  Overall the ordering process was fine. There was an issue with my order not being fully completed but not due to an issue with bestmaterials but rather with the vendor so that can't really be helped although it was frustrating to have to deal with when it was a significant change.

  This item was very loosely packaged in a flimsy oversized package with large bubble air cap. When it arrived, it was all gnarled and twisted into an ugly mess. It only cost around five dollars, but the shipping and handling cost was around ten bucks. I would have gladly paid five dollars more for it to have been shipped in a rigid cardboard box.

  BestMaterials.com & ZURN are VERY BAD Businesses! Have wasted over 2 weeks with Best Materials & ZURN! Best Materials Online Company did NOT provide the items AS SPECIFIED AT THEIR ONLINE SITE. Shipped me $115 Floor Drain Grate w/ NO SCREWS to attach it. When I complained...they had ZURN ship the WRONG COLOR SCREWS which stick out like a sore thumb. Neither Best Materials nor ZURN will provide correct matching screws (as per Online Description specifies). Bronze/Nickel Floor Grate w/ Silver Screws....LOOKS HORRIBLE. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH BEST MATERIALS or ZURN OR YOU WILL END UP WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Please warn other customers against these online businesses. Thank you!

  They gave me a shipping date of 2 weeks after my order was placed. I received the products in good condition and even faster than they had stated. I needed the shipment in a timely manner so I placed the same order with another company and received the second order 3 days before my order from Best Materials. There wasn't a problem on their end. The shipping was just slower.

  Placed my order and received an email 7 days later thanking me and my order would ship in a week. 2 weeks from placing the order to the shipment. I canceled the order. Ordered from another supplier and received it in 3 days. Summers are pretty short in MN. If you got plenty of time for your project I'm sure they would work fine.

  Needed 1 - 2.5" backer rod to do a test joint. Could not locate a single on line and feared the shipping price. Called support and they got me to the right place to order a single. Shipping was shockingly lower than anticipated. Once ordered, the order and shipping status came easily and accurately. With a good test I'll certainly order a case of backer rods. Excellent from start to finish!!
