  the paint goes on very well . I found it quite toxic so I would advise a good respirator. the instructions dose not give an overcoat time table ( if I wait a day or two before the second coat do I have to sand it ? Also the can says not intended for high speed boats this boat will go bout 40 MPH . this would be good stuff to put on the lable . Best Dave.

  I have ordered paint from you in the past and ordered a few weeks ago.. I had wondered before if I had actually received a full gallonof paint. This year I measured very carefully while applying and I was short a pint. When I opened the gallon the paint was at least an inch below the top of the can. You may package by weight but you sell to buyer by the gallon.

  Hello, We thank you for your purchase and for being a loyal customer. Also, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand your concerns regarding receiving a full gallon of paint and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We discussed this with the manufacturer, please see their explanation below. We fill to 9.5 pounds and the gelcoat is 11.5 pounds per gallon, so it should have roughly 105oz out of the 128oz. Our prices are per pound, so assure your customer they are not getting ripped off. If we filled it to 11.5 pounds, we would charge that much more. We must leave headroom in containers, per the DOT. If there is no headroom in the container, when you drive over the mountains and the pressure changes, the can would leak or explode. I’ve seen it happen with drums that were overfilled.   I waited for the haul out before reviewing so that I could see how the last application of bottom paint held up. I'm happy to report that after two years in northern Puget Sound there was no hard growth and only a minimal amount of slime/soft growth after a winter of inactivity. Everything was clean after pressure washing and it almost looked like it didn't need paint at all. The purchase price and free shipping make this a very good choice for my boat.

  I can't beat your Flexdel Armor Antifouling Paint for my aluminum boats, outdrives, & trim tabs. It works great and it's less money than the other aluminum antifouling paints. Also, I'm repainting an old MirroCraft and look forward to using the Aluma Hawk Boat Paint by Sea Hawk Paints that I just got from you.

  Great customer service. The paint came right away! This was our second paint order from the site. When I opened the box the paint can had a small de t and the paint leaked out from the handle just an little bit. I called customer service and they took care of it right away. I sent pictures of the can and the box and a new can wa shipped instantly. Thank you for great customer service.
