  Very Nice Lens I purchased the Black-Chrome edition of the Summilux 50mm with the matte black finish. It's a beautiful lens. The weight is 448 grams (and not as 42nd Photo are stating) 335 grams (which is the weight of the normal 50mm ASPH in black). The lens was on backorder but became available within a couple of days. As usual, great job of packaging and timely shipping by 42nd Photo. I love this lens!

  Does the Job, but not the best anymore. It's not exactly the lightest monopod, but that's to be expected with aluminum, and a Manfrotto head like this one. There are now more stable and more reliable monopods out there, especially considering the price. Pictures included are just in case you are thinking about getting this monopod, at least you'll see some closer details that aren't product shots.

  OK folks, at last I received the exchanged lens from 42nd Photo. Unfortunately, this lens is also opened box - seal was broken. However, this lens show 9 or 10 condition based on 42nd Photo used rating scale vs the previous one. I decide to keep the lens as I really want the lens. I'm not sure why 42nd Photo didn't sell these items as opened box. Probably that would make 42nd Photo reduce the price? I think so. Anyway, I'm happy to get the lens but not really happy with how 42nd Photo handled these such expensive and collectible items. Now, I'm off to go shoot and will have fun with this lens.

  Speedy delivery & genuine product I was reluctant to purchase a 5d mk 3 from 42ndphoto.com after I compared the price on the website with high street prices in Manhattan.   Excellent Tele-extender for Canon camera & lens products! The canon extender EF 1.4X III works perfect with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III and Sigma Telephoto 150-600mm Sports lens. The autofocus communicates perfectly well with my Sigma Telephoto. Perhaps a slight loss of clarity. Great addition to my Canon collection from 42nd Photo thx for your fantastic service.   Customer service representatives have no clue about returns/refunds cross the border with Canada and how it works. They've told me wrong things few times, including one of the managers... This started by sending me the wrong used lens once (Rangefinder, instead of Mirrorless Tamron), and then they couldn't unwind cross-border issues, so I was out of the pocket for the 13% HST... Otherwise, very, very good shop with great selection and niche items, good return policy and fast shipping.

  Missing Warranty Card & Mismatched Serial Numbers Purchased a Nikon Z7 II from 42nd Photo. The box arrived without a warranty card. I contacted 42nd Photo and Nikon, Nikon asked me to send them a photo of the serial number and the box, Nikon says the the serial number does not match any serial number in database and is missing digits. Have never had this happen with 42nd Photo before. Will see how it resolves. So far my inquiry regarding a missing warranty card has gone unanswered. I can't comment on the camera itself, since I don't know if I am holding a real Z7 or not :'

  Good addition for my Olympus camera I have purchased photography equipment from 42nd street photo for years. They have a wide range of equipment, good prices, helpful customer service, and useful reviews. I have visited the store when I had occasion to go to New York and it is impressive. About 3 weeks ago, I purchased a Panasonic 45-150mm lens, I am just getting started in photography and videography and the glass looks higher quality than the previous lens I had. It's Great in low light situations. Autofocus is much quicker than the zoom lens varieties and and doesn't overweigh my gimbal. Overall I'm very happy with it and Am Glad I made the right choice, keep up the good work 42nd STREET PHOTO.

  I spent several months looking for a DSLR camera & a company to deal with, I made my decision from reading reviews as I wasn't sure what to expect. The service from 42nd street photo was fantastic, before placing my order I rang jus to have a chat with them so I could get a feel for their customer service & I couldn't fault them. Finally my Canon 80D camera and accessories shipped the same day that I ordered them and they arrived after 4 days. Everything was in perfect, brand new, unopened condition and worked perfect.

  Pretty impressive for a point & shoot I was able to order an Olympus TG-6 waterproof camera and all Olympus accessories (extra battery, carrying and protective cases and strap) that I wanted all in one place and the picture quality was fantastic, the Auto mode automatically adapted to almost every picture environment I tried it in. I can't wait to get outside with it. 100% satisfied with the purchase.

  Defective camera straight from the box I bought a point and shoot camera from 42nd street photo that was defective straight from the box and When I reached out to the customer care I was told that since it's been over one month nothing can be done. I e-mailed the manufacturer and got no reply. They won't be seeing my business again, I will stick to Amazon.

  Canon 1D Mark IV Purchase I have had great results shooting football, basketball, soccer, field hockey, and many nature shots of birds. Great for high speed action photography under all conditions. The higher ISO range allows for excellent images in low light situations. A phenomenal tool. I would like to buy it again in future!!! Their phone customer service was also excellent. I'm extremely impressed and will certainly go to them first in the future.

  The best in one package by Leica I got the Leica Q2 about four weeks ago. I like to shoot mostly people - family, friends, and street - with an occasional landscape or nature photo. The only caveat I will mention is make sure that if you buy the Q2 new that it comes in a white factory sealed box (with the original camera box inside) This is how Leica ships it to retailers. The first time I received the Q2 it was not in the factory sealed box & the camera hood was missing. But no worries as 42ndphotography took care of the replacement without question. I'm so glad I purchased this expensive camera through 42nd photo as they continue to provide the best customer service in the business. Have fun with this lovely camera!

  Great way to get gear in a hurry I needed a Haida M15 filter holder adapter ring in a hurry, due to an accident with the previous one.   Poor customer service and a horrible camera The ordering process was so easy and straightforward and the Canon PowerShot SX70 arrived on time but I am a little disappointed with the size, the weight and the general feel for it. I Bought it for my trip to Kansas and ended up using my phone instead. Very disappointed.

  Best piece of gear I bought in 2022 Upgrading from the Ronin M, this RS 2 is a beauty! We're using cinema cameras filming in 6K on the RS2. It handles it so well. The setup, balance process and workflow are such a change from the M. Absolutely everything I was hoping it would be. Incredible gimbal and besides a great build it comes with a very nice case and a handful of accessories

  Quality vs Price For the price of this JVC GY-HM170 camera it is a solid value. The image quality is average at best and becomes noisy very fast. The monitor is absolutely terrible and a disgrace. The top handle is a blessing and the two balanced XLR inputs are fantastic. You will get some fan noise but it should be fairly easy to remove with the right audio denoising software.
