  My Focusing Rail was shipped the next day after I placed the order. Item was shipped by FedEx and it arrived earlier than they originally stated. It’s very tough and sturdy indeed and I’m pleased with it. It makes taking macro shots much easier and more enjoyable. I will continue to purchase my cameras through this company!

  Excellent experience with 42nd street photo. I would suggest paying extra for fast shipping. They used FedEx who initially lost my package and missed the promised delivery date with no update or explanation. I would definitely order from here again, but would pay the extra shipping to avoid any hassles.

  Came in looking for an Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm Lens and the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Unlike other camera stores in the area the staff seemed genuinely interested in giving advice and making me aware of al of my options as opposed to pushing for commission. I'm very satisfied with it.

  Best customer service ever! I purchased an Olympus camera and it was all ready for me to curbside pick-up. They took the time to even get me an SD card with I didn’t buy online. The camera takes good pictures, especially for a small point and shoot camera. Better than average optical zoom. Decent battery life, at least when new. Easy to figure out how to change settings. Thank you so much

  Sony FE 24-105 f/4 G OSS Lens I pre-ordered mine on the first day available back in October and just received mine in the mail yesterday. I am going to Iceland next year where I will be primarily be taking photographs of landscapes and scenery. The 24-105 is a more versatile (IMO) lens.

  I just purchased a used Rollei 35 T 35mm film camera from 42nd Photo and I was very happy with the service I received, from my initial contact with the store about shipping to Canada and placing the order the service was first class. From placing the order to receiving the product was 4 days that is pretty impressive. I bought the camera purely out of nostalgia as it was my first SLR many years ago, but will certainly be putting a few rolls of film through it.The camera was described as in excellent condition and that was spot on, thanks to everyone at 42nd Photo

  This camera store is the best around. Hands down. All the guys there are really knowledgeable about all things camera. Their laid back attitude makes you feel comfortable coming in and just hanging out! I highly recommend coming 42nd street photo if you need photos developed because they truly take their time with them and have a sharp eye for detail.

  Visited their store on a Saturday afternoon after a friend recommended the store for camera equipment and information about our new camera. I don't know much about lenses and camera equipment, and Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and made everything easy to understand. He listened to our needs, and we did not feel pressured to buy anything. We felt comfortable and trusted his judgement. He gave us several options and took his time with us. We wound up purchasing a nice lens and filter, and we are very happy with it. Prices are reasonable and competitive. This is now our go to store!

  This is my go-to store for photography. Everyone who works there is so knowledgeable and helpful. I have never had an issue with any of the equipment that I bought and they always provide excellent customer service. I definitely recommend you check them out if you're in the area or even if you're visiting and need some equipment at the last minute!

  Two visits, Didnt seem up to pace on live streaming with their digital cameras. First visit the guy just grinned when I mentioned what I was trying to do. Second visit took a long time for the salesperson to give me advice. I bought a camera from them because they matched a high street price. I have had much better support from LA camera/ video retailers.

  Professional and good value Traded some very old film gear for a used digital lens. Very easy service and a good price offered. New lens is excellent. Fast delivery.   Great Value!!! This Canon XA55 is a great quality camera for professional Video shots for TV shows and more. All live streaming works great with a GORGEOUS PICTURE! We sold our XA30 to upgrade to the XA55. We have used it for 2 weeks now and my teammates love this camera. I just got it two weeks ago. and so far great job 42nd PHOTO.

  Ordered batteries for our tz80 Panasonic last Friday at around 11.30am ... in the mailbox today, the first working-day after a long weekend. Works in the tz80 and was fully charged. I am a first-time customer ... obviously not the last time I use 42photo. Brilliant.

  fix default address in account. I had to order again because 42photo will keep whatever the last address you mailed something to as your default. I'm glad it was only $50 worth of film I sent to my mother-in-law in North Virginia since that was the last person I sent a gift to. 42photo needs to make a setting where an address can be made your default address like Amazon does.

  Excellent used 24mm f1.4 Canon EF lens and very good price $849. Most other used lenses of this spec cost $700 and new ones $1500 and brilliant for my wide angle astrophotography. Staff were very professional in the way they handled my purchase. I bought one copy of this lens which was not as good as I would have wanted so they willingly exchanged it for a second copy of the same lens which turned out excellent.,

  Sony FE 50mm f/2.8 Macro Lens I do a lot of product photography of jewelry and other small objects. I purchased the Sony 50mm Macro because I wanted to maximize depth of field. I plan to use it on macro on occasions, mainly close ups of jewelry, makeup, flowers, silverware etc... at events. Great price, service and delivery, can't ask for much more :-)

