  Fantastic experience with these guys. I was on the fence about a new lens purchase, noticing that 42nd Street PHOTO had theirs listed very competitively against other online shops. Sent an email seeking clarification on some delivery/warranty/repair details and received a response within the same hour. They even sent a follow-up email a couple of days later, letting me know that the lens was now in the warehouse and could be shipped to me next-day at no additional charge. So now I've got a brand new lens with a 3-year warranty, and 42nd Street PHOTO have a brand new customer. Highly recommend.

  Delivery lost but quick refund and good customer service. Grey import company with very competitive prices. Ordered a lens but sadly after a week was told the order was lost. I was offered replacement or refund and opted for refund which came through quickly via PayPal. Very quick replies on email with queries, maybe will give another go in the future!

  Need a rewards program I appreciate 42PHOTO and the range of cameras they offer, but I really wish they offered a loyalty program for loyal long-term customers who spend a lot of money at 42PHOTO. There are plenty of other places to buy cameras so it's a choice and 42PHOTO doesn't go out of their way to inspire loyalty.

  42PHOTO is probably the best place to get anything for photography. Great selection and reasonable prices. I think their shipping costs are a little bit high. I live outside the 48 states, and the shipping is extremely pricey.

  the best eshop for a photographer I placed an order on 18-11-22. It was a Samyang 8mm f3.5 f mount I received on 23-11-22 The packaging was great The product itself was like new as it was saying! I recommend it for sure!

  Excellent customer service from Marco at 42PHOTO in New York. I bought a used Olympus OM-D E-M5 mk III, used ED 12-45mm f4.0 pro lens, and new ED 75-300mm f4.8-6.7 lens, plus 2 free uv filters and a half price 128 GB 200 MB/s SD card. All straightforward and I was kept well informed throughout. Looking forward to trying out the new kit.

  I live in Arizona, so shipping charges are a bit high*. But otherwise I love 42PHOTO and have been buying the products that they offer for at least several decades.   Incredible and impressive facilities, all the staff are helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. As well as being a camera and lighting facility it is also something of a museum, with displays on the wall of the history of the Company and equipment, which is fascinating in itself.

  Price, Delivery and Customer Service 5-STAR Ordered a canon Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens - not only was it cheapest in the country but i was also able to pay to get it delivered pre 10.30 the next day so i could use it to shoot a wedding - thank you for saving the day.

  The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The shop was tidy. You can test some of the high end products. They offer a 7 day return item in most cases. The lack of direct transport from Central Manhattan is a minor problem as there are no electronic stores more centralized in New York.

  I called this store before I got there. The manager was very useful in checking stock and his knowledge about location sound microphones was superb. I bought a Sennheiser MKH 800 studio mic which is fantastic but, the first one I had was faulty which I took back to the store. An assistant instantly tried to say it wasn't the mic and it was my production or the alignment system etc. The manager overheard and came over to test my mic and completely agreed with me and replaced it without any trouble. If you go to this store try and speak to the manager as he is very knowledgeable and very helpful.

  Very happy with first purchase. This was my first purchase and I was very happy with the online experience.   Excellent all round experience. 42PHOTO had the best price for the camera I wanted I found online, plus a free Tiffen 72mm filter and cleaning kit. This was made even more appealing by the inclusion of a 2 year warranty - that I hadn't realized until I looked at the receipt. Delivered on time, well packed - I recommend 42PHOTO.

  Excellent service! It's great to be able to speak to someone who is knowledgeable about the products and is also a camera enthusiast. Being able to visit the store and try out the piece of kit, or try it out on your own gear, is very useful. Buying over the internet is also done very promptly if you know what you want.   I purchased my Olympus M.Zuiko lens from 42nd street photo after doing a search to see who they were, having not heard of the company. I found the website extremely easy to use, but I still phoned to talk to someone just to make sure. The person I spoke to was very helpful in choosing the right lens and how to purchase it. Ordered on Monday lens arrived Thursday morning. very good service. I would certainly use them again.

  Great service at 42PHOTO My first purchase from 24PHOTO didn't go to plan, the Canon camera seemed to be full of faults which Canon didn't seem to be able to repair, the staff at 42PHOTO, New York, were always very helpful trying to solve the issue but finally gave me a full refund with no issues at all. To replace the camera I purchased a Nikon Z7ii, again the staff were helpful and the camera is great to use, I will be using the 42PHOTO's store in the future.

  I find Willoughby's Camera great for advice and keeping up with new technology. Prices are good, quite competitive with online which combined with the advice is super. The stock is good and it is worth checking back for used updates. My latest purchase was after considerable comparisons online being a Panasonic compact camera.

  Great but delivery times are misleading I have had a few things from 42PHOTO new and second hand and they are tryst worthy and the kit is as described. The only reason this is 4 stars is the web site says next day delivery on things and then it is sent FedEx that doesn't operate on the weekends etc. If the website said that it would not be an issue, bit we are all so used to Amazon saying it will come tomorrow and it does, that I don't really feel you can not meet that standard and get a full 5 stars.

  The product probably is brilliant as I have ordered many things from 42PHOTO before and everything always was spot on! This time it was not delivered I had so many deliveries to my place in recent days and this is the only one that was not delivered , not sure what happened. It was dropped off at local FedEx terminal which is mostly closed. I attempted to visit it 3 times and so far had no luck. Obviously delivery service fault. Thanks delivery guys

  I ordered and paid for two cameras, one of which I received and was told the second one would be sent out very soon. That was about 4 weeks ago and I have had no word of my second item being delivered. I will not use this website again and will definitely discourage others from doing so.

  Almost Perfect Four stars because everything worked out fine in the end. The only problem was I requested delivery on a Tuesday because I knew I would be at home all day but the lens arrived a day early and it was fortunate that I was able to accept this very expensive item rather than it being left on the doorstep or whatever
