  Good price, good service I bought a 55-210 mm for my camera from 42nd PHOTO. The price was really good. After three weeks I still didn't receive the lens. After some e-mails 42nd PHOTO send me an other lens. This time with DHL. It arrived within 48 hours. After three months I received the first lens. I was labeled with the company's packaging signs and it was damaged. Again I emailed 42nd PHOTO. Because the lens in damaged I don't have to send it back. You have to be patient but because the price is that good it isn't a problem for me. Again good service and good price.

  Good price compared to other suppliers. I bought a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 from 42nd street photo and my order went through without a hitch. Couldn't be happier with the purchase or delivery speed.   Easy to use website. Great communication throughout. I received the order sooner than expected as I selected free shipping. The camera mirror was damaged when it arrived and 42nd street photo replaced it within the next day delivery allowing me 30 days to return the damaged camera. Would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family

  One of the best customer service I've experienced. From start to finish the whole ordering to delivery was brilliant. They kept me in formed through out, I purchased a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens at about 10pm on Friday evening and it was delivered on Saturday. Great service. Haven't really used it enough yet to comment on the portrait aspect, but with the little testing I have done, it seems to work as I expected. very happy with my purchase.

  The staff is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a positive experience. They want their customer to be comfortable and happy.   I went in and purchased my second 35mm Film Camera from them yesterday. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.   Nikon D3300 camera. I did a lot of research on the internet before deciding on this model. I then looked at all the sites selling it for the best price. I chose 42nd street photo because the price was the cheapest and the communication was good, The camera shipped to me within a couple of days which is always great. I am really looking forward to taking more pictures as I learn more about the different settings as well as how and when to use them.

  Ordered a DJI Mavic 3 drone but never received an order confirmation email as one normally receives after any online order. Over a week later, the drone never arrived. Emailed them explaining all of this then received a reply asking me for the order number, which of course I didn't have. Never use them unless you want to get ripped off massively.

  Rang for advice before making my purchase and was helped to make the right decision for me. The delivery was very fast, virtually next day. The tripod was as described on the website, was well package and camera with a well made carrying bag with strap for easy carrying for those days I may not want to carry a camera pack. am very happy with the selection and I can't wait to use all of its functions.   Output cable micro doesn'twork I have received my video micro today and I tried it out . Everything works well expect from the output cable. It doesn't stick to micro output socket at all , It keep on fallen off and it's really frustrating. I'm pretty sure it's not the right one .

  Nice TV, but not a very bright picture everything works on the tv, but the picture is dimmer than my last Samsung. i even turned the brightness all the way up, and it still has a dim look. if you are going to buy make sure you see how it looks in the store first. that was my mistake. wont make it next time

  Manfrotto 1/4 Camera Mounting Screws Excellent Manfrotto quality, as one would expect. Ordered this set due to the Manfrotto HD502 video head mounting plate coming with only one 1/4 and one 3/8 screws, and I needed two of the 1/4 screws in order to securely mount the Sony PXW-X160, which does not have a 3/8 connector. Great head, by the way.

  A great addition for my landscape photography 42photo has a great selection, and the options offered with this camera were ideal and at a good price point. Seriously happy with this Sony Alpha a7R IIIA camera, accessory kit, and 42photo overall. Big thanks to 42nd photo's showroom for offering this collection of accessories. The bag is great, love it. SD card is fast (not huge, but great for getting started), and the extra battery rounds out the deal. I just feel so confident right out of the gate with this kit.

  Excellent Camera at a Reasonable Price! I bought the XC15 and did some tests, I shot interviews in a controlled lighting situation last week. Battery life is typical for Canon - excellent. And, recording at 1080 at 35 MB/sec, you can shoot a lot on a 64 gb SD card. Great Camera! This Camera is excellent for filming in studio and on the go situations. I have not had any issues with it and the footage I get out of it is great. I highly Recommend it!

  Unfortunately they use FedX who are performing much worse than other carriers at the moment. I'm still waiting for my order to arrive a fortnight in. I realize these are challenging times but other companies offering delivery manage to perform much, much more quickly. I've contacted 42nd St about this but haven't received a reply.

