  I would definitely recommend this camera shop. Bought my first Aquatica Underwater Housing for Nikon Z 6II here recently. There is a great selection of stock available. The store assistants were incredibly knowledgeable and patient when checking housing compatibility and did not pressure me to buy anything.

  The DJI Phantom 4 Pro Version 2.0 Quadcopter is a brilliant aerial imaging platform. This prosumer Drone blurs the line between prosumer and the more expensive professional products out there. 42nd Photo really helped me get it sorted. It took explaining the situation to multiple support techs but in the end they honored their policy and exchanged the defective drone for another, and they got it shipped out to me so fast it arrived before a rental Phantom that was shipped overnight. I'm officially impressed.

  Sigma 105mm macro Have been using this lens for commercial product work and plant based macro work. My clients love the results! Can't beat this lens for the money! Works well with add on tubes as well. I really recommend going to 42photo for photo/video/electronics. We had an amazing experience.Loved It, Right Out of the Box!

  The website should make it clear what the new store stocks. Visited shop in NYC in search of a flashgun. Told that they don't stock them anymore. Assistant could not help. I felt a bit foolish that I had not looked at your website more thoroughly and that it was my fault. Not sure whether I feel like going back to the new shop.

  You did very well; as when I wanted it it was back in stock and delivered very quickly. I gather these are in short supply in the US. The product (Canon Printer PIXMA Pro200) was disappointing. I will have to retain my old printer as the PIXMA Pro200 does not include a scanner. Obviously, I could photograph an image and print it this way.

  Heavy duty tripod I was looking for a tripod to hold a camera with extended lens that is heavy for lightweight tripod I have and 42photo has a good selection to choose from. The new tripod is carbon fiber which is lighter than aluminum from the old school days, less weight to carry around.

  This 'used' Nikon lens cap, bought as a replacement for a lost one, was, in fact, as new having only been removed from its packaging and not actually used. Thanks to 42nd St. Photo , not only for having the item available at a reduced price in the first place but for dispatching it so promptly, I received it by post less than 24 hours after placing the order on line. Truly first class service.

  Brilliant once again! I have been keeping an eye out for a great deal on a Brother MFC-L2710DW Laser printer. For me it is a total luxury and makes no economic sense, but I want to be able to print up to A3 as part of my hobby. I have been monitoring the prices for a year to keep the cost as low as possible and 42nd Photo came up with an offer I knew I would never beat. So went for it. A massive discount plus some 42nd Photo vouchers received as a gift made it too good to miss. I placed the order over the phone and the staff were very helpful indeed. Great service! The printer arrived well in advance of the estimated free delivery timescale so again 42nd Photo excelled.

  Unable to buy the main thing I wanted. I was trying to buy a video presenter package but for some reason I was able to purchase the cheaper accessories I needed but every time I tried adding the main package ($2500 worth of equipment) I was unable to purchase. I bought the teleprompter elsewhere and just bought the accessories here. Would have loved to give 42nd photo all my business. Maybe next time.

  My purchase is for a Manfrotto MHXPro 3-way tripod head. The price (new) at42nd st Photo is 25% cheaper than all other competitors (on sale). On top of that they had a used one in new condition for almost 20% less. I already own this head and use it for still photography with a Sony A7III. It is a great product for my intended use.

  Flawed Mobile Interface checkout process Mobile Interface and checkout process is flawed. We love 42ndphoto and have purchased from here many times. This time we used the eGift feature from the mobile App and the process worked great up until the payment. Despite logging into my account, we could not complete the payment process on the phone App. After being frustrated by multiple attempts and calling the store we discovered that they were not familiar with mobile erewards and transferred us to web customer service where we had to leave a voicemail. When I was able to get to a desktop, I was able to login and complete the payment. Frustrating that the mobile App is flawed.

  good selection 42photo is a reliable option for on line camera purchases. They have a good selection, and reasonable prices. I do shop and compare, and although I sometimes find better prices elsewhere, most of the time 42photo is within a few dollars of everyone else's prices. I believe they offer good service, and have served me well in the past.

  I actually collect, what effectively are vintage digital camera's from the early day's of digital photography (20 years ). The very best in my opinion are the German post-world II Kodak series. I actually purchase these from the internet, often not working and attempt to repair if possible, so I'm well aware of what's inside the casing. It's a marvel of electronic engineering at it's finest. The camera equivalent of the "Ship in the bottle" a work of art. It has "Made in Japan" written on its side, so the Japanese can be proud of their workmanship. May I suggest these will become more and more desirable as time progresses, a good future investment and a window to history in the making.

  I asked for recommendations for an airline-friendly bag that could accommodate a gripped SLR (with L-plate) fitted with an 80-400 lens and carry a spare camera body and 2 professional lenses. With space for other 'stuff', was recommended a bag (Tenba Solstice) and after checking it out at the shop (great salesman too) decided it fitted my needs. After my recent trip to Paraguay I can confirm that 42photo met my needs. Definitely on my A-list of photographic retailers.

  Had an okay experience shopping at 42photo. I have to dock stars for the pricing, though. That same evening, I compared prices of what I bought with prices from online retailers and while I fully understand that a brick-and-mortar store is going to have higher operating costs than an online retailer, we had ended up paying approximately 20% more by buying from 42photo than by buying online. I'm all for supporting brick-and-mortar chains, but at that price difference, there was just no way. Had to return the items purchased.

