  I purchased a camera body from 42nd street photo. Unfortunately it developed a fault. I spoke to the team and arranged to return the camera for inspection with their technician. I was kept informed of how this was progressing by email and phone calls. I received a new camera and re-imbursement for postal costs incurred. I was very satisfied with the prompt and efficient service I received and would have no hesitation in using this company again, will definitely use them again

  Great lens for my needs! Just bought a new lens and it has arrived very fast, quicker than I expected. Excellent communication with the stuff, the lens was very well package and presented as described. The greatest feature about it that it small and light weight. The first test I did was directly at the sun on a very bright sunny day and I got a difference over my old setup. Couldn't be happier. I'll definitely buy more camera items from 42nd street photo.

  Thank-you for this little gem Canon! The XC15 is a camera that surprised me positively. It is a great buy if know what to use it for.   Don't buy from these guys. They are not service minded at all and once your camera has a defect it really becomes your problem and you end up paying more than in your local camera store. Not worth the stress. My camera was dead on arrival when I received it, Battery didn't charge properly. 2 weeks later the camera died and they refused to replace it

  I'm pleased to have found this company. I ordered a Sony FE 50mm F1.2 lens from their website. The lens arrived very fast. Shipping was faster than I ever could believe.   My experience was a positive one, so I will not hesitate to buy from them in the future! I ordered a DJI Mavic Air 2 from 42nd street photo after checking their customer score ratings on Trustpilot. The pricing was good and the 5 year warranty offered on this product by DJI, made me confident enough to give this company a chance. The communication was good from the start and my requests according to shipping was answered promptly. The drone was as described, Setup didn't take long and was pretty intuitive. The controls are very simple and easy to use and it only took around 10 minutes before I was comfortable with it. will be returning when I next need some more equipment

  I ordered several items from 42nd street photo with the necessity to receive the items in a relatively short time frame. I made sure all items were in stock when ordering. After 2 days, I decided to contact them and check my order status, only to find out they had 're-allocated' 2 of the items i had ordered to another customer's order. There was no information about when they would be available and when I requested to cancel my order and suggested the stock count system was enhanced, I'd advice anyone to stay away

  First-class, professional company. I ordered an Olympus M.Zuiko lens from 42nd street photo, they had the best offer and I was blown away when I had it in my hands in less than 5 days, also everything was neatly packaged and protected, The lens also came with a free lens cleaning kit and works great.   The placing of the order was ok, the updates I got were ok but the condition of the parcel when I got it was terrible. It was delivered by FedEx, one corner of the box was damaged and bust. It looks like it took a fall on the way, not great for a Laowa lens! Luckily the lens was fine. The box could have done with ‘fragile’ on the box. It may have been treated a bit better.

  Wimberley plate for Canon 400mm f/5.6 L lens. It always makes sense to use proprietary equipment and in this case especially. In the long run it is a lot cheaper than dropping an expensive camera.

  Everything perfect and at a very competitive price I bought a Nikon Coolpix P1000 at a time when they were in short supply on the market and the waiting times in many stores were several weeks if not months. The item is fully functional and arrived on time when placing the order. I picked up at the shop in Manhattan, where the staff was very helpful, leaving me plenty of time to calmly see the camera. Another positive note, and not insignificant, is the price at which I purchased, ultra competitive when compared with the other stores.

  Excellent service The main screen was working intermittently on my Olympus. 42photo unearthed as a hinge/contact problem, gave a very reasonable quote, then conducted the repair really quickly (sent Tuesday, received back on Saturday).   Fast shipment, however terrible trade-in/returns beyond contractual days returns period. I love how fast 42photo ships their items whenever I order them. However, they only have 20 days returns period, which is fine. I've past that, though still not beyond 30 days from time of order. Note: time gap from order received from online delivery is even lesser.

  I contacted the shop by phone on three separate occasions over the space of one week. I spoke to a different member of staff each time looking for information on the same query. Each staff member told me they would get back in touch with me in relation to my query but they never did. It was disappointing as I was trying to support local business.

  Sound advice great to deal with I'm only starting to dip my toe into the world of photography so was unsure what camera to get. I had been given advice but after asking 42nd Street Photo they confirmed the type of camera I should start out with. Within a couple of days the camera was delivered right to my front door. I also used gift vouchers which the folks and 42nd Street Photo were able to sort out and simplify for me. I'll be back knocking on their door for more advice over the coming years.

  Five stars is not enough for the two helpful guys at the 42nd Street Photo store. I went in to get my Nikon camera repaired and the kind and very knowledgeable staff fixed the problem without a cost! I m extremely grateful for their help and friendly customer service I received.   I visited 42nd Street Photo yesterday. What a nice experience. The staff couldn't do enough for me, They have a wealth of experience which combined with the fact they are happy to sit down and explain things makes for a trouble free experience. Looks like I don't need to look any further for a place to shop for my camera gear. There is free long stay parking with a toilet within a 3 minute walk of the shop so no time pressure on my visit either.

  I just got my Sigma 16mm f/1.4 lens from 42nd street photo. I'm very satisfied with their service. Tracking information and details about my order were sent to me within 24 hours. the lens arrived in good time and it feels right in my hand with my Sony a 6300.   My order arrived on time but there are several issues here. They are selling used cameras as brand new. The box was missing a seal, no documentation whatsoever and the body and lens had scratches. The camera takes nice photos but there is clearly a problem with quality control. I tried to resolve this with customer support but didn't receive my money back.

  Great product for the price I was very pleasantly surprised by the quick delivery of the camera. Delivery was three days earlier than the estimated delivery. Customer service appeared to be very good, emails sent with information on my purchase and invoice details and updates were ongoing with information on tracking the item's delivery. Everything arrived perfectly with full instructions, ready to use and well worth the money. Super easy to use, beautiful image, I use it for live streaming, works perfectly, I would use this company again and recommend it to friends and family.

  I ordered online from 42nd street photo and the website was easy to use and gave detailed really helpful information on all their cameras. I was looking at the Canon EOS M50 and they had the best price and even better it was next day delivery. I ordered on Thursday and received the camera on Friday so very quick. I have spent the weekend trying the camera out and I am very pleased. The video is also stellar and in my opinion is miles better than filming with my phone.

  I opted to buy from 42nd street photo because frankly, they offered the best price for the camera I'd chosen. Ordering on line was painless, and the camera arrived within two working days. The camera has really good auto focus functionality and the picture quality is comparable to more established full frame DSLRs.   I was worried when I read the other reviews after placing my order for a drone but was glad to receive it within 2 days.   I placed an order online and received an acknowledgement very quickly, I then had a phone call the same day to tell me that dispatch would take place the next day, when the camera had arrived at the store. This was followed by an e-mail on the day of dispatch giving me the tracking number and the camera arrived in the condition I expected, Still learning all the ins and outs but so far am very impressed.   The item I have recently bought is defective and I am not happy with it. I have contacted to seller in hopes to resolve the issue quickly. We will see what happens.   2 orders placed on the same day. Placed 2 orders via 42photo on the same day, 4 weeks ago. One item arrived immediately and packaged safely and is exactly as described, so this is definitely 5 stars. The 2nd item was apparently sent the day after my order but still hasn't arrived. Given this is the lead up to a birthday there could be multiple reasons for the non-arrival, so I'm holding judgement at this stage, hence the 3 stars. If everything is resolved then I'd happily say this is a 5 star service
