. The turn around time was quicker than expected. Yea! plus the Questions that I had were answered quickly and professionally. Customer Service is top notch! I wish this company much success.

  I have purchased a Sigma 70mm lens From Empire photoshop. I am skeptical by nature and I was expecting a different experience than the one that I had with them.   Great service and product I recently ordered a Sony ZV-1 Digital Camera on a Monday and received it on a Friday the same week. The camera looked brand new and the price was great. I would definitely buy from them again. Great service and my order came earlier than expected !

  This was my first time using Empire photoshop services, so rightfully i was a little nervous about them but they exceeded my expectations in the end. I shipped my Sony ZV-1 camera On Thursday and received Yesterday. Excellent service and i would absolutely use them again.

  I bought a Canon M100 camera. It was advertised as Very Good. It was as they said. The camera has been great and worked perfectly. I love it. It was a good price and I have a year's warranty included. I would recommend empire photoshop. They are the real deal!

  Went there and bought my second Sony A7R IV camera. Staff was very helpful even when the camera I bought turned to be defective they were happy to exchange it for a different brand for a different cost. Great place. will continue to go here for future purchases.

  I have bought quite a lot of Gears from Empire Photo Shop and I have never had any major problems with quality and deliveries are usually on time. They are the best Camera store site that I have ever used. Only had one issue with an item and it was settled by their customer service in my favor. I look forward to many more years of shopping with them.