  I was desperate for a new Mirrorless camera for a big job, and Jack was fantastic. As soon as the camera became available, he called me, and even went out of his way to hand-deliver the camera to UPS so it could make it to me the next-day.   I bought a tripod from 42nd PHOTO in Spring while on holiday in New York 2021. At some point after that in the coming months I managed to loose one of the rubber feet. Twice I unsuccessfully sourced a new on off eBay. Each time being sent the wrong size despite there size guide stating it was the correct size. Finally I chanced it to see if 42nd PHOTO could obtain one. Not only did the managed to get me the correct one but there was no charge either. Fantastic service. They might be 400 miles away from where I live but I won’t hesitate in future to use them when purchasing any future camera gear. A thoroughly recommend company to do business with

  My past experience with buying camera equipment from 42nd street photo has been great--efficient, straightforward. Today, however, I walked in looking to compare different type of lenses and was met with what I consider poor customer service, even annoyance.   The backpack is amazing!!! I was considering a shoulder bag, but the folks at 42Photo told me about this. Comfortable even slung over one shoulder, and can hold a Fuji GFX 100S with a 100-200, 80, 30, Fuji XE-3, chargers, batteries, laptop, with room for one more lens easily inside the bag, and a tri pod on the outside. No regrets so far!!

  As an amateur photographer, I use 42nd PHOTO for all my camera needs, they have everything I'm looking for and more. The A7IV is portable, lightweight and versatile, allowing me to move from taking stunning photos to recording video content for my clients which range from fashion to hospitality. The kit is fantastic as-is, but I also purchased a 50mm 1.8 lens which I've been accustomed to shooting with. All in all, I would highly recommend the purchase if you're in the market for a mirrorless camera. 42nd PHOTO as usual quick with the shipping. Random Easter snaps attached. No regrets. 5 stars all day.

  Lost a star because when I did the price matching exercise at $1699.50 I was told this was the lowest price 42photo could go, however, the next week it was $200 cheaper. Fortunately for me I had waited and noticed the price drop but it was still an annoying experience.

  D7500 upgrade from D5200 Only having a couple weeks I am enjoying the D7500. I am totally happy with my Nikon D7500 purchase. I am still learning the settings because they are different than my D5200. I am excited to grow my photography with this camera. 42ndPhoto, as always, has been great to work with! B&H was great!

  I purchased an OM-D E-M5 Mark III as an upgrade from the Mark II. Exceptional auto focus and is so light, I was stunned. Love the menu options that allow for more creativity in camera! Great camera!

  The staff was very helpful. They showed me how to load the film and also advised me not to put the film they thought may be damaged in to get developed. I know when I need help with photography, my questions will always be handled well at 42nd street photo.

  After wanting a long telephoto lens to improve my bird photography, I purchased a Canon EF 75-300mm lens from 42nd street photo at a fabulous price Shipping was prompt, the lens was well packaged. After some days of practice and bettering my skills, it's one of my favorite lenses. It isn't an L-series lens but for the price, it's still capable of high-quality results. I'll definitely be returning to this store

  well packaged and was delivered quickly. My point and shoot camera came 4 days before it was supposed to arrive, shipped within hours also. Couldn't ask for a better product! It came in original box with everything that was listed in the description. Everything is brand new in original wrapping and everything. all in original packaging.   Great professional and efficient. Missed the expected time frame twice on this order, but it was for order volume. Communication could still be improved when getting updates, but this group is more than willing to accommodate reasonable requests. I've noted drastic improvement in said Communication over the past few days. Great work, and getting better.

  I ordered a Sony a6000 for the next day delivery, only for them to come back hours later and tell me it’s not in stock. Why still advertise it then? I’ve sent emails and I’m still waiting for a response. This also happened again before with a lens for my camera.

  Am more than drastically disappointed in 42nd street photo they not only provide useless customer service past their 90-Day-Policy but also don't have quality products. If a company cannot provide quality products, they should at least provide quality service to offset that issue, or provide quality products in the first place to be able to put less focus on customer service. However, being deficient in both is not a great user experience and I will never again recommend to use them. Find a better company!!!

  I purchases the X-S10 with the 16-80mm kit lens. I am new to Fujifilm cameras. The IBIS on the X-S10 is something that I yearned for throughout the years. The film simulation is a genius move from Fuji and unexpectedly fun to use. The photos have nice feel to them straight out of the camera. Great value. I will definitely buy from this company again.

  I bought a very expensive tripod but unfortunately it broke. I took it back the following week and because it had been used once they would not exchange or return it. They did look at it and said I was missing a piece that they would order for me. It’s been six weeks and I never heard from them again. So this may be a great place to buy equipment but you better hope nothing goes wrong with it.

