  Average. I've bought used items from 42photo on a couple of occasions now. They are a reliable business but, I would say that they tend to the optimistic when describing second-hand items on the website, so order with caution.

  Outstanding customer service all round! I ordered my Nikon Z7II from 42PHOTO Thursday morning and had it in my hands Friday afternoon to do some test shots with it out on Honolulu Coast. Firstly, it’s such a welcome surprise to be able to easily find a contact number on a website! So many companies these days hide their contact numbers and rely only on AI bots and online forms to raise queries. I called expected to be placed in a queue but the phone was picked up within a couple of rings by the very cheerful Jonathan. Jonathan couldn’t have been more courteous and helpful. He checked stock for me and confirmed they could get delivery to me within a couple of days. I placed the order on Thursday at 4pm and in fact the camera arrived by lunchtime the very next day! I hadn’t heard of 42PHOTO prior to my internet search and am always a little dubious about using unfamiliar 42PHOTO. However, 42PHOTO and Brad exceeded all my expectations. Top marks all round - the best customer service I’ve received in quite some time! Some of the big retailers could learn a valuable lesson from this company!!! I will be highly recommending them in future 😊

  Great camera with a big saving Nikon Z6ii If you except from the start its being delivered from NY, it will not be super quick delivery but you do get a big saving on Nikon's price. Also the company wants some id questions answered before sending the item which is fine with me. Good emails from 42PHOTO, camera nikon z6ii was perfect and well worth the wait for the big saving in price.

  Reasonably Happy I ordered my new lens on the 2/2/23, it arrived this morning (23/2/23) from New York. it was well packaged, so speed of delivery was fantastic (especially as I ordered some stuff from them 10 minutes later and that is still in New York!) Although, the invoice is marked as a "discount" (which is to avoid state tax I suspect, but I may be wrong on that) so I'm not sure how I go about putting it through my company books! I paid an extra $40 for a 7 year warranty on the lens which I'm not too sure on, as the underwriters of the guarantee are in Europe so if anything goes wrong it would seem I would have to ship the part to them at my own expense! None of which was mentioned at time of purchase. Other than that, I'll test the lens when the camera from 42photo arrives and hope all is well from there on out.

  My 42Photo was a very easy experience. My purchase although coming from overseas arrive in double quick time. The only issue is a remote control that came in the pack doesn't fit the EOS r6 mark ii. Shame. Would have been handy. However, I'm very please with the purchase and post purchase support offered.   The person on the helpline was efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. Purchase was easy, delivery was done within a week.   Very quick delivery of the camera, considering it was free international shipping! Shipped out yesterday, and it got delivered today morning. The camera is at the best price one can find online, because of which I was a bit skeptical but there is no need to worry: the packaging was excellent and the camera is completely brand new with all the warranty papers and no tampering.   Fuji XT-5 Upgrade I am a nature, landscape, and fine art/abstract in the studio (my basement, TBH). I had been looking to upgrade my camera body and decided on the Fuji XT5, The IBIS is great for getting longer exposures out in the woods where carrying around a tripod isn't great. The ergonomic has improved (yeah bigger back button focus ), I prefer the back LCD screen that way for 42nd street photo although it is exposed 100% of the time, trade off. I notice the auto-iso speed go over 1/500s I am glad Fuji re-introduced the handgrip (I had to get a 3rd party for the X-T4). The body weight loss is palpable and I had no chance yet to test the battery life, yet kudos to keep the same battery as the X-T4, the dual charger is well invested :) Plus, if you are like me, sell your X-T4 for $1300 and you get an upgrade for a net $400 out of pocket. Their prices are competitive, and they have a fantastic range of stock including the more obscure requirements that a professional might want. They have always been helpful and courteous and I feel that if any genuine complaints are conducted in a similar manner, the buyer has absolutely nothing to fear. To summarize, I am well pleased with the kit and the service from 42nd street photo , i.e. the purchasing experience was a real pleasure, efficient, 42nd street photo, friendly, plus....... impressive pricing! Couldn't fault it and would strongly recommend 42nd street photo to anybody who want to have a great personal purchasing experience. Highly recommended, you can buy with confidence.

  q2 handgrip I do question the longevity of this fairly expensive handgrip. I hope that over time the seam is able to remain as one and not snap off due to its excessive use, only time will tell.

  The whole process of ordering up to delivery was super smooth. Fujifilm X-T5 for macro photography. This fits the bill. I wanted. an inexpensive crop sensor mirrorless camera for my insect photography. The XT-5 offers greater battery life and Eye AF over its bigger brother XT-4. I would certainly choose 42PHOTO again and recommend the service to any photographer.

  Canon R6 and a Sigma 100-600 lens I'm a 73 years old photographer I can still get to the best angles on the beach and capture everything with this one lens. Well done 42PHOTO.   As an enthusiast with a Nikon d7500 I was recommended by a pro photographer friend to buy my additional lens from 42photo in New York, They are second to none!!!, the first lens I bought was wrong and they helped me all the way to make an easy return and I was refunded immediately, I went on to buy the lens they advised me that suited my requirements and its perfect and immaculate too, I won't be going anywhere else for my requirements.   Very good after sales service! I just ordered my third used lens from 42nd Photo. The lense arrived and looked brand new. I discovered however that the lens did not auto focus correctly. However when I contacted 42ndPhoto they were so very helpful. They bent over backwards and went the extra mile and sent me a new lens which promptly arrived 5 days later. The new lens works perfectly and I am so impressed by the after sales service! Very helpful people at 42nd Photo and I would not hesitate to order from them again in the future.

  Very Inexpensive But You Get What You Pay For I should have known better. I had just spent a ton of money at 42nd Street Photo on my new Sony A7s2, and was pretty broke but wanted some stabilization, so got this Vello grip. For the money it's a decent value, but it's still pretty awful, being really cheap plastic.

  I pre-ordered from 42nd St. Photo Canon adapter EF-EOS R0.71x to be used with my EOS Canon C70 camera. We picked this company at random following a google search of video lens mount adapter retailers in the area, and couldn't be happier.   Little Package Great Lens Camera equipment is more of an investment than a purchase - so I only buy Canon and I only buy from 42photo. Both set the standard of excellence. The best thing is really this site. From start till the end of the purchase is just amazing. I live on a small island usually ordering from abroad is a pain, taking up to 2 months to deliver. My lens arrived just a week later and just in time for my excursion.

I bought the canon EOS7DMkII with 100-400mm lens on a 42nd St Photo 24 hour sale and I am pleased with it. I have had none of the bait-switch problems other reviewer wrote about, the customer service is courteous, patient and knowledgeable about every product they sell without hype or upsell. 5* because it seems well made, a bargain (if you get one on a 42nd St Photo 24 hour sale), and it exceeds my expectations for price/perfromance ratio.
