These socks are perfect. I was prescribed compression socks of 30-40 mmHg and Duomed are both supportive and comfortable. They are also easy to style with different pant and shoe combinations while looking very normal.

I had received one pair of medven socks from my lymphedema care giver. I tried to order the same socks from you and even talked to a rep by phone. I didn't receive the socks with the beaded silicone band, I received the plain top ones. I tried them out and, as was my experience with other socks, they just rolled down and caused problems. When I contacted you again I was told that they do not have medven in my size with the beaded top. Very frustrating. Now I have a pair of socks I guess I will donate because I can't wear them and I have wasted over $40.00. I will find out where my lymphedema carer is ordering them from.

Answer by Thomas W MFlagPerhaps these were not intended to be compression socks at all. They were advertised as diabetic socks and no compression specs were given. Diabetics may need loose fitting socks to prevent tissue damage. But I was looking for crew-height compression socks, they were sold by the Compression Store, and these were the only choice in crew height socks sold by the Compression Store. I later ordered and received true crew-height compression socks from another ventor on Amazon for a much lower price--six pairs for the price of one pair of the diabetic socks. The Compression Store solicited a review at least three times, so I finally did review them, expressing my dissatisfaction.

I am very dissatisfied with these leg sleeves. I purchased them in hopes that they could provide both a sleeve under my brace and compression for my edema. They are a disappointment on both fronts. The rubberized "decoration" increases the heat of the sleeve and does not release the moisture under the brace. The compression is inadequate, probably between 10-20 rather than the needed 20-30 compression. I have tried the sleeve for a week and will return it if possible.

Perhaps the degree of compression is not of concern for others who might be interested in this product, but I would think anyone, especially athletes, would be hampered by the rubberized decoration and its inhibiting ventilation and moisture wicking. I had a very bad experience with The Compression Store. I had been wearing a pair of stockings that I had purchased from them and decided to buy another pair. The second pair was inches shorter in both the leg and the foot than the original pair and the width in the calf was over an inch smaller - so much so that I could not even get my foot into it. Unfortunately, I did not realize this until after the 30-day refund period. When I reported this discrepancy in size, Compression Customer Service told me that I had ordered the wrong size even though I kept telling me that both pair of stockings were labeled as the same product/same size. I even sent pictures showing the discrepancy. They refused to acknowledge that this second pair was defective. They wanted to exchange this second pair for a larger size. They finally agreed to exchange the defective pair for another of the same product/same size. This third pair fits properly. But it was the most frustrating experience and I will never order from Compression again.

Answer by Eda KFlagI am sorry. Those are lovely words and you have said just what you think I want to hear. I was literally begging for someone to say that there was a problem with the stockings and not with me. I went out of my way to not be accusatory. I kept saying that there must have been a problem in production or labeling. And I kept being told that the problem was that I needed a different size. There was no effort to accommodate me. And I was told that the replacement would not be shipped to me until I sent back the original and that I had a limited time to send them back. As I am counting down the days to my 80th birthday, it is not easy for me to get out to the post office or UPS. I do hope that you take my complaint to heart and that it might prevent another customer from going through what I did. I stand by my original review and by my statement that I will never do business with your company again.

Of the six pairs of replacement socks I received, three were the correct length, two were close, and one was at least a size smaller. I'll keep these and give the smallest pair away. I just don't want to be bothered with a second return. Why won't companies accept that they would be better respected and accepted if they would require consistency in manufacturing? Consumers shouldn't have to put up with "size" being meaningless. It's VERY frustrating. Please can't there be some sizing standards? People wear, and therefore order certain sizes. A company that enforced sizing standards among its various manufacturers would probably really flourish as it would be a standout company! Thank you.

Finding the items I wanted was a little complicated , at times. I am very satisfied with the hosiery(15-20mm) in size SL. They are easier to get on than some other brands, which surprised me. Your return policy is good, as I had to return 2 pairs of size B, which were too small.

Great customer service! I ordered the wrong size and called and emailed. they were so attentive and corrected the order before it was shipped! I love my Mediven Sheer & Soft Women's Knee High 15-20 mmHg. I have purchased at least a dozen so far. I was fitted in my local Compression Store. These have helped me manage my ankle and leg edema after open heart surgery. I wear them daytime and nighttime. They are amazing comfortable! I highly recommend The Compression Store!

I was told about CompressionStore.com by my insurance company and could not be happier with their service. Being newly diagnosed with post-surgical edema and needing stockings, they could not be more helpful and responsive! I was told to order a size that did not fit and they let me exchange them no questions asked. I then mistakingly ordered the wrong size and they exchanged for the right size no problem.