  Fine Nikon equipment, 42nd PHOTO service. This Nikon Z 6ll with 24-70mm f4 lens and FTZ Adapter Kit is awesome! Being able to adapt all of my older Nikkor lenses is incredibly great. For instance, my Nikkor AFS VR 70-200mm f2.8 works great and is a great companion to the 24-70mm f4 lens without the adapter. Highly recommended!

  My package turned up and looked like it had been under the feet of fighting bulls for 90 minutes. Crushed, torn and dented, I asked the delivery driver for a reason and said I was not going to except it, he handed it to me, took a picture and left ! Accepting their was nothing I could do I opened the package to inspect the Lens, a Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 lens. It's box was also damaged. Put the lens on my camera body and went and took a few snaps, the lens was noisy, to the extent I drove to 42nd PHOTO the next day to talk to someone about it. After trying another lens on my camera it was apparent that these lenses are noisy from the factory, all to do with the Optimized Stabilizer apparently, so I was happy it was not just me who received a crappy lens, apparently this model are all crappy.

  This shop has a massive selection of camera housings and lighting kits, o-rings for underwater equipment, lens ports and accessories. I recently purchased a Sea & Sea Diagonal Strobe Base. As ever, the experience with 42nd St. Photo NYC was excellent. Buying online was quick and easy, and I received my parcel within a couple of days of placing the order.   Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 25mm f/0.95 Lens for Micro Four Thirds is compatible for use with my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera. Great service.   Hoya Filters are my usual choice I have mostly Hoya filters. They work as advertised, I have never had any complaints as to their their construction, threads and or clarity. I bought this filter set for use with my Sony a6000 and I have them mounted on my Nikon lenses. Always a good choice. Great product and the shipping was fast.

  Consistently good service and helpful advice with competitively priced range of branded products I have used 42nd St. PHOTO for nearly 5 years now with many, although not always all, of my photographic equipment purchases. I recently purchased a geared tripod head as I am starting to do macro photography. My purchase was helped by some really helpful impartial advice that I sought from 42nd St. PHOTO technical support and thereafter, my online order placed on a Monday, arrived at my home the following afternoon. The price was the most competitive and the customer service before and after purchase (eg tracking my order, packaging, free delivery etc) was faultless. MY experience has been the same with all my other dealings and purchase with 42nd St. PHOTO.

  Great way to get all of the filters you need at a good price I usually purchase a UV filter when I buy a new lens at 42photo. This kit give you a UV filter, circular polarizer, and neutral density filter for a good price. I have always been happy with Hoya and all of the filters in the kit are of good quality. You also get a handy case with the kit. I love this Hoya filter kits so much that I never buy a lens without it !

  Poor Customer service I actually got two of these Metabones Ultra 0.71x adapters from 42nd Photo, one replacing the other. I can't even turn the adapter so it locks onto the camera body. I needed them to pair the JVC LS300 with my canon EF lenses.I never did hear back from Metabones support when I sent them the same photo you can see here. Metabones is set up to be non-communicative, even though I expressed to them that I didn't want to chew through their inventory and would try whatever they suggested. 42nd St PHOTO didn't know but they allow prompt returns. So all I'm left with is this review. At least it seems to fit!

  They get it right more often than not! I have used 42nd St. PHOTO on a number of occasions experiencing mostly very good service. I placed an order mid pm Thursday and received notification that my lens would arrive the following Monday - so very good again. Delighted to say it arrived the Saturday before. So, first class service/delivery but most importantly the lens is wonderful!

  Poor return policy I ordered on 7th of april, it took the product some 20 days to arrive, and when i tried to return it for a refund my adventure began. 3 weeks for the product to return, and on the email confirming the return of the product, they inform me it will take 2-3 weeks for my money to be returned. Edit* At least the refund process took 3 working days instead of the 2-3 weeks specified. On the plus side, the customer support in Manhattan was quick, albeit not very helpful understandably, because we're talking about a flawed return system and not support incompetence.

