  Thank you 42nd Street photo for the swift and efficient way you handled the sale of my Nikon camera and lens. The price they offered me was better than others I had asked. When I confirmed I wanted to sell my gear they arranged for a courier to collect free of charge. I was notified as soon as they received my parcel which was reassuring. They confirmed the valuation which was as originally quoted. I accepted their offer and the money was in my bank account 3 days later. I would not hesitate to use 42nd Street photo

  I ordered the Sony a7C camera with the Zoom lens which I thought was a competitive price. The service and delivery was excellent. As for the camera, I am very happy with it, but far too soon to say much about it as I have to know and understand it's functions. I would recommend them for sure.

  I was looking for a new camera to replace my old one. I found the one I wanted, second-hand as I didn't have the money for a new one. I saw 42nd Street photo recommended in one of my photography magazines and decided to see what they had to offer. I found the camera I wanted at an incredibly affordable price, and it arrived when expected. I couldn't recommend 42nd Street photo more highly, and will definitely be using them as my go to shop for all my needs in future.

  These days it is hard to find specialist stores on the high street. Even more so decent ones with a nice range of items actually on display that you can touch and feel. Add in a website good website and it is a company I gladly use. The store is a little out of the way for me, but still worth the trip because of what it offers.

  Excellent Customer Service I have been looking for an EOS 90D for some while and 42PHOTO provided the best price. They delivered promptly and exactly as expected, however, there was only a 'quick guide' shipped rather than a full manual. I queried this and was told that this was what Canon did nowadays, nonetheless, they ordered me a full manual and posted to me at no extra cost. This is exceptionally good customer service. For this reason I would not hesitate to recommend 42PHOTO.

  Great service from 42nd Street photo. The camera I bought, a Nikon D5600 was used, however, this was in excellent condition. I got this in my opinion for a great price. I have tried the camera out and it is an incredible camera. I am still going through the manual as there is so many things this camera can do. I also appreciated the help and support the representatives gave me over the phone when I called to make my initial purchase.

  Really worth doing your research first as they have a big range and lots of offers on their website which are not always known to staff in store. Also they do work closely with some manufacturers so may be favorable to their kit. They will price match local stores within reason.

  Just great! Couldn't ask for more. I saw a Fujifilm X-S10 on clearance at $100 cheaper than any other website I've visited, asked for more information about it before deciding if I should buy it. Someone got back to me in a few hours which was great. Ordered the camera at 4pm, received it at 3pm the following day. The camera's condition exceeded my expectations, it looks great and works as it should. Definitely recommend!

  Great online shopping experience One of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had buying online. Amazing functionality in their website to show and charge the prices already without the state tax by applying your own tax code in your account. Very friendly staff in the chat and a blazing fast delivery. I live in Maryland ordered a drone on Friday afternoon and on Monday morning I had my package. Simply amazing!   Went to look at the new Canon EOS RP and a point and shoot for a friend. Nice staff, good range. Was very warm inside. Regular brands, second hand stuff and relatively knowledgeable staff. They had to refer to their website a lot for specs but we're happy to help without too much of a hard sell.

I phoned 42nd Street Photo this morning and spoke to an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly member of their team named Jonathan. He spent a great deal of time talking me through the technical details and benefits of an array of kit, cameras and lenses(Sony a1 and associated lenses). There was no hard sell involved, just simple great advice. Jonathan obviously shoots video himself, and his level of technical and creative knowledge gave me great confidence to use 42nd Street Photo as our kit supplier moving forward. Thanks

  I ordered a pentax k-1 mark ii for $1,437. for express delivery. I payed with PayPal and it showed as in stock. After 3 days I received a email saying the order was cancelled. I checked the website and the price has gone up to $1479. And again shows as in stock. I phoned the support line and spoke to a member of the team. He said it was cancelled as it is not available. Out of stock. What makes it worse is i haven't received any refund. I've opened a dispute with PayPal.

