  I'm a new flash photographer, I have been shooting a lot of houses in Manhattan's sizzling real estate market but I faced challenges in low light. I bought this great kit from 42PHOTO and within an hour (thank you Jonathan) I was conversant in all things flash. I since have had several more gigs and the flash has paid for itself. If you are on the fence and never have bought from 42PHOTO then feel secure that they are experts at what they do and are extremely helpful on the phone or by email.   I bought a canon powershot g7 x mark iii in november. The retracting lens cover kept sticking. I sent it back to canon via 42ndPhoto after a telephone conversation with them. Apparently they sent it to Germany to be repaired. The report from Germany said the camera had been dropped so the warranty was void. I disputed this over the telephone with 42ndPhoto. They said they would send a replacement which they did. Thank you.

  Speed of order and delivery process and price . The camera I bought was $100 cheaper than anywhere else I looked and I've shot a few small jobs to familiarize myself with the camera, The picture is incredible, especially with better glass. This past weekend I filmed a wedding and it did not disappoint. I'm thrilled to continue to learn and grow as a photographer with the camera as my go-to gear.

  Happy with this choice! As a wedding and event photographer, this Pro-Foto A-1 is great for quick portable, studio style lighting. Only had it for four days, and two shoots, but I am very happy with it so far. good product and fast shipping

  FotodioX Lens Adapter The cost is more, but well worth the extra quality and peace of mind from a durable piece of equipment. Feels like part of the lens!!   42nd street photo shipped my Nikon Z6 II camera quickly and I had it at my front door in two days. So far, I am blown by the speed and performance that this camera is capable of putting out. I paired it with the 24-120mm f/4 lens, Tested the video recording in low lighting, the focus is sharp and fast. So far, I couldn't be happier with this upgrade.   The Panasonic AG-CX350 4K is a robust, well constructed, good video performance at a very economical price. Setup for church live streaming was easy and the images are clear, and I'm particularly pleased with the effectiveness of the inbuilt mic. I'm still working through the more complex set-up options and filmmaking potential. Packaging, shipment and payment was all most effective and as you would expect from a reputable supplier.

  Ordered a Canon EOS R6 that was showing in stock on the website. It wasn't but decided to wait as was told it would be available. A week later was informed It wasn't so cancelled the order but it's it's still showing as in-stock on the website! Communication was good but the website needs sorting so that it doesn't show products in stock when they aren't.

  Canon EOS R7 Mirrorless camera My wife bought me one for my birthday and it is the best camera I have ever owned, including other Canons and Nikons.   Bait switch scammer Camera finally arrived two weeks late and I was willing to forgive everything only to find the auto photo sensor is broken, the camera optics is filthy and there was some kind of glue smeared inside the back, clearly no one is checking these and they're flipping them as soon as they get them for a massive profit. Scam website, never use.

  Beware non delivery! I ordered and paid for a OEM GoPro battery in stock. I also received an affirmative dispatch mail, Days later it was not in stock. If 42photo.com want to sell by web, I suggest they check that they have stock in place before taking money. I still await the credit. Will not use them again anyway , they are relatively expensive. As for notifying me of dispatch, that was a complete phony!

  42PHOTO Quality as always I have a few of the Panasonic AG-UX90 SanDisk 128GB Sennheiser MKE 60 Mic & Magnus VT-4000 tripod & Hoya 67mm cp filter & they all perform extremely well. The added bonus being they also came with a US battery/charger. This purchase was for a house of worship recording primarily from our balcony. Good sound from the built in mics, and line level recording is excellent. I am very satisfied with this camera. a good image quality. I recommend it Delivery is always quick. Highly recommended

  Genuine Epson Ink As a professional photographer the work I deliver to my clients has to be head and shoulders above the rest. 42PHOTO has by far the best price for this ink. Always pleased by my purchases, quality help from knowledgeable people and with prices that make it easier to keep taking pictures or printing them. I like to use genuine Epson inks in my printer and was glad to find the 42PHOTO has the best price I could find.   Good Service and friendly staff Bought the Canon RF 100-500mm usm Lens. Traded in a 100-400 mm L V2 lens and also received a $250 trade in bonus which was handy. Can't fault 42photo in terms of how I was treated and they were responsive to how and when I wanted the product delivered. Early days with the new lens and will try and get out and about with it in the next week or two. Hate the dark nights!

  paid for a new lens but not sure I got one. No lens hood in box suggesting it had been opened and taken out. Quite easy for someone to do since I checked with 42photo and Sony boxes are not sealed.   Why go Anywhere Else There are a couple of photo retailers that I trust and 42photo is right up there at the top. The reasons are quite simple: 1. They always have the best prices. Sometimes you might find a better deal elsewhere but it's rare. 2. Great customer service if you have any problems. They actually try to help you. 3. Fantastic returns policy. This is especially important if you buy used equipment. I now buy all used equipment from 42photo because of this. I earn my living from photography and these points keep me coming back to 42photo whenever I need anything.

  Canon RF 600mm F/11 On the 4th of January I ordered an R 6 and RF 600 f11 lens from 42ndPhoto , I purchased the R 6 SPECIFICALLY due to the RF 600 and RF 800 series f11 Lenses . Canon and 42ndPhoto only get 4 stars because Canon didn't provide case for lens and 42ndPhoto didn't take advantage and try and match a case ( ensure it fits ) to sell to me ..

  Selling my equipment to 42nd street photo was the worst mistake! Communication is the worst, the quote is nowhere near what they promised and the attempts to get my lens back was no success. If you want to sell your equipment super cheap and spend hours calling them and having your emails ignored then it’s your place.

  It took just 3 days for my new Canon EOS M50 Mark II to arrive to my door in Austin Texas. As a beginning photographer, I am pleasantly surprised by the use of the camera!   Purchased a Sony a6600 and Couldn't fault the service, ordered on Monday and received on Friday, I'm just getting back into photography so I can't say I've completely tested it out, but so far I find the a6000 easy to use, it fits comfortably in my hand, the battery life has been good. I have been able to take some impressive pics considering my skill level. I will surely be considering 42photo.com for future purchases.