Everything arrived in good working order, As a beginning photographer who had only used point and shoot cameras before, it was simple enough to learn how to use. It has a lot of great features including autofocus and a variety of modes The touch screen technology is a really nice feature. I am really happy with my purchase and I will be buying more in the future!

  I have used this company several times over the past couple of years. In the beginning they were great. Now, not so much. I used to be able to order an equipment and have it completed in a couple of hours at most. Now it takes a week or longer. Not sure what is going on with the store, but they are not as reliable as they used to be.

  I just began a photography class at the university. 42nd street photo made it very simple to set up a student account in order to receive a discount, I almost paid for expedited shipping, on some camera so I could have it in time for class. I'm glad I didn't. They shipped the camera within a few hours of my purchase and I had it in time for class. They have earned my business, I would recommend 42nd street photo to anyone.

  Easy to order, great delivery time and quality product The ordering and customer service with 42nd street photo was excellent for my purchase of a Nikon D810. The camera arrived within a few days of my order with free shipping and so far, I love it, definitely a huge change from my previous Nikon, this is the 3rd used camera I have bought from 42nd street photo, started with the D200, and then went to the D700, and now D810. All controls are easily accessible and the camera well balanced, nothing to complain about. looking forward to using it more. I am totally happy with 42nd street photo.   I ordered a Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 VC USD described as condition ( excellent ). It was better than that it looked like it had never been used. It was delivered on time, to my door. This seems to me to be an organization, unusual these days, that does exactly what it says it will do. Would recommend to Kin and kith.

  Approach with caution, some staff very rude Ordered a camera and was reassured on 3 separate occasions that it would be delivered by a certain date but the camera did not materialize. One of the ladies I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and patronizing. The cost saving was not worth the extra stress and upset caused by using this company. I would approach with caution and don’t believe everything you are told.

  Given prompt attention and good advice. Great store. I bought two monopods in-store and was treated really well as a customer. The sales assistant gave me ample time to test the monopod out and gave me some good advice on selecting a decent model. I wanted to buy two (one for my partner) but he only had one in stock. The extra one should have been sent today but, due to a stock error, I had an email today to say there could be a few days delay.

  Changed from 1 star to 3 I recently wrote a bad review due to not receiving my order or any communication on my order. Since then the customer service team have contacted me, provided me with a refund and a free gift as compensation. It was explained to me that this year they have had technical difficulties and my order was cancelled. They were very apologetic and sincere. I gave changed my rating from 1 star to 3 because they rectified the issue.

  42nd PHOTO during the Weekend on 4th June All credit to 42nd PHOTO staff for fast purchase over the weekend. I successfully part-changed a Leica T for a Leica Q. Park arranged the collection of the Leica T as obviously the store is closed. I've now received my Leica Q and am very happy with service offered by 42nd PHOTO during lockdown. I've used 42nd PHOTO for a few years now and am always impressed by their service, especially the ability to easily part-exchange equipment. I've had some great deals on "like new" used items.   Metabones T Speed Booster XL 0.64x Adapter The product works great, however I almost returned it because I couldn't get it to mount on my GH4. After about 10 minutes of frustration, I realized that the tiny screws on the side of the unit were not screwed in all the way (hardly at all). After screwing them in all the way, it worked fine.

  Another satisfied customer Ordered a transparency/film scanner which was offered at a good price and works well. The only glitch was that I was initially charged carriage, which I should not have been, given that the value of the order was above that required for free carriage. However, when I questioned this I was promptly refunded. Would definitely use again.

  Great first mirrorless camera! Love it - bought this as a move up from my PEN E-PM2. The E-M5 is much easier to use thanks to the dials and the tilt screen. Also, the 42nd PHOTO staff was very helpful. Called in my order because I was using 3 different payment methods. The phone rep handled it all easily and my new camera arrived in days.

  Prompt service but used product was poor. The used Godox VING flash I purchased had a few expected acceptable signs of wear but performed very badly and could have done with more extensive testing. 42nd accepted the return without quibble and reimbursed me immediately.

  A mixed bag The camera was listed as "like new", and it was in excellent cosmetic condition and fully working, but the shutter count was about 3000, so it was some way off new. The supplied shoulder strap was grubby and looked like it had had several years' heavy use. Finally the printed manual was dog-eared, stained and wrinkled, and seemed to have been used to mop up spilled food. The camera is a rare one and it looks and works OK, so I shall be keeping it, and the other items are not deal breakers, but I find the condition description inconsistent to say the least.

  Have had pretty consistent issues with my camera, surprised to read how many negative reviews are here. Thankfully it's not enough to warrant a return - just enough to make me not buy another. Their Customer service aren't great - never any updates, always having to chase. Frustrating.
