  I've a small cottage by the seashore and periodically the trim needs refurbishment. In the past I had used a variety of 'top' brand paints, but, invariably they have failed within a year or so of application. A friend mentioned epoxy paints. Intrigued, I did some research and discovered a marine paint which would match my requirements for durability, no flaking, dusting or pealing. That paint was BlueSea and it was handled by Bottom Paint Store. It is now a couple of years after application and the gloss remains with no signs of dusting or failure. Very satisfied and thankful for Bottom Paints handling this product. When the time comes, I'll be buying it again... but I don;t expect that to be soon.

  The bottom paint that I've gotten from the Bottom Paint Store performs well at a much better price than "name brands". I had been using Vivid but found that the Shelter Island Plus worked the same at a 35% savings.

  Who ever packed the paint in the box was never trained to pack a package for delivery. There was no padding on the bottom of the can, and there was no padding on the top of the can. There was crumpled paper on both sides of the can. How the gallon of paint got here without bursting, I don’t know.. the bottom of the can expanded out, and the top of the can was rounded up. They did put the safety hooks to hold the lid on. I called them and asked about my can of paint, and was told to go to Home Depot and buy an empty can to put the paint in. At my expense, which was $7.99 which I had to.

  Store came through on gelcoat products I needed quickly at the best price with personable customer service. Only constructive criticism is that tracking info online was not readily available leaving me in the dark until the eleventh hour as I was unable to find my order online. But in the end not a big deal. This was my first store experience and likely not my last.

  Great service — we’re very pleased with the deliveries, even accounting for shipping delays outside of the store’s control. Products arrived as listed and in good condition. We used the Seahawk Paint Stripper, which worked as designed once we determined the optimal dwell time and used painter’s plastic to prevent it from drying out. However, the application instructions could be improved to help reduce the learning curve and minimize product waste. Including tips beyond the manufacturer’s directions or offering tutorial videos would be a helpful addition for future users. Thanks again — we’ll definitely be ordering from you at our next haul-out.

  The product that I ordered came in very fast time,the only bad thing about it was it was supposed to be a quart of gel coat but ended up only being 22 ounces in one bottle and 26 ounces in the other bottle it’s high enough without getting robbed on the amount

  Our high school senior capstone project is to build a concrete canoe. And we found that the Bottom Paint Store has microspheres which meet our requirements. They were easy to work with and we had the glass microspheres within two days of ordering them - much faster and more affordable than other suppliers.   Found this product on line. I was looking for paint to coat the bottom of our Fiberglass fountain that has water standing in all three bowls during the summer months. this paint is a heavy paint and the light blue color is exactly the color my wife wanted. Ordering was easy and delivery from Florida was quick and damaged free. This paint for a quart is very pricy but I hope it last and does not scale off or bleach out in the Sun.
