  The paint Was very thick. However, after following the instructions, I found it difficult to work with. It ruined anything I used to apply it. The first coat I rolled. It left an almost Orange peel affect. I sanded it, and then used a sprayer. It was impossible to clean afterwards. The finish, after some time getting the pressure right, was very coarse. I am going to 180 grit sand and cut it with 25 percent paint thinner see if I can smooth it out. Not worth the extra time. The color is not great either. Maybe it will work better for you. I'm not happy with this product

  Thank you for the update on this product and the application difficultly. If needed the manufacturer only recommends the thinner MEK as all other thinners will not work with this formula; spraying this paint needs up to 50% thinner used.

  I have used them twice now, both times I felt the price was very competitive, shipping was very quick and the product were exactly what I was expecting. I was a bit surprised that either I can't locate it or they do not handle the thinner for the product I purchased.

  Ordering special marine paint from Bottom Paint Store was straight forward on their website. My order was processed and shipped the same day. I received my order 3 days later from Florida to Arizona. My order was shipped by UPS ground shipping. Due to UPS handling of my shipment, I received my gallon of paint damaged and paint had leaked out inside the box. I immediately notified the Bottom Paint Store by email with a photo of the damaged can and spilled paint inside the box. I received an email about 2 hours later stating they would send a replacement gallon of paint. It wasn’t their fault but they stand behind customer service and really went out of their way to remedy the situation. With the photo evidence of the damaged paint can, I hope they get reimbursed from UPS for damaging my paint. I’m expecting my replacement paint tomorrow. 5+ stars to the team at the Bottom Paint Store.

  I have bought several different items from the Bottom Paint Store and my experience has been very good so far. I just purchased gelcoat and styrene a few weeks ago and today I am purchasing Bilge Coat. I like the free shipping due to a lot of site making their profit off the consumer theiugh their shipping and handling.   We appreciate your business and your feedback. Our paints ship in new condition but sometimes due to the weight of paint damage can incur during transit if not handled carefully. Shipping takes care to use UPS recommendations but often boxes are stacked or dropped and can dent or even get crushed at times.

The only thing about the paint was that there was a solid at bottom of can I could not mix , it was stuck to bottom and some on wall. Which makes me wonder if my paint will be missing key components to help adhere to boat or if it changed color any from that. But otherwise thank you.
