  Very quick shipping Ordered on Friday evening and the camera was shipped and delivered by Monday morning. Awesome camera that feels great in your hand. I haven't had a chance to test out the low light abilities but the image quality is incredible. I will definitely be using 42nd street photo again!

  Was sceptical when I saw the item at the price and would not have even ordered if it hadn’t been from a trusted supplier. Well as hoped for the product is exactly as stated and was delivered in good time. I will keep trawling 42photo site for more used photo equipment as this time ‘I saved over $150 against other suppliers and over $500 against new.

  The camera was more than 2 weeks late and I didn't receive a dispatch number. They said that it would only be ready the next day and I complained that they didn't even put a notice on their website or email me about it. They didn't respond. Incidentally, the camera was never dispatched the next day either! I emailed them to ask what was going on and to date I've never received a response. I did end up getting the camera but this company is not worth the hassle due to their lack of sales service, customer service, and the fact that they didn't even give the right charger in the end.

  Very Good Value for Price Impressed with the product, very good value for money. Instructions could be better though, as there is an area on the telescope which is not covered by them, that doesn't explain what that part is. However it does not seem to interfere with its function but why is it there. I have taken a photo of it and would like to know what it is all about, but cannot load it here; otherwise would have been 5 Star experience

  Purchases made and received In the last few months I have purchased a DSLR NIKON camera and two native lens, filter and a Zeiss cleaning kit. It was very simple to do the ordering and keep track on the order and eventual delivery. The whole process went smoothly and the delivery was on the day and time as specified. I can't in any way fault the whole process. I will and I am going to purchase further camera equipment from 42photo in the very near future.   Sigma 105mm f/2.8 I've had this lens a coupe weeks and I am very impressed with the sharpness. The 1/1 macro is terrific and the autofocus is faster than I expected. I'm very pleased with this purchase and as always 42nd street photo was great. Delivery arrived when promised.

  This is the place to buy camera gear if you are serious. I called up and had a very friendly and helpful chat, then ordered online once I had decided exactly what I wanted. Delivery was next morning as promised and that was important to me. I would not hesitate recommending 42nd street photo, they are the real deal. I've also found their website very helpful in their comments on different lenses etc.

  Great products from a truly brilliant company! I had some problems, of my own creation, with a Sony a7r IV camera bought from 42nd Street Photo, 1 Year ago. I had simply put it away in a bag, for about 18 months, and inadvertently locked the card, and had actually forgotten how to use the camera, card, and reader. I did not know if the camera , etal, still worked. I spoke by telephone, to Jonathan Huckabee, who is the Sales Director at 42nd Street Photo. He was very patient, friendly, and helpful. Jonathan suggested that I pack up and send the camera, so that 42nd Street Photo could test the camera, card, and reader. Bearing in mind that the guarantee had expired one Year ago, it was more than kind and caring, to test the entire set-up, and post it all back to me in working condition! Jonathan took the trouble to enclose a hand-written explanatory note, and a new reader. He even took the trouble to phone me early in the evening, to explain what he had found and rectified. Thank you very much, Jonathan, and 42nd Street PHOTO! You could not deal with a better company. Thoroughly recommended!😊👍

  Stock availability issues Not very happy. Placed order on website, order confirmed, 2-4 working days dispatch/delivery, followed by an email to say items out of stock and May or may not be available for dispatch in 7-14 days. If indeed they do arrive within 14 days it is not an issue for me on this occasion. However, if I’m then advised that they’re still unavailable, which seems to be the suggestion, that would create problems for me. This information should have been there at the time of ordering.

  Excellent I have just purchased a used Profoto B10X flash kit from 42nd Street PHOTO. It was described as mint, it actually looks new, the price was excellent and delivery was less than 24 hours. It was packaged in a way I do not think a tank could of damaged it. I really am pleased with the service and especially what I purchased. Excellent service, cannot be happier.

  It was great to be able to try a lens to help me decide if it was the lens I wanted to purchase. I chose local pick up and this was easy I arranged a rough time to collect, he came outside to meet me and gave me the lens then I returned it at the end of the hire in the same way. Very happy with the service, would recommend for anyone wanting to try a lens or requiring one for a particular shoot.

  Received manfrotto monopod basic on Friday and used it on Saturday shooting very steady and light.The ground was soft when got of seat 2 plastic feet caps where buried in field and lost ,should be fixed more securely to legs so had to order more caps. Beware

  Ordered a Nikon D7500, was delivered 1 day later, excellent, unfortunately the camera had a fault, contacted 42nd street photo by email, received a phone call about an hour later, got another email with instructions on how to return, returned unit, fault confirmed, sent new one back and refunded my postal costs. I would certainly recommend them to anyone, you just couldn't expect anything better, once again, excellent, Thank you.

