  42nd Photo is a great shop both online and on the high street which is my primary place to shop but with the new Kase filter holders I had to order them online as there was no stock at all. I got them sent to my house the day they came into stock at no extra cost so very pleased with the service as always.

  The FUJIFILM GFX 100S Medium Format Mirrorless Camera is phenomenal for astrophotography. It is very easy to manage changing shutter speed and iso speed on the new GFX100S. Very simple and straight forward, not too much of a difference honestly from the analog style. Goods arrived quicker than expected. Very happy with the service.

  JVC GY-HM170 The JVC GY-HR170UA is a great camera for the money. Just learnt to use the features other than shooting in auto. Non of the pro cameras are meant to shoot in auto. If shooting in auto save your money and just buy a consumer video cam. This is my second JVC that I have purchased from 42nd Photo. Once again great price, great camera. Easy to use!

  Not happy swapped my canon gear $60 worth for Sony gear got so much two weeks after had to order and still not got some of it after a month later and it’s been paid for and they keep saying waiting for Sony to deliver it so not happy other than that the lad in shop was ok

  Great shop & service 42nd PHOTO is a great shop for photographers of all types from starters to full professional as the staff not only sell equipment they use it and understand it. I find the staff in the New York store very friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable in photography and video equipment. I love the shop as the staff take the time to talk you through new equipment and give the benefit of their knowledge. The staff also get to know their customers and what their systems are and can tell you offers and new equipment you may be interested in. The photo events are also well run and very interesting and I feel worth their cost as I improve my skill and meet some great people both local other photographers and the guest photographers who run the events.

  Defective Products right out of the box 42nd Photo does a good job getting the product off the shelf and into your hands; however, my first Ninja V was dead on arrival, the second delivery I just noticed one of the batteries in the kit is not taking a charge when it shows two blinking red lights on charger and immediately goes dead on Ninja V.

  Best price fast shipping 42nd Photo really delivered! I love my new computer and it arrived within 48 hours of ordering. They have the best prices in the industry. Also picking it up from 42nd Photo was pretty straightforward and easy, but not super easy in the sense that they made sure they were giving it to the right person, which I found great from a security aspect. I hope to do more business with this establishment in the future. Thanks again. If you're looking for a powerful small laptop then this one is highly recommended.

  Great products always in stock, unlike my local camera store. 42nd PHOTOGRAPHY always has great products in stock. My local camera store doesn't have much inventory and much of what they do carry is aging and dusty. After much deliberation, I just purchased the Elinchrom ELB 1200 Hi-Sync Flash Head. Shipping is free and someone has to sign for the delivery which makes me feel safe.

  Telescope not 100% functional After receiving and opening the box. I checked to make sure everything was there, which it was. However, the red finderscope does not work. I even replaced battery with a new one 4x and it still does not work. Now I have to figure out whether to replace something that is brand new or return for refund and buy from another retailer. It's a shame I waited over a month for the item to be in stock just for it to arrive in substandard working order especially for the price that was paid for it.

  I asked that 42nd Photo would keep a Leica SL2 with 24-70mm f/2.8 kit aside for me until I arrived in Manhattan. As a new model, it seemed in relatively short supply and as I was only to be in New York a few days wanted to be sure of obtaining one. I couldn’t do an online purchase as I was in Shanghai China and did not want to use a very weak and unsecured Wi-Fi to do a payment. It was just enough to send email. 42nd St Photo kept the camera for me as promised. Great service. Thank you.

  I bought this FUJIFILM X-T30 II for Photographing in forests of jeeps in nature and short videos, it's an excellent piece of equipment with tremendous amounts of versatility. Fujifilm's best known for it very pleasing color science, the X-T30 II boasts great autofocus and continuous-burst rates. I'd recommend reaching out to 42nd St Photo's new virtual video-chat department and having them demonstrate the cameras for you!

  I was considering a shoulder bag, but the folks at 42nd St Photo told me about this Lowerpro ProTactic 450 AW II. Comfortable even slung over one shoulder, and can hold a Fuji GFX 100S with a 100-200, 80, 30, Fuji XE-3, chargers, batteries, laptop, with room for one more lens easily inside the bag, and a tri pod on the outside. No regrets so far!!

