  I was recently in New York and I bought my dream camera (x100v) from this store and it was an amazing experience. The staff was really pleasant and helpful to both me and my girlfriend. Amazing hospitality, I can’t wait to visit again once I return to the US.

  Lens arrival The lens arrived very well protected in bubble wrap. I was a little worried when I saw the box of the item as it was a bit beaten up, as it was a gift I was also a little dismayed. The lens however was in great condition and is working well.

  my first time buying here. when i thought 2 to 5 days dispatch was reasonable but when i was told the supplied was out of stock i was shocked. payment was made and id was provided then the order would be fulfilled. there was no eta but i did see an email informing me to check the stock level email reply is slow and sometimes more than 24 hrs wait. hopefully u will have multiple shipping cost so customers can save. in the end later 3 weeks i got the handsets all in one big satchel.

  Metabones Nikon F Speedbooster At first I was worried about vignetting but the speedbooster straight out the box worked splendidly. The added stops also supplemented the EF Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 and gave me an f1.3 which was perfect for low light shots. Fantastic item, love it. Bought new, received used.

  incomplete info I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that I wasn't informed that the memory card for my MBPCC6K would need a special card reader. edit: I've since been informed that several cheaper options are available. I admit I dropped the ball when I assumed that a CF Express card is the same as the older style CF cards but updated card designations usually refer to speed improvements - not physical configuration. My bad.

  great value. arrived promptly I bought an Olympus camera, The OM-D E-M10 Mark II from 42nd Street PHOTO New York. A brand new product arrived promptly as promised. I saved a lot of money, as compared to what I would have to pay at local stores such as ADORAMA/BH PHOTO. It was my first experience to purchase expensive electronics from this company. I would use this company again. I am not sure why some of the rating is poor for this company.

  Ordered a DJI Osmo Action Camera. Thought I'd share my experience for doubters. Online purchase is straightforward. I received confirmation of purchase with invoice. Seven days later I have received emails to say that purchase is being dispatched and confirmation of dispatch with tracking number from DHL. Seems to be as efficient as any other online store and prices obviously are attractive.

  Great lens for my needs! Just bought a new telephoto lens and it arrived quicker than I expected. Excellent communication with the stuff, the lens was very well packaged and presented as described. The first test I did was directly at the sun on a very bright sunny day and I got a difference over my old setup. Couldn't be happier. I'll definitely buy more camera items from 42nd street photo.

  Excellent We bought the camera to teach high school students advanced photography. We needed a new one and got a great deal from 42photo. Not only was it a great deal, but came exactly when they said it would come, no delays! We love the camera and definitely would purchase from 42photo again. We love the clear pictures that Nikon D3200 gives and that it is easy to teach the yearbook students how to use it.

  Excellent in Forensic Applications Wireless networking of remote flash units allows excellent results in difficult lighting situations encountered in forensic crime scene work.   I have never had a bad experience buying online before, until I used 42nd street photo. I placed the order and I have still not received the camera, even though they have taken payment. They do not answer the phone, do not respond to emails. I have now opened a dispute with PayPal in order to get my money refunded. I would never use this company again and I would never recommend.

  Couldn't be happier! I decide to proceed and order while on the phone instead of going online. The customer service was great. They did suggest a couple other items during the order which I'm glad they did as I had forgot about also ordering a dedicated lens hood. The Items shipped within a couple hours after ordering and the package arrived in a couple days. My experience with this company was top-notch and I highly recommend them to everyone.   This Canon EF 85mm f/1.4 is a great lens, I can hand hold it without a tripod and get clear and detail images. The lens is heavy but manageable to hold. The photos come out clear with good detail and excellent color and contrast. The lens was delivered promptly with good packaging from 42nd street photo, I would recommend this to a friend. Looking forward to using it soon.

They took 2 weeks to get my order out with no communication from them at all, it took me many emails (Each time I called there was no answer) to get information and all i got was a standard email telling me they had "supplier delays" even though the website had "in stock" on the items in question the entire time. This is the last time I would give such a horrible place a chance!

  The order was cancelled by 42nd street photo after 24 hrs., even though the money was taken from my credit card. The reason given was that I failed a security check by them! Phoning them was a complete waste of time! It is now 3 days after the order was first placed and the money has yet to be returned to my account. My advice - do not use this company

  Superb service, I rang to discuss a purchase yesterday, and received very helpful advice. Having placed the order, I got immediate email confirmation of the order followed by delivery information for the next day. Delivery was free, and also meticulous. The camera is Very easy to use for me and arrived about a week early. I have not used the video recording yet so I can not comment on what the video quality is like. But if it is anything like the stills quality, then I am sure it will be great. Really happy with the purchase and looking forward to using 42nd street photo again

  42nd Street Photo is a good business but in the past I bought a secondhand camera that broke and it spent weeks in the repair shop as parts had to come from Japan. This wasn't the company's fault but secondhand items come with risks, and I think 42nd Street Photo should make that much, much clearer. A 12-month-warranty is great but it doesn't cover the pain of failure.

  Very happy with my purchase I was desperately looking for a Canon 5D Mark IV and decided to take the plunge with these guys. Glad I did. camera turned up extremely well, runs better than promised, and so far, no problems whatsoever. Pictures are crisp and have high dynamic range. Very less higher ISO noise which helps in night and low light conditions. Very fast and continuous focusing, Couldn't be happier with my choice.

  Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 I got this on a deal from 42nd street photo for my Canon EOS R3 camera. I'm really happy with the sharpness of this lens. The range is good and provides a lot of flexibility. Haven't used it too much yet but it's nice to have a wider lens with the ability to zoom in for closer shots. the lens has no issues at all and overall I'm very happy with my purchase

  Amazing service and company When I ordered a telephoto lens, it was packaged and shipped from 42d street photo, next day followed up by email to say it was dispatched. I had chosen the free delivery service. Straight out of the box, I'm already impressed! Can't wait to go birding with this bad boy. 42nd street photo is so great to work with, when I purchased this lens, it came with the free upgrade lens protector and sigma usb port, it wasn't shipped with the lens. Customer service immediately shipped those out. I will only use them for all of my photo needs!

  Ordered and paid for a product ,order confirmed by e mail short while a later email telling the product had been sold just TWO MINUTES before my order so mine was cancelled and money refunded in 3/5 days (after a complaint was changed to 48hrs) on the plus side a pleasant young lady dealt with my e mails.