  Excellent Service I always use 42PHOTO as my first port of call for optical equipment. Their prices are good and their service is exceptional. The staff on line and on the phone are very helpful and accommodating. Delivery is quick and on the one occasion I have returned an item, (not as a result of anything to do with 42PHOTO) a full refund was given within a day of them receiving the returned item.

  Good Customer Service. Purchased used lens, which arrived next day and was probably in better condition than described. Even for Used there is no-questions 30 days return policy, but this is extended at Christmas to 45 days! Not that I will be returning the lens. Super kit!

  cannot believe what people say,its like somebody has had a bad expierience with 42 and the others like sheep follow on,be honest if they were as bad as the reviews on google reviews they would have gone out of business ages ago,i think its busybodies with nothing else to do,because if you look at other firms some say the same,if you want manufacturer warranty get it from the best place and just now for me its 42 just ordered a $500 lens normally $800 everywhere else (hope they stay good to me)

  Disappointed by uncertainty in delivery FedEx delivered 2 days late on a next day and misleading, first time said there was no one in when we have serviced offices with a reception, 2nd time said the address was inaccurate which is preposterous how they seemingly found it the 1st & 3rd time. 42nd Street PHOTO are great but I would consider using another company next time as their appointed courier is unreliable.

  I think the sales team need to be a bit more responsive to the customer needs, phoning the sales line it's very difficult to speak to someone and when you do I don't think they want a sale with there couldn't care less attitude

  FANTASTIC service! Tripod legs and head ordered online. Legs were in stock, head wasn't. Legs arrived immediately. Head was showing as in stock in several stores I rang to ask if one of those could be sent rather than me wait for next stock delivery. Sorted within a couple of minutes. Arrived within two days. You have gained a loyal customer - well done!

  Great Service but!!! I found the service from 42photo excellent and would have given 5 stars, and if you are able to collect from the store I would highly recommend. But regarding the delivery, which was not actually the fault of 42photo, but is their chosen courier, I found to be the worst delivery experience I have ever had. First 2 dates given for delivery not made, and the courier had suggested I had changed times for delivery, then told I would have the delivery on the 2nd date proposed and still did not arrive. I have since raised a formal complaint with the courier to which there has been a call to discuss the problem. However I would urge 42photo o discuss with their courier to deliver to the high standard they themselves operate.

  Great service and best prices on the market for GoPro products The ordering process was super easy and my product arrived quickly and without any issues. I would definitely recommend 42nd Street Photo NY to other filmmakers, photographers and videographers. The item was also over $100 cheaper at 42 Street Photo than at Amazon.

  Well done I bought a used Mamiya Leaf Credo 40MP body. It was boxed, had a strap as advertised and looked brand new, but to my surprise a 128Gig SD card and screen protector came with it. Promptly delivered and well packaged. This was not my first purchase from 42photo and will not be the last as long as this level of service and quality prevails.

  Used Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM Lens Lens was as described and delivered promptly. The rear lens cap was an EF version and thus didn’t protect the dust seal. A quick phone call to 42Photo had a correct version sent free of charge.

  I've ordered from 42photo through their website and through Amazon. They've arrived on time, and such a high quality product for a great price. One time an amazon delivery guy squished a filter and 42photo sent me a new one immediately. Not sure why there are bad reviews, I've never had a problem. I use HOYA UV filters and they work so well, I'm never going back to other filters!

  Ordered a Nikon D7500 camera and it arrived the next morning. Spoke to Jimmy and was assured it would be a easy learning curve for me. There are a lot more bell &whistles on the d7500. I love it !! Intuitive is the word. Handles well and takes great photos. I love buying from this company!! Can't recommend highly enough!!

  You guys are great. I used the live chat to ask about the Nikon Z6 II. The person answered all my questions. II received the camera as promised on time from 42nd Street photo and unpacked it, charged the battery and tried it out with all my lenses. It worked flawlessly.
