  The book is great first of all. Second, it was extremely well wrapped and protected and taken care of. In best conditions. The driver called me as I wasn't home, although I knew about the parcel I needed to work. He was very professional and asked me for directions about a safe place.   What i want to point out that I’m disappointed about is the fact that : although i paid a rather high UPS delivery fee of €58 to deliver to Singapore, when it reached the airport here, I was notified by UPS to pay an extra S$20 for brokerage fees. On top to that, since the seller didn’t input any freight charges in its invoice, UPS took the liberty to declare the freight to be S$400 over, resulting in my “purchase” to be subjected to SG gst taxes of S$35 over. This is plain madness, my purchase to Booksforchef was only €125, and would NOT to be subjected to gst. And should have covered any delivery charges for it to arrive at my doostep. In the end, i paid S$55 extra. That’s definitely a boo.

  I was imposed an additional GST tax amount in Singapore due to BooksforChefs missed out to declare the shipping fee as informed by UPS shipping company. I have written email to BooksforChefs more than a week ago and till to date, I didn't receive any reply from BooksforChefs. Such an unpleasant shopping experience with BooksforChefs
