    Everything about dealing with The Cheshire Horse has been excellent, with one exception. The website offers a discount if one signs up for their newsletter. I declined, yet receive promotional e-mails I did not expect and hoped I would NOT receive. Principal led me to decline rather than take advantage of a discount then unsubscribe. Sad to be penalized for going about things the proper way.

    Thank you for your kind response to my feedback on the socks. A refund would be appreciated as I'm on a fixed income. I will donate the socks to someone who needs them as they are so thin and I do not plan on using them.     Ordering was easy… Customer service was great. I had my saddle when expedited. The saddle was beautiful and perfect! They are a pleasure to deal with and I intend to get all of my Horse product needs from them going forward. We just got a new horse and I ordered a number of items from a few well-known, popular companies and was disappointed as items were delayed, on back order, and were not shipped when they were supposed to be. The customer service at some of these places was horrible, some of the reps were downright rude. Cheshire Horse was not like that… they were super nice and helpful when I called…they shipped the Saddle when they said they were going to and I received it when I was supposed to…it was packaged perfectly… the whole experience was flawless. I told my husband that we will be buying all our horse supply needs from them going forward. They are a great company to deal with.

    I ordered 2 boxes of 6 count UlcerGard so it was an expensive order. The website states it will ship that day and based on my location estimated receiving in 2 days. The next day I received an email asking if I wanted to sign for it or leave it on the porch and I responded immediately. After 3 days of checking my order status online and showing processing but not shipped I called Cheshire Horse. It was a Saturday and they were busy and took a message. A few hours later a rep called, apologized for their error and shipped it express at no cost to me. Rating 4 stars because it took following up to get my package but once I talked with someone the service was excellent.

    Unfortunately, the saddle I purchased as brand-new condition & full retail price arrived with a cosmetic scratch on the left flap. I reached out to Cheshire in a timely manner to see what could be done and they did apologize and said they have issued a 10% refund that would be back in my account in 3 business days. I was disappointed this happened as well as they automatically decided what the solution was because I ideally wanted to return the saddle to get a .5" size smaller (I think Wintec seats must run a little larger) within my 2-week trial period anyway and even if not, I would want a new one without a defect shipped out. Also, it has been 2 weeks since that email and I still haven't received the 10% refund. I do not see myself ordering from The Cheshire Horse again.