  Absolute top notch service. Ordered Camera (Panasonic LUMIX TZ100) Friday Morning. Condition stated as “As New”, received Monday, well packaged, though not in original box but I can live with this being Second hand. Checked over camera. It’s like new as stated. This Cameras cost new is well over $100 more than what I paid at 42nd St. PHOTO. I feel I’ve got myself one hell of a bargain. Will use 42nd St. PHOTO again for my camera gear needs. Thank you.

  Good Deal, Slow Shipping Trade in deal. Lens purchased is as described. Shipping labels for return item took three days to arrive by email, delivery of the lens purchased took seven days to arrive. Shipping and providing a shipping label were very slow. Otherwise all fine.

  Difficult (non)transaction and unhelpful response. I tried purchase a camera but neither of my chosen payment methods would be accepted by the website. The response from 42photo wasn't helpful and cost them a $234 sale. Shame. I'd have liked that camera.

  Swarovski excellent customer service I lost the lens cover on my Swarovski Binoculars. I sent an email to 42nd St. Photo customer services. Within an hour, they responded. To confirm a replacement would be sent within 5 working days, prompt. Excellent service.

  Lens issue dealt with efficiently Found a Sigma 18-50mm lens for my Pentax K5ii. Although the lens was shown as being in 'good' condition, it did arrive faulty. It is possible damage to the lens happened in transit although it was packed well. 42nd St. PHOTO arranged a collection the next day and my credit card was refunded quite quickly. All in all it was dealt with quickly without fuss for which I am thankful. Obviously disappointed but did manage to find suitable lens elsewhere.

  My almost decades old SLC 7x42B was missing a lens cap and a rubbering on one eyepiece after many years of usage in the field going hunting. I contacted Customer Service and asked if I could buy new rubber parts for my bino. 42nd PHOTO simply sent me a pair of new lens covers and a pair of new eye pieces - free of charge. My SLC is now as good as new again. This is a fantastic customer service which beats any competition. Thank you, 42nd St Photo.

  Such a great space with all things Digital Cinema. I had the opportunity to meet with some of the RED team and talk through all the cameras they had at the studio. The RED team member I was meeting was so welcoming and really happy to go through all the questions I had. I’ve been a RED user for many years and the customer service has always been great and 42nd Photo New York was exactly the same. Looking forward to my next visit.

  Good Product as well as Service The Night Owl IGen 20/20 does just what it advertises. I cannot tell you how amazing this monocular is. I am speechless. It is worth 3 times more for what you get. Just buy it, you will not be disappointed. Thank you who ever made this. Also have to say 42nd St Photo are super professional. Enquired about monocular and got a reply that same day and also a invoice set up if I wanted to purchase it. I was so impress dealing with 42nd St PHOTO.   Super Service!!! Ordered a Sony a9 and a Sony Macro lens, it's superb to track an insect such as a bee or butterfly flitting about the flowers on a shrub. It recognizes the pattern, color, and contrast of it and track it. The whole process was seamless and simple. A great company to deal with.

  After chatting to a customer advisor, I was told that the item will be processed in New Jersey before it goes back to their head office in New York? Why can’t the refund be processed in NY? Why such a slow service in 2022? This process needs to be sped up significantly. You are quick to take the money when the item is purchased, but you take 21 to process the refund! Slow service. Not impressed.

  I have been at this place to get my camera`s sensor cleaned, or at least this is what i believed was the issue. well the staff, spent time with my camera, had a look and told me that I was wrong , saving me 30 dollars. they could have taken the camera, and told this after performed the service and charged for it. i really appreciate their professionals, their honesty, and i will definitely refer to them in future for any other photography related issues.

  We went to visit 42nd St. Photo shop in Manhattan to get some hands on time with the Red Komodo camera to see if it was a right fit for our production company. The space was amazing, all the gear is there and Jonathan was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable showing us the camera, some footage and how to edit it in resolve. The camera itself was wicked, it's our first dive into the Red Ecosystem which is very different from the cameras we currently use!