  Great Product, Excellent Customer Service I needed this Ikelite blue water barrier filter for an underwater camera housing which can be tricky finding a filter that fits. I spoke to gentleman there who was kind and knowledgeable, and said a return was no problem it the fit was off. It fit perfectly and allowed dozens of great dive videos from my recent trip. Thanks!

  Always better than I thought it would be. When I opened up the box and saw the build quality I was very impressed. When I fully extended the tripod and pressed down on it with some weight I was impressed with the stability. The head is built great and has plenty of adjustments. Works great with my Canon 90D. I can't wait to take it out into the field and I Would buy again from 42nd street photo.

  The drama of the missing part. I purchased a Manfrotto Tripod head which arrived minus the pan bar. I emailed 42nd PHOTO late in the evening having a whinge. I also gave them a one star rating on Trustpilot. At 9.10 the following morning I received a phone call from Kate advising the part had been ordered from Manfrotto. The part arrived within 24 hours so all is well. It is easy for a company to appear good when all goes according to plan, but it's how a company deals with complaints which really matters. In my eyes, 42nd Photo demonstrated how seriously they take customer service and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Well done 42nd Photo and well done Kate. Top marks

  My experience with 42nd street photo was very good, service and delivery was fast and Most importantly my Canon 90D was Delivered promptly as indicated. I have only had it for a month and this far I am completely satisfied with it. My only issue that I had as an is that the cord that came with the battery charger was of the European type, so I had to purchase a new one. Otherwise, no complaints!

  Very Easy and Straight Forward The online order experience was easy and I received my Sigma 18-35mm lens in a timely manner, I paired it with canon 90d and my results were amazing, The build quality is exceptional, feels compact and good quality. Reflections at low light is minimal compared to other lenses and I really love how the lens captures light and has a perfect zoom with an amazing depth of field. I am happy with this purchase.

  EOS Rebel T5i DSLR Camera with 18-55mm Lens by Canon I love this camera. My husband has the same camera and I have coveted it since the day he got it. It's great! The stock lens is very nice too but I bought a 50mm lens also to get that nice blurry background. I'm extremely pleased and I'm glad I made the jump to a grown up camera. I also highly recommend doing business with 42nd Photo specifically. There price was better than competitors and their delivery was mind-blowing. I ordered it three days before Easter and it was here by Sunday with no shipping fee.

  Quick to deliver I ordered the ZEISS cleaner as i was in a hurry to clean up my sensor on my Nikon which had a stubborn crescent stain on it . I was surprised that not only was it the best price available but it also arrived in only a couple of days . Sensor sorted and one contented customer.

  Beware: Gray Market Cameras Not Marked conspicuously Be warned that 42nd Photo sells gray market cameras with listings almost exactly the same as those authorized by Canon. Not obvious that the camera body in one of the two advertised kits was a grey market product with a European warranty and European electrical charger. Deceived and disappointed!

  This JVC GY-HM250 camera has a beautiful image, I take it into Wirecast for church services and stream out to Facebook live. I love the ability to access the menu from the same streaming computer, without getting a ladder out, to change settings on the screen of the camera. The shipping was quick and easy! I could not be more satisfied with my camera and the price! what a steal! 10/10 would recommend

  I will always buy Canon products and use 42nd Photo. This was a wonderful purchase. The camera is amazing. I can't wait to learn to use it on the manual settings...it is easy to use (on automatic), takes amazing pictures. But more than that...I received wonderful service when I got in touch with 42nd Photo.   I wanted a small camera to carry in my jacket pocket when walking or on my motorcycle rather than carrying a bag with lenses. This RX100-VI fills the bill.   Vortex Viper HD 20-60x85 Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing) If you need a spotting scope you can't go wrong with the Vortex Viper. This spotting scope is very clear with great light gathering. The fine focus adjustment is smooth and easy to use. Sales associate Jonathan was great. He took the time to explain everything to my wife.(The scope was for her). seems well made and she is learning to focus on birds .

  Fujifilm Xt3 is outstanding! My recent switch from Sony to Fujifilm was an eye opener. Fuji has changed my approach to photography. The XT3 design and build quality is outstanding, never thought a camera brand would have this much impact on my love of photography. The package came like someone opened it I took a picture of it and I was going to call Fed x to let them no but didn't the camera box wasn't damaged. Soon I will order a lens from 42nd Photo.