  Not enough information provided before order I ordered a Seagate. It would have been nice to know that a power adapter did not come with it and had to be ordered separately. Providing a power adapter for an external HD is pretty standard in the industry. Now I have order the external adapter and wait another week before I can use it as my backup HD.

  I bought one of their excellent Celestron CM400C (serious hobbyist) microscopes a few weeks ago and was given really excellent service at a visit to their premises, including an instant replacement of a faulty condenser lens. Very recently I bought online their cheapest video camera, to show my grandson how to operate the microscope. It arrived in the first post the next day and works perfectly. If you want or need a microscope I can recommend 42photo very highly.

  Sorry but terrible service ordered 19th April received 1st June no emails to say why it took so long.   This is a beast! A BEAST I say!!! I bought this Nikon D800 camera for use in my wedding and portrait business. The feel is almost the same as my D300 so the transition felt natural. I'm a pro photographer and this is my main camera NOW!!! The detail, and low light capabilities are simply amazing! Couple it with a FX 2.8 or faster lens and magic! Love it! Works like a charm!

  42nd PHOTO is is the best. Actually I am a bit confused and cannot remember if I wrote this review already! But this is the best online supplier for technology products I have ever found. The prices are even more competitive than both B& H and Newegg (who are pretty good), but more importantly their service and the speed of delivery is awesome. I live in Paraguay so my purchases have to come from New York to San Lorenzo which is quite a distance. But they do efficiently each time I buy something from them. I will be upgrading my computer soon (to do more video editing) and I will be going back to 42nd PHOTO all the parts I need. Thanks guys for doing such a great and professional job. Appreciated!

  Canon CN-E 18-80mm T4.4 Lens A great addition to my studio camera setup. This lens and URSA mini pro 4.6K combination makes for a solid studio rig. The resolution is dependent on the camera's sensor for digital cinema and other creative fields. The learning curve was very short and the lens is a good one to get you started.

  The Sennheiser MKE 600 is a perfect mic for independent productions and ups our game without breaking the bank. After trying several cheaper high impedance shotgun mics I finally got the MKE-600 and do not regret it for a moment. 42nd St. PHOTO shipped it extra fast and the price was comparable to a certain large online seller.

  This refurbished Canon 50d and 28-135 lens came packaged as if new. Works great, have not had any problems. I am a photography student and would recommend to any student starting out. I will use this for weddings, portraits, and everyday. Canon for life!

  Everything I Hoped I'm very happy with my D90, I shoot landscape, portraits, specially wildlife. A 42photo rep was very helpful with the selection of the remote.   I purchased the G7X Mark ll. I chose it because of its portability and reviews. This camera did not disappoint me. Very happy to support 42nd PHOTO, a true NYC institution.   I purchased the EOS R6 for my professional photography. The Canon R6 is a great pro camera! I am loving the higher ISO capabilities and the overall capabilities the R6 provides for sports. Another thing! 42nd PHOTO is the best. They got the camera to me in 3 days. I was able to bring the R6 to a gig next day. Lastly the kit lens is decent. The 24-105mm. F4 STM ( non-L) nearly matched a few of my primes on the shot. With good lighting this lens is very sharp.

  Nothings special, works as expected, great price I now use the Vello RS-N2II wired remote with my Nikon D7500 for low light night photography. The 3 items fit my Nikon and work perfectly. And got here early after only 36 hours! I am always happy with 42nd PHOTO. Thanks

  The Ruggard Thunderhead 55 is deeper than most packs, which allows it to contain my mirrorless camera, 5 lenses (including one long telephoto lens and a telephoto zoom) and several accessories (flash, filters, lens hood). The quality of this bag more than exceeds my expectations. Looking forward to using this pack to bring all my gear on my upcoming trips to California and Europe.

  Received the Z9 on February 26th (ordered May 28th). The delivery by FedEx was heart stopping, however. Through my glass front door, I saw the delivery man throw the Z9 package onto my front stoop, turn and walk away to his truck. My experience ordering the camera, other lenses and accessories thru 42photo was awesome and they are my go-to store in the future. Despite the Z9 taking 50 days to be delivered, every time I contacted for updates, the reps were very friendly and tried to help me with any updated information they may have at the time.

  42photo is a great store that makes every photographer, cameraman and hobby explorer of photography's heart beat faster! ATTENTION! The old shop has moved! Now he can be found just around the corner. Intersection east–west streets and north–south avenues. Be sure to check out the new store! Mega great, and on two floors you will find everything to do with cameras! Very good advice!

  Sony a7c I bought this camera to take on an upcoming European vacation wanting something a little more compact than my a7R3.   Great B&W 120 film HP5 is a terrific general purpose film and I shoot a lot of it. Whenever I receive film from 42nd Photo (or buy it at the store) it is always fresh and never outdated.

  Really disappointed. Ordered a charger for an older digital camera, was not told nor did anything indicate that there would be an issue with the order. Even spoke with someone on chat to confirm i was ordering the correct item. That was March 25,2022. Today is April 22,2022. I contacted customer service at the end of December and was told that due to shipping issues delays were expected, would have been lovely had someone mentioned that at the time of ordering. Contacted customer service two days ago.... No response I love 42photo , have spent hundreds of dollars on three cameras and nine lenses. This experience might prove to be my last dollar spent there Enjoy your day my friend 😊🙏