  We ordered this Panasonic HC-X1500 camcorder for church worship. It's excellent for YouTube livestreaming and I have the Magnus VC-20-SCP LANC Zoom Controller hooked up to my X1500 and it works great. We may also use it for B roll, great little set up and amazing 4K UHD video. Got everything such as SDI/HDMI/NDI/HX stuff. Saved a few bucks and happy I did. Great in low light!!

  Sony Alpha a7R IV Mirrorless Digital Camera with 24-70mm f/2 I am not the photographer. My wife is. We are not experts. This thing makes me feel like I could accomplish greatness. I bought this for my wife, she is in love with it. It replaced her decade old Canon 7D DSLR. Still, straight out of the box, the results were spectacular. Fast service, good prices, fast delivery on in stock items.

  Great lens for Real Estate I primarily shoot real estate and purchased this LAOWA 12mm f/2.8 lens to shoot 4K video with my Canon 1DXMKII. The crop factor gives me the equivalent of a 16mm lens which is just below the 17mm recommended for nice undistorted interior photography. Excellent build quality, all metal, no plastic at all. Overall, a very fine lens at a very good price. I am very glad I bought it. It was a lot of fun to use out in California.

  Real service and availability. Great Price I reviewed 42nd Photo after my previous purchase just 5 days ago. On Wednesday I ordered the ES 14mm 82degree eyepiece. On Thursday I got an email saying the order had been completed. Since it said 1 to 2 day delivery I expected it on Friday or Saturday. I rang them on Saturday afternoon since it had not arrived. I got straight through to them and they had expected me to get it by Friday, but said DHL were being slow and to wait till Monday before chasing it up. It did arrive on Monday, and the DHL packaging/label clearly showed it had been sent on 24th (Thursday), so it’s clearly DHL’s fault that it was late, and not 42nd St PHOTO. It was well packed and is a brilliant eyepiece. 42nd St PHOTO were also the cheapest price (excluding postage) and had availability (another supplier was more expensive, but cheaper overall because it was post free - but they were out of stock and exceedingly difficult to contact). 5 stars for answering the phone when I ring, having the product in stock (and they have a very large range), and quick dispatch. I’ll continue to use them.

  Perfect service, great prices and super fast delivery! Ordered an R5 on a Sunday afternoon and received tracking information on the Monday. Next thing I know, the camera was delivered on Wednesday morning before midday. That's less than 3 days all the way from New York! Good communication from the company via email and no duty to pay, as yet... Will definitely be ordering from these guys again, their prices are unbeaten anywhere else.

  Excellent Bargain My lens arrived on time, and in excellent condition. 42nd PHOTO rating is 80-89% of brand new, but this lens looks practically new to me. For roughly one-third the cost of a brand new lens, this is a fabulous deal.

  Very happy with this Panasonic !!! Prior to the HC-X1, I was shooting using my Canon C100. 42photo occasionally has them at 50% off so watch for sales. Definitely recommend a hood. I wanted to go to the next step of 4K so I did my research and decided that the HC-X1 was something to get started with as well to fitting my budget. After shooting this system I can tell you it gives everything it say's it will.

  The XC10 4k Professional Camcorder is the BEST This package is everything I needed and more! The body and weight are the camcorder is very elegant and sleek.   I hate it when companies claim to stock a product but don't have it... If companies don't physically have stock they should advertise they do nor state delivery will be within a set time. In this case 2-4 days. They take your money and waste your time. They never had stock. Indeed I got a refund but that was only because I was chasing them up. Otherwise they'd still sit with my money until something turned out. In the end the supplier advised the 30 days. Not good business practice and a WASTE of my time. Avoid.

  my Hasselblad 1.7X Teleconverter for H Series was missing hood and it's very hard to find. 42nd PHOTO had one and even though it's expensive for a bit of plastic I purchased it to have a full set. Delivery to Atlanta was fast but is a bit too much for cheaper items. It was actually more than item itself :)