  Looks deceitful prima facie. They sell stuff on Amazon for way over the going price and pretend it is Amazon’s fault. They didn’t send my lens on the day agreed (when I was going to be in) and it was sent in just a plastic envelope not a box. 42nd Street invoice not Amazon sent direct from 42photo.com not Amazon and admitted they were the seller in emails but just keep on blaming Amazon!!! Staff defensive and unhelpful - not what you expect from a professional photography store.

  Today I went to ask for advise about my camera as I had focus issue with it. The person who approached me tried too help me, but then the owner appeared and asked me to leave if I'm not planning to purchase anything from their store. This is very rude way to approach the customer. I will definitely won't buy anything from 42nd Street Photo in New York. Not with this attitude.

  The price for developing a film is not the lowest, but for a scan it is frankly expensive (120mm). Plus there were problems with the timing of development and delivery. It is necessary to eliminate the shortcomings

  Truly professional organization. Once again 42nd St. PHOTO showed why they keep being rated as one of the best online retailers in the country.   The store is just super! They just came to consult, as there were doubts between the 2 models. After the first DSLR from Canon I could not decide what to choose: Sony, Canon, DSLR or mirrorless. But after a quality consultation, test photos, all doubts have disappeared. Nobody and nothing imposed the more expensive models, which are rare for the store today. The level of professionalism is just up to the Jonathan! Many thanks to the guys !!! They even just find it - a pleasure !!! Nice atmosphere, professionals in their field, the availability of a sufficient range!

  I broke my battery door on my Canon 6D Mark II. I was overseas and distressed without my camera. John was extremely helpful as well as the rest of the staff. He contacted the repair center for Canon, he gave me advice. I ended up buying a battery grip at a fantastic price. Everyone there is professional and knowledgeable.

  I bought a camera and a monopod from here. All liked it. The manager offered a good selection of monopods, I could hold everything in my hands, try it on the camera, they even printed it out especially for me. The store is now located in a high-rise new building with a closed area, you just need to press the call on the bell and say that you are going to the store. Unlike many online stores, all products are in stock right now. I really liked both the choice of goods and the service. I recommend with pleasure.

Noticed an important difference. Not all lighting is good. In particular, the light from fluorescent lamps produces streaks in the finished stitched image. Everything else is great. With a single press of the release button, we get the finished result. I think that the camera focus stacking function implemented by Olympus can be successfully used not only in subject photography, but also in landscape, portrait, and macro photography. Thanks again!

  Nikon AF-S DX 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR LENS Haven't used the lens enough to rate it but the service from 42nd St PHOTO was stellar. The person I spoke with took the time to thoroughly research the lens and make sure it would work correctly with the camera. The price was fair and it was shipped at no charge. It arrived as expected. I addition, they made it easy for me to sell my old lens. 42nd St PHOTO is the best place for camera equipment and advice.

  Since they have been back I'm impressed by how much more competitive they have become. If they stopped using incentive schemes to push customers to brands I would be happier, customer should be first, not profit (or at least it should feel like that)

  We were caught in a financial crunch after the COVID19. We are a non-profit organization, and under the terms of the project we had to buy a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens for Sports Photography. We were denied our non-monetary offer by all but one of the online stores. And this is 42nd Street PHOTO. We quickly signed a contract for non-cash payment, promptly ordered this product for us, and as soon as it arrived from abroad, the same day he went to us.   Super not competent managers! I ordered a camera, they said it would be tomorrow night, I’m calling on the next day and the other administrator says there wasn’t any order, they don’t know anything and it’s not a problem at all that I won’t get the camera!   Sorry but terrible service ordered 19th September received 1st October no emails to say why it took so long.   Celestron 15x70 SkyMasters are a Bargain. Years ago I bought a pair for my brother. He loves 'em and I was envious. Coincidental with my salling two other binoculars comes the 42photo sale.   42nd St PHOTO is to cameras what TJX Companies is is to clothing - great service, professional advice, varied stock and prices from multiple brands. On my way to a high street camera retailer I ran into the store. Once inside I was prompted by one of the staff members for help. Kate was not only extremely approachable but elicited great advice that made my selection and purchase easier. The advantage of 42nd St PHOTO is that you are dealing with people who use cameras for a living; removing the daunting task of selecting a camera or equipment if you are a novice. 42nd St PHOTO is a great spot for novices and pros looking for camera accessories and equipment.
