  After receiving my order I emailed them a question pertaining to the product I ordered. I was less than impressed with the color, how runny it was and being unable to thoroughly mix. I followed per instructions as shaking the can for 10 minutes, then I shook it for additional 10 minutes, then I padded it with a drill for 15 minutes, and it still had unmixable white streaks throughout the paint. I asked if they could advise and if that was normal and never received a reply. I would stay away from sea hawk cukote shark white.

We did receive your email and our customer service department did respond immediately to your concern; however, we did not hear back from you, perhaps our email landed in your junk folder. The color you reference is for Shark White, which is a pinkish/gray color (because of the added copper and copper color) like shark skin, because it is a copper based paint and it can’t be pure white when copper is added.

  The two quart cans of Pettit Prop Coat Barnacle Barrier 1792 were severely dented (unlikely during shipping based on the packaging), but no leaks, and at least you added staples to secure the lids and cover them with tape. Website needs a lot of improvements. Cannot access order history easily, and when I do, I should be able to click on a prior item shown so I can re-order (what a missed returning customer opportunity for you!!!). No option to delete my credit card from My Account page (I had to create an order so that I could delete my credit card).

  So, I have been buying from Bottom Paint Store for over 6 years. Every year the paint comes all banged up. Last year I could not even get the lid back on. This year I got 2 gallons in 2 boxes. One box had the nice, closed cell black foam. No damage. The other box had the same old white Styrofoam, which is useless and can't handle the weight of the heavy bottom paint. The Styrofoam was in many pieces and the can was all banged up. From now on all heavy bottom paint should be shipped with the black closed cell foam.

  I've used this product and store for quite a few years now. I haven't put the paint on yet but it arrived timely and for the most part undamaged (one small dent in a 2 gallon order). I realize it's hard to prevent damage but maybe one day .......

  Shipped super fast, the only issue i have is when i ordered aluma hawk boat paint and paid to get it shipped to Canada, a day later it got cancelled and refunded because it couldnt ship to me. The exchange rate when i got my money back, i got less that what i paid. Maybe dont have the option to ship out of the US if you cant. Not a huge deal but im short 11 bucks for it. So for that ill give 4 stars.

  They were great getting us the gelcoat. The actual color we ordered had become a special order item and not a color they normally stock. They had to custom blend the color. They emailed us to let us know and said it would take a little more time for delivery. It was only a couple days. Color match was spot on! Excellent job! Very satisfied! We will be using them again with future gelcoat repairs.

  Purchased (2) different orders with two gallons each. On both orders they did not send me the correct amount ordered. An on the second order I had them send me one more gallon to complete my order. Well, they sent me four pints. I know four QUARTs make a gallon, but this is not what I ordered.

  Very good material, gel is high pigmencovers eres very well, with additive dried in two hours (or less) and is ready with no film. All the pigmented gels I have used from here performed very well,, this particular white Sanded excellent and buffed to a hard luster. I did tint the gel to give it an aged look to match a 10 year old Nitro and it turned out better than Perfect. It would be nice if Bottom Paint sent out small containers of tint like my other vendor's do but all in all, with there shipping practices I give a 5 star rating and would recommend. Have not tried there clear gel but that's next on my agenda. My company enjoys finding the best materials available for our customers and longevity is key.

  I liked the paint even though I was sent the wrong color. I ordered Blue and received Aqua. My project was small and didn’t wither hassles of returning it so just did the project in Aqua.
