  Great store to do business with My experience with 42nd street photo was very good, as I expected. I did a fair amount of internet research to decide on a Nikon d500 camera. I also compared several vendors until I found 42nd street photo. No need to look further. I ordered on a Friday morning and received it on Tuesday morning. The unit was pretty easy to use and had a charge right out of the box. Thanks for everything!

  Everyone was amazing and so welcoming to me, I wanted a point and shoot for my 14 year old daughter! I truly appreciate the time taken for both me and her!   This is the second cameras for macro photography I have purchased here and this is also my go to for lenses. Everyone is very helpful and courteous. They have plenty of staff always available to help you with anything you need. If you are looking for anything photography/accessories related this is definitely the place to go.

  Great Camera for the Price I needed an affordable option for a second camera in our portable church setup and didn't want to break the bank. I found precisely what I needed for a great price. And the best part was I received my order fast and the camera was just as wonderful as the website promised. The camera seems to fit the bill. I haven't been able to use it too much but so far I am pleased with it, as it seems to have good picture quality and is easy to set up and use. The shopping and purchase experience at 42nd street photo is amazing from start to finish. It's my go to platform for everything tech, equipment and accessories.

  Fantastic Lens! I like this Nikon 24-70mm lens, excellent short zoom lens. I've used this lens for many events.   Had problems with the first and second camera that I had bought. Neither would read or format the SD cards. Received the third camera and It works perfectly. Great photos and Video is very very nice. 42nd street photo handled all of the returns of the 2 cameras. Wouldn't buy from anyone else.

  This is a very unique store as they are set up to trade in your current equipment for something fancier. The staff really know their stuff and can help you get the right equipment.   The shop staff was very kind, so I decided to buy it while I was at a loss. It is unavoidable because it deals with very old camera lenses, but just because it is a specialty store does not mean that it sells products in good condition. If you are looking for a beautiful product, I think there are other shops that specialize in it.

  Work Perfectly Thank you for the fast delivery of my order (Metabone converter). The Product work perfectly on my A7III with Nikon 70-200. Full manual focus only but its fine.. A7III has an Internal stabilizer and you select focal length of your lenses.

  Excellent returns service. I purchased a Manfrotto camera bag recently. The bag was delivered quickly and it was apparent that the measurements shown were in Cms since it was far too small for my needs. I followed the return instructions and within three days of posting back the bag the cost of the purchase was back in my bank. I consider this to be excellent service and it gives me the confidence to buy from 42photo by mail order again.

  Spoke with Jonathan twice over the phone to confirm what stock was available in-store and both times he was very easy to deal with and very knowledgeable. Ended up ordering nearly $1200 worth of accessories and was able to pick them all up the following morning. Will definitely be using 42nd Street PHOTO again!

  Unbeatable price, OK service I recently bought a Telephoto zoom lens from 42photo, and this was my third time ordering from them, unfortunately this time was not a good experience. I received my order acknowledgement and processing confirmation email timely but didn't receive the tracking info within the stated 1-2 working days. I received my tracking info 7 working days after payment, and this was because I contacted them for an update only to be told there was an issue with my address after so long.. and obviously my inquiries were barely answered so I still don't understand what the issue was. Nevertheless, 42photo haven't let me down yet, I can also say the same for my friend who has also made several purchases. I placed my order on 16/08 and received it on 4/09. areas to improve: - Customer service - rather than saying what will happened, some explanation will allow your customer to understand the situation - Clear communication - Time awareness/Update (provide updates if there's a delay/problem)

  Great Service, Competitive Pricing We ordered a DJI Ronin which arrived extremely quickly at a very reasonable price. However the Ronin had a fault and had to be sent abroad in order to be fixed. 42nd St PHOTO, specifically John, received the item back from us and facilitated sending it off to Germany to get fixed. John was very understanding with us and we very much appreciated his chasing up of the repair in order to get the item back to us as soon as possible. Overall, was a really positive experience and we would recommend 42nd St PHOTO to anyone looking to purchase video kit in the future. Thanks guys!

  After searching the internet for a week I finally came across 42nd street photo. I was interested in buying a Video Fluid Head for my tripod and after reading reviews of the different models I finally decided to order from them. The price was by far the most competitive and the quoted delivery time was just a few days. The product has performed well for me and does exactly what I'd hoped it would do.   Great Quality & Value Perfect for the Komodo. I have canon and blueshape which I approve as well. But these BP batteries for Komodo last a little longer than the other brands are are the same size/weight. Worth it. Excellent service. They even called to check on some details. Product arrived quickly and as promised. Can't wait to try it out.

  Quality Customer Service Experience On Friday I needed to order a Lexar 128GB SDXC, Canon BG-R10 Battery Grip and Godox V1 F for my camera for our wedding on Wednesday. Jonathan helped make sure my order went through and in the mail for next day shipping in the middle of a snow storm. I received it the next day! Jonathan from 42ndphoto is a legend!   Time: When I wasn't getting it on time I got in touch with them to find out when I should expect my 70-200 f2.8 lens back and ended up spending a week just to find this out. The standard reply was something like 'our technicians are very busy we can't get through to them on the phone, we'll get back to you tomorrow'. Needless to say they wouldn't and I had to chase them again and again until I wrote an angry letter and got a date when lens is to be ready. Thankfully this time they were, but that is 4 weeks after I left them!

  Very Satisfied I purchased this camera as a gift. I don't have first hand knowledge of the camera quality but I am told it is working great.   The product was temporarily out of stock when I ordered it, so I was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered so promptly. The service was first class! Best price I could find on the internet - delivery was free. Being a reasonably fragile item, I was a bit anxious about having it posted to me. However, the item was properly packed to protect it from any possibility of damage, and arrived in excellent condition.

  Excellent shipping and processing My Sony FDR-AX700 Camcorder arrived in perfect shape and really well packaged! Hands down one of the best purchasing experiences I've ever had.   To 42nd Street PHOTO, 1. The package I received was previously resealed. It has two layers of plastic sealing taps. And the inner one was slit open before. 2. The rubber feet of the GorillaPod 3K Stand are worn. It has to be a defect/open-box/used copy. Update 9/7/2022 I changed the rating to 4 stars because of the customer service I received from Kate and John.

  I ordered a used Fuji 16-55 from 42photo last week, it arrived next day so well wrapped and protected it was never going to be damaged in transit. It was described as mint condition and to be honest if they had said it was new unused I would have believed them. The transaction online was so easy and I would happily deal with them again. While I prefer to deal in person, the lens I wanted was in Manhattan's warehouse, so too far for me to go and get it so I put my trust in online ordering. The fact they also gave me a 12 month warranty shows that they care about customers. It’s the first time I have dealt with 42photo but it won’t be the last based on this experience

  Made a mistake of giving these guys my cameras and lenses for servicing. What could possibly go wrong? Well, but everything. Long story short - on the website it is $35 and 7-10 days. In reality I ended up paying $112 and the waiting time was 2 days short off full month. No more fingerprints on my sensor. Awesome service!
